Newsom Turns California To A Vote-By-Mail State

And just like that, California governor, Gavin Newsom turned the state into a vote-by-mail state yesterday.

In the name of “public health concerns”, Newsom signed an executive order by mailing every voter a ballot ahead of the November general election.

Newsom initiated this response after reports of lines outside of polling stations in Wisconsin in early April after Democrats voted to postpone the primary.

Elections and the right to vote are foundational to our democracy. No Californian should be forced to risk their health in order to exercise their right to vote. Mail-in ballots aren’t a perfect solution for every person, and I look forward to our public health experts and the Secretary of State’s and the Legislature’s continued partnership to create safer in-person opportunities for Californians who aren’t able to vote by mail.”-Gavin Newsom

Excellent point, Mr. Woods. This will for sure keep the Russians from meddling in the 2020 election. Ask Hillary Clinton. Still bitter and crazy after all these years. And after losing 33,000 e-mails, she wants mail-in voting.

Follow the lead, other governors, says Hillary. Gavin Newsom has joined Club Cool using the power of his pen and the executive order for mail-in voting this fall. Because there is nothing fraudulent about voting by mail. All mailed ballots belong to legal citizens of The United States and to Americans who are alive-and-well and not six feet under, right? Voting by mail works GREAT. Never in a million years do ballots that are lost magically become “found” to conveniently reflect democrat votes that are needed for a democrat win. That never happens. Nothing ever gets lost in the shuffle. Hold my 10 Barrel IPA-let me tell you how great it is in the wonderful state of Washington! I mean, look who we’re stuck with! The simple fact of the matter is that even though I put a check next to Donald Trump’s name on 2016’s mail-in ballot, my vote means little to nothing in my home state.

So, Californians, fear not and remain healthy. Your governor, Mr. Newsom, is taking care of you, oh members of the state! You can go to a grocery store, you can go to a Planned Parenthood, you can go to a pot shop to buy weed but you cannot go to the beach, you cannot go to work and you cannot open up your business to patrons because of COVID-19. Because doing so, no matter how foundational to our democracy, is dangerous and you just might inadvertently kill someone. I have said it before and I will say it again. Since when are these state governors at all concerned about public health? Our west-coast cities have turned into cesspools of homelessness, tent cities, drug use, violence and crapping in the streets. All of a sudden, Gavin Newsom is concerned about people being unable to social distance when they are in a line to cast their voting ballots? Do Democrats really think their voter base is that stupid? Do they think Republicans do not see through this sham? Never mind, don’t answer those questions.

It could be possible that Newsom is a bit worried that some blue voters are becoming fed up in the state. I mean, what if some of these business owners who voted blue are out of work now? What if they are seeing a lifetime’s worth of hard work shrivel up and die? Perhaps some are thinking that it’s “better to vote red than be dead“.

California will not force voters to choose between protecting their health and exercising their right to vote.”-California Secretary of State, Alex Padilla

How mighty thoughtful of Newsom and the great state of California. They wouldn’t want to force voters to choose between protecting their health and exercising their right to vote. But they will certainly force voters to stay in their houses and violate their Constitutional rights to include rights of association, travel and free assembly. Let’s see how this pans out, shall we?

And just like that, illegals in California get to vote in Federal elections. Even though as you point out, people are getting fed up with the insanity of the left, look for a democrat landslide in Cali this year..

Great post Lisa, at least the first part… After you said “10 Barrel IPA”, I kinda lost focus, and started thinking about a trip to the store…

The Newsom lockdown and this executive order also basically does in the only populist political avenue that Glorious Peoples Bear Flag Republic politicians really fear: The ballot initiative. If Californians are not allowed outside, it becomes not possible to collect the required signatures to get anything that has not passed through the filter of the state legislature onto the ballot.

And the obvious Silicon Valley solution of electronic signature collection for ballot initiatives will totes not result in the same massive fraud that all-vote-by-mail will.

So, what can Californians (and the rest of us) do about tyrannical creep? How does a yet another state avoid the election fraud already present in machines across the country?

What are the state and national mechanisms to counter election fraud?
