Biden’s Illegal Immigration Crisis

Biden has an illegal immigration crisis on his hands. One of his own making. First, there’s his new policy on illegals and sanctuary cities.

Illegals arrested, now face zero threat of arrest or deportation, until or unless they are found to be a national security threat or CONVICTED of an aggravated felony.

The review process will mean that illegal aliens can challenge their arrest and detainment if they believe they do not meet the convicted aggravated felon, terrorist, gang member, or national security threat standards.

As a result, the limited number of illegal aliens arrested and detained by ICE will now be able to contest their arrests through this additional route.

Given George Gascon’s current policies in Los Angeles, does anyone think that an illegal would actually get convicted of a felony and Gascon would then let them be deported? Even money says…NO. Other sanctuary cities will do the same. Bet me.

Children here illegally and needing long-term care by Health and Human Services (because no parents can be found) numbered 321 by the end of February. How many needed care in January? 47.

The Biden Administration, while trying to blame President Trump for the massive, and I mean massive surge of people swarming our borders, has now done away with the agreements the Trump Administration forged with Guatemala, Honduras, and El Salvador that provided the means for asylum seekers to apply while in that country. Furthermore, Biden has dumped the Migration Protection Protocols otherwise known as the ‘Remain in Mexico’ practice. Which is, having those who apply for asylum STAY in Mexico while their asylum claims are being adjudicated. Biden threw that by the wayside. And, as we noted here, many those now being allowed in the U.S. are NOT being given Covid tests prior to their being let go. Keep in mind, one of the OTHER reasons President Trump enforced the ‘Remain in Mexico’ protocols is for our public HEALTH and safety during this Covid virus mess.

However, let’s not call this a crisis. According to the new DHS Secretary Alejandro Mayorkas, this is only a “challenge.” The reason for the challenge is purely President Trump’s fault.

Yes, he literally peddled that load of horseshit at the briefing last week. He ALSO stated that the reason for the surge of unaccompanied children is because a “loving parent” sent them here. How many children will be or are now in shelters because those “loving parents” sent their kids to the U.S. and there’s not a single relative IN the U.S. to be found?

How serious is Biden’s illegal immigration crisis? This serious.

“The Biden administration has notified facilities caring for migrant children that they can open back up to pre-Covid-19 levels, acknowledging “extraordinary circumstances” due to a rising number of minors crossing the US-Mexico border, according to a memo obtained by CNN.

How serious is the illegal immigration crisis? Serious enough that the border shelters for kids are at 94% capacity and will reach the maximum before the end of March. In fact, illegal immigration involving families and unaccompanied children are expected to the the highest the Border Patrol has seen in over TWENTY YEARS.

What does that mean for the next few months before the illegal immigration surge kicks into higher gear? Send them into the facilities at full capacity with likely little to no increase in personnel to support and process these kids. Which leads to this.

“There are approximately 7,700 unaccompanied children in HHS care. The department has around 13,650 beds to accommodate children when not under reduced capacity.

A separate document, prepared by the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention, calls the situation an “extraordinary” circumstance and says “facilities should plan for and expect to have COVID-19 cases,” citing the nature of the pandemic and acknowledging “there is no 0% risk scenario.””

The health and welfare of those who work at those facilities, and those in the surrounding communities are at risk for Covid and other health issues. But no, let’s not call this a crisis. It’s a minor challenge.

Then there’s this tidbit of information.

“Internally, government officials have been sounding alarm bells. As Axios previously reported, DHS is expecting a record number of child migrants this year.

HHS has told the White House it will need a 20,000-bed capacity to humanely accommodate them.

Yet DHS says there isn’t a crisis, and Jen Psaki bristles when questioned about the issue, especially when a reporter ham-handedly brings President Trump into the equation.

Yes, blame Trump for all of this. When it is Biden who has an illegal immigration problem.

It isn’t just hotels in Texas and Arizona, DHS is considering sending families and children to a military base in Virginia. Next thing you know, Catch and Release will be reinstated.

Yet the Democrat narrative insists that this is all President Trump’s fault. Even as evidence shows that the Biden campaign and the Biden Administration have incentivized illegal immigration, thus leading to the crisis we are and will be experiencing at our borders and within our country.
