Mr. Pot, I would like you to meet Mr. Kettle. In an interview last night with CNN’s Wolf Blitzer, New York Governor, Andrew Cuomo, blasted President Trump’s actions on a potential Coronavirus vaccine as irresponsible.
The good news is the Pfizer tests look good and we’ll have a vaccine shortly. The bad news is it’s about two months before Joe Biden takes over, and that means this administration is going to be implementing a vaccine plan.”-Andrew Cuomo
Since when is implementing a vaccine plan for a deadly virus a bad thing? Oh, right. Because President Trump is involved. Honestly, Cuomo really should not have much of a say on the vaccine’s implementation at all since he’s been so out of the loop for so long. In fact, New York Governor, Andrew Cuomo, stopped taking part in the conversations with the Trump Administration back in June. Cuomo missed roughly 17 governor calls with the White House coronavirus task force designed to brief state leaders on the vaccine development and rollout process. A no-show for Cuomo. Seventeen times. Oh, Cuomo had his concerns, his defenders would say. So, he reached out to Trump with questions. Health and Human Services Secretary Alex Azar was all set to meet with him only to be denied by Cuomo and his camp. Another no-show.
Why was Cuomo a no-show to these briefings? The “fast-tracked rollout” was “politicized”, he said. What does Cuomo want to do? Well, despite an FDA approval process and a reputable pharma giant by the name of Pfizer, Cuomo wants to hold off the State of New York by doing another round of testing with his scientists should the Trump administration roll out the vaccine nationwide. Nope, he’s not politicizing this at all, New Yorkers. He cares about the people in his state. He also wants to give his “good friend“, Joe Biden, the props for a job well-done because it kills him to give any credit whatsoever to the President.
For those of you who are in denial, Donald J. Trump is still the President.
The amount of censoring of government control is scary. Saying “follow the science” to impose massive regulations does not actually mean you are following science. Just means you are a manipulative liar @NYGovCuomo

The science behind the vaccine is real but the science behind the very same chemical makeup of a vaccine under the Trump administration is not real science and therefore dangerous to be injected into one’s arm. In fact, Democrats say it’s downright irresponsible! Science deniers support Trump, so anything he says about a Coronavirus vaccine is irresponsible and illegitimate. You know what’s irresponsible? Holding on to a potentially viable vaccine that could save lives. COVID is out there. COVID does not play politics. I have friends of all parts of the political spectrum currently impacted by COVID-19. It’s a fact of life right now. To deny willing patients who would welcome a COVID-19 vaccine even if it just meant lessening the severity and duration of symptoms because you don’t believe (or happen to like) the President is irresponsible.
You know what else is irresponsible, Governor Cuomo? This.
By the state’s own count, more than 6,600 patients have died in nursing homes as a result of COVID-19. They’re also not making up the fact that Cuomo ordered nursing homes to accept patients who had tested positive for the virus at the start of the pandemic.”-Anthony L. Fisher, Business Insider
Governor Cuomo’s administration offered very little support in providing personal protective equipment to these nursing homes early on during the pandemic, and a report from his administration put the blame on workers and visitors for unwittingly spreading the coronavirus.
No, Governor Cuomo, that is not irresponsible behavior on your part. All of these claims are just “ugly politics“. The President was just being mean to you in The Rose Garden yesterday, you poor governor, you. Really, dude? Grow a pair! Or as your “good friend”, Joe Biden (who is not yet president) would say, “C’mon, Man!”
What conference did you listen to? This is not even close to what was said. Trump explained NY will get the vaccine when our Gov Cuomo APPROVES IT. If it is delayed it is because @NYGovCuomo continues to play politics. https://t.co/ShxUHvhCvA

It’s just absolutely unconscionable that somebody would want to delay a vaccine to the American people that’s safe and effective just for political partisan reasons.”-Health and Human Services Secretary, Alex Azar
But Andrew Cuomo doesn’t play “ugly politics”, you see. He just wants to sit and wait on a vaccine for residents in his state until a man he doesn’t like is out of The White House. These are our Democrats, our public servants, our leaders who want to be trusted and who are, sadly, trusted by some.
“Governors don’t do global pandemics.”-Andrew Cuomo
Which is why you, Andrew Cuomo, need to move the EFF over when residents of your state are given the opportunity to receive an FDA-approved vaccine. We already know they cannot count on you to keep grandma healthy. If you don’t “do” the global pandemics, Mr. Cuomo, don’t “do” them. Seriously, stay out of the way. You’re much better at the ugly politics, anyway.
Did I mention, Donald Trump is still the President?

As a New Yorker (upstate) who never voted for Herr Cuomo…and never would…I am ashamed by his being our governor. He is a disgrace to both this fine state and our great nation.
Andy is probably mad that Trump wouldn’t make it mandatory, but Biden would. Because according to Dr. Fauci, we need to “do what you’re told” to do. King George tried that; didn’t work out too well for him.
Yeah, besides the fact that he stands to make a TON of money on a vaccine, the would-be tyrant Fauci can, in my considered opinion, EABOD!
NY bloggers need to dig out the actual names and stories of these people who Cuomo demonized – the nursing home workers, those who died, those who were not given proper PPE – and write their stories.
Create a ‘narrative’ that will tug on the heartstrings of people.
We need to talk to them, not in logical and reason, but in terms of EMOTION!!!!! The more over the top, the better.
Weaponize Conservative Empathy!
