Top 5 Fails Of The First Year With Joe Biden

‘Tis the season when we reflect on the past year. So, for your consideration, here is a list of the Top 5 failures of President Joe Biden’s first year.

This is not meant to be a comprehensive list, but I have put some thought into the ranking. While the positions of #2 through #5 are debatable, I am absolutely and firmly positive about #1 being the worst failure. Read on and see if you agree.

5) Border Security
This was a disaster that everyone with a functioning brain could see coming. Which meant that Joe Biden had no idea it would happen, or that migrant caravans would print t-shirts with his name on them and surge to the border within the first months of his administration.

And then Biden decided to put Kamala Harris in charge of the border. She didn’t even bother to go to the southern border until June. The administration got ripped by their lapdog media, and they tried to keep Fox News from getting drone images. They finally were able to divert the media by changing the narrative by yelling “WHIPS!” and pointing at the Border Patrol – yet another massive lie. Meanwhile, illegal migrants were quickly shipped into the country, without even the courtesy of a COVID test. By every measureable metric, Biden has failed at the southern border.

4) The Economy
Joe Biden should have been presiding over a boom that would have equaled the Roaring Twenties. The economy was in suspended animation, and all it needed was the go-ahead to re-animate and start working again. Instead, the Biden team convinced everyone to stay home, keep drawing extra unemployment, and said that government could spend its way out of the problem. This was a lie, and led to inflation, which then morphed into stagflation as the supply chain failed and goods were stuck at ports instead of showing up on shelves. Team Biden was such a failure at this that Pete Buttigieg, Secretary of Transportation for no reason at all except a political payoff (and he loves trains!) disappeared for a two-month paternity leave and no one even noticed. The administration keeps trying to put off economic reality, first by trying to extend an illegal eviction moratorium via the CDC that ended up getting slapped down by the Supreme Court, and then by extending the student loan payment moratorium YET AGAIN, right into the middle of the 2022 election season. And let’s not even get started about the cold hard reality that’s about to slap people right across the face when it comes to those child tax credit advances and their income taxes in April. The economy is a disaster that didn’t have to be this way, and it is all on the Biden administration.

3) Afghanistan
In a normal world, the fiasco that was the withdrawl from Afghanistan should have hobbled the Biden administration going forward for all time. Instead, after being forced to cover it, the media is now attempting to sweep the entire chaotic shitshow into a memory hole. The American people, on the other hand, responded by cratering Biden’s poll numbers this summer and they have not recovered. The Taliban took the country back in one weekend, creating Saigon comparisons that stretched out into scenes of complete anarchy at the Kabul airport, capped off with the deaths of 13 American servicemembers and countless Afghans by a suicide bomber. That blood is on Joe Biden’s hands, but you would never know that by the way he kept checking his watch. The administration’s response? Drone innocent children on the way out and abandon thousands of American citizens and legal residents to the Taliban. And the administration still thinks they did a good job! There aren’t words enough to express my disgust and fury over how we left Afghanistan, or just how much Joe Biden needs to be held accountable at the ballot box, especially during the midterms and if he runs again in 2024, for what he did.

2) COVID-19
Welcome to what many consider to be Biden’s top failing, and his “Lie of the Year.”

While I don’t blame Biden for the virus itself, or the variants, I am going to blame him for the fear and division he has sowed like crazy in order to continue a “forever pandemic” in hopes of gaining and keeping even more power for the federal government. The Delta variant smacked the Biden administration full-force across the face, and with the emergence of Omicron, the administration was once again caught flat-footed. The issue of home tests that were never ordered is just the latest in a long list of COVID failures by the Biden administration, and after being in the White House for almost a full year, the ability to blame the Bad Orange Man for not doing more on COVID, though they have tried, has now faded markedly. The admission that the Biden White House wasn’t prepared for variants comes on the heels of announcing quietly that the South Africa travel ban will expire on December 31st. The Biden administration really thought that the Trump administration was at fault for not getting COVID under control. They have now learned the hard way that promising to control a virus is futile. But instead of admitting the futility – which means admitting that the basis for which Biden claimed he would be better than Trump was a lie – the administration has doubled down on vaccine mandates. The case has now been expedited to the Supreme Court, who will hear arguments on it after the New Year. Meanwhile, Omicron continues to be… not as big a deal as advertised, except in the very panicked minds of certain people.

