Judge Sullivan Issues Whining Petulant Dismissal Of Flynn Case

Judge Sullivan wrote a 43-page whining petulant dismissal of the Michael Flynn case. According to Hizzoner, Michael Flynn is still guilty of treason or something no matter that Flynn was pardoned by President Trump.

““Mr. Flynn is not just anyone; he was the National Security Advisor to the President, clearly in a position of trust, who claimed that he forgot, within less than a month, that he personally asked for a favor from the Russian Ambassador that undermined the policy of the sitting President prior to the President-Elect taking office,” Sullivan wrote.”

How many times do we need to inform people that incoming Administration members DO, during a transition, hold conversations with officials and politicians from other countries? That is a practice that has gone on for decades if not more. Hell, it’s likely going on right now between the pseudo Biden transition folks and gov’t officials around the world. Given China’s recent comments, you can damned well bet that the Biden team is chatting with China.

But NOOOO… Sullivan has to beat that Russia! Collusion! dead horse even deader in one last whining petulant swipe at Michael Flynn and President Trump.

Want to know what an activist judge does after getting his wrist slapped multiple times by appellate courts? Read the entirety of Sullivan’s rant.

Sullivan really really didn’t want to drop this case. He went to extraordinary lengths to keep this case going. It didn’t matter that the appellate courts ruled against him. It didn’t matter that the DOJ themselves wanted the case dropped, and it certainly didn’t matter that Flynn received a pardon. Sullivan, given his whining rant, bought into the story peddled by all those cretins (James Comey, Peter Strzok, et al) who put together Crossfire Hurricane. It’s evident to me that Sullivan wanted the Russia collusion crap to be true.

Constitutional scholar Jonathan Turley takes Sullivan’s rant to the woodshed.

“”In September, Sullivan not only declared that he “still has questions” but asked whether a Biden Justice Department might be able to reinstate the prosecution of Flynn. It was a chilling statement that left the impression of a court delaying justice to “shop” for new prosecutors. He simply was not going to allow Flynn to go free. As when he brought in his own lawyer, Sullivan seemed to many to be turning into a self-contained legal system as accuser, prosecutor and presiding judge.”

As Turley pointed out, Sullivan decided he’d hold his own trial and act as judge, jury, and executioner by writing his 43 page temper tantrum regarding the case.

As Margot Cleveland pointed out, there were many issues with the case that should’ve had it thrown out long before this.

  • Special counsel threatening Michael Flynn’s son if Flynn refused to plead guilty to lying to the FBI.
  • Special counsel improperly threatening to prosecute Flynn’s son in order to get the plea deal they wanted.
  • The Guilty plea was invalid given the above AND given the fact that Flynn was not guilty of the charges the Special counsel was attempting to bring against Flynn.

Flynn didn’t purposefully lie to the FBI and their notes prove it.

“A typed “Draft Work Product” dated Jan. 30, 2017, was even more explicit, stating that on Jan. 25, 2017, the FBI had “briefed the National Security Division and Office of Deputy Attorney General staff on their interview.” The “FBI advised that they believed Flynn believed what he was saying was true.”

Additional exculpatory evidence came later, when the 302 interview summary of the special counsel’s July 19, 2017, interview of Strzok was declassified. According to the 302, Strzok stated that following the interview of Flynn, he and Pientka “both had the impression at the time that Flynn was not lying or did not think he was lying.””

Emmet Sullivan wants Michael Flynn to be guilty. So much so that he had John Gleeson argue against the dismissal of the case. A move that raised eyebrows all across the judiciary because it was so blatantly partisan. Secondly, another judge, Reggie Walton, in a highly irregular move, decided to discuss the Flynn case during a Freedom of Information Act hearing.

Glenn Kirschner believes that both judges are impartial and are dedicated to following the rule of law. How incredibly laughable.

BOTH judges in the spate of two days showed their bias and their extraordinary lack of judicial impartiality. All because it’s Michael Flynn and by proxy, President Donald J. Trump.

Michael Flynn was bankrupted and nearly ruined on multiple levels because of this case. But Emmet Sullivan wanted to have the last word, hence his whining petulant opinion.

Arguably, he committed libel. If I were Flyyn, I would look seriously about suing him.

Want to know what an activist judge does after getting his wrist slapped multiple times by appellate courts without any actual consequences whatsoever for his unconstitutional and illegal actions?
    FIFY

left the impression of a court delaying justice
a self-contained legal system as accuser, prosecutor and presiding judge
And, since the system will not impeach him as it should, there’s only one proper answer to a judge this lawless. It involves a rope.

Glenn Kirschner believes that both judges are impartial and are dedicated to following the rule of law.
Which means he should be removed from the bench for insanity.

I believe there are laws against “malicious prosecution”. Why can Sullivan not be held responsible under them? This ‘opinion’ would be my Exhibit A.
