Nancy Pelosi has declared certified elections don’t matter. It is HER RIGHT to seat or unseat any member of Congress at will. Yes, you read that correctly. In regards to the Iowa race, where the Democrat lost by six votes, Nancy is now deciding the Constitution truly doesn’t matter. 

“The House Administration Committee is considering a challenge from Democrat Rita Hart, who is contesting the results in Iowa’s 2nd District after the state certified that Republican Rep. Mariannette Miller-Meeks won by just six votes.

Pelosi maintained that the House has the authority to adjudicate contested elections – especially in a race as close as Iowa’s 2nd District – and challenged Democrats critical of the review to consider how they’d react if their own races were as narrowly contested.”

Background on the Iowa race is as follows. A recount had to be done as the votes were too close to call. The recount found that Congresswoman Mariannette Miller-Meeks won, by an incredibly slim six-vote margin. The race was certified according to Iowa law. That’s the kicker The race was certified by STATE LAW, which is completely and totally Constitutional. 

However, the Democrats have been throwing shit fits ever since, with Nancy snarking that Congresswoman Miller-Meeks is only seated “provisionally.”

Well, given the fact that the House Democrats have a super slim margin, even slimmer now that Julia Letlo won her race in Louisiana, Nancy wants to go around Iowa state law and tromp all over the Constitution in order to get Rita Hart into that Congressional seat. 

Nancy doesn’t care about States Rights. Nope, she just wants power, and right now she doesn’t have enough power. So she’s scrambling to grab more. 

““Well, it was six votes. It was six votes and our candidate Rita Hart, the Democratic candidate, asked for this process to begin. Six votes out of 400,000 votes cast. This is not unique. This has happened — maybe even when you were in the Capitol before when races had been close one side or the others say, let’s take it to the House. Because even Justice Scalia agreed that the House has the authority to seat members, and therefore we can count the votes,” she replied.

First, Nancy is declaring that the House is the boss of all things election from the national level to the local level. Except that her doing so goes totally against states rights.

If an election has been certified BY THE STATE, then the House has to seat the winner of the seat. However, Nancy has persisted in saying that the election results are bogus and that it is Rita Hart who should be seated. The kicker is on this, she followed certain rules and by swearing her in, seated Congresswoman Miller-Meeks in January!

“The process for seating House members in contested elections is laid out by the Federal Contested Elections Act. Under the Federal Contested Elections Act, the House Administration “may recommend, and the House may approve by a simple majority vote, a decision affirming the right of the contestee to the seat, may seat the contestant, or find that neither party is entitled to be finally seated and declare a vacancy,” the Congressional Research Service explained in a 2010 brief.”

Oh. So, in other words, Nancy followed the rules because Iowa’s results were certified and were in line with the Federal Contested Elections Act. Huh, well how about that? 

Then, suddenly, Nancy looked around and realized she was going to spend the next two-four years scrambling madly to get a super majority on everything. Hence the continued foot-stomping denture-chewing tantrums for the last two months. 

Which has led to her reiterating once again that SHE, Queen Nancy, is the power of them all…our Constitution be damned.

She said WHAT?? 

“”Now, if I wanted to be unfair, I wouldn’t have seated the Republican from Iowa. Because that was my right on the opening day. I would have just said, ‘You’re not seated.’ And that would have been my right as Speaker to do. But we didn’t want to do that. We just said, ‘Let’s just go through this process,’ ” Pelosi said.”

Nancy wants the process to be upended so she can seat the person SHE wants. Yet Iowa voters have spoken. Iowa state elections board has certified the race.

Yes, power does indeed corrupt. We’ve watched the power corruption play out live and in real-time for the last five years, and specifically since one year ago this month. Nancy has demonstrated that all the rules are for the little people, her nephew Gavin Newsom is facing a major recall, Andrew Cuomo has killed elderly and utilized his power to benefit family and major donors, …I could go on. 

Here’s the key with this. The Iowa Election results WERE CERTIFIED. 

Nancy, along with Rita Hart, refuses to recognize that salient fact. Certified elections don’t matter to her if it means she gains more power. 

Nancy needs to go.