People have lost their minds, and Joe Biden has failed at his biggest campaign promise. He should have never made this promise to begin with, and it’s going to follow him forever. But believe it or not, COVID-19 is not what I consider to be Biden’s biggest fail. That spot goes to…

1) Kamala Harris
Yes, I consider the vice president to be Joe Biden’s biggest failure. You see, when you hire someone to be your backup solely because she has the right color of vagina, there are bound to be problems. Kamala Harris has proved to be just as incompetent and just as bad a boss and manager as she was when she was attorney general of California, as a United States senator, and as a candidate for president. And yet, she was chosen by Biden because she checked all the correct intersectional boxes, not for her popularity or her experience. Biden tasked her with fixing the border, which she avoided at all costs. He also gave her the space council, which produced a most awful video with child actors. Her poll numbers are even worse than Joe Biden’s. The media, who discovered how terrible a presidential candidate she was, then talked her up as a vice-presidential candidate, has turned on her yet again. It’s gotten to the point where Joe Biden doesn’t even want to be near Kamala Harris unless he absolutely has to be. She’s terrible abroad, and yet considers her “lack of travel” outside of the DC bubble her biggest failure this year (with fake cackle for added emphasis).

“What do you think, as you come to the end of this first year, what do you think your biggest failure has been at this point?” Brennan asks, in a preview clip from the interview that “Face the Nation” posted online.”

Harris laughs and then responds: “To not get out of D.C. more.”

“I mean, and I actually mean that sincerely for a number of reasons,” Harris continues. “You know, I, we, the president and I came in, you know, COVID had already started. It was, the pandemic had started. And when we came in we really couldn’t travel.”

“You know, a large part of the relationship that he and I have built has been being in this, you know, together in the same office for hours on end, doing Zooms or whatever because we couldn’t get out of D.C., and on issues that are about fighting for anything from voting rights to child care, to one of the issues that I care deeply about, maternal health.”

“Being with the people who are directly impacted by this work, listening to them so that they, not some pundit, tells us what their priorities are. I think it’s critically important.”

“People are, people have a right to know and believe that their government actually sees and hears them. And my biggest concern is, I don’t ever want to be in a bubble when it comes to being aware of and in touch with what people need at any given moment in time.”

Yeah, I think we’re all aware of Kamala Harris’s failures, and her “lack of travel” isn’t one of them. So why is she Joe Biden’s biggest failure? Because he (or rather, his campaign) chose her, and if something happens to Biden, we are ALL stuck with Kamala Harris. And even HE can’t stand her now.

Did I miss something? Do you think COVID-19 should rank above Kamala Harris? The comments are open for your opinions.

Honestly, I think Afghanistan should be higher on the list. Allow me to back that up.

    1. About 85 million dollars in valuable equipment left behind and the best the media could do is say “Ackshually, it’s 65 million.”
    2. Swarms of unvetted refugees invading my country and the media blackout over it.
    3. Abandoning a major airfield and focusing instead on a smaller airport for evacuations.
    4. Our high ranking brass out there complaining to the Brit military that they were making us look bad by doing recues.
    5. Not allowing privately funded aircraft to get people out.

There’s a stat in baseball called an unforced error. Here all of these debacles were unforced errors. All Biden had to do was leave the economy on cruise control, keep the border enforcement in place, put a military directed withdrawal plan in place for Afghanistan, stop listening to Dr Fauci and tell the VP to shut up and stay away from media. Stay away from anybody. Great job with this ranking.
