Biden and Harris are Time Magazine’s person of the year. Why? So that Charlotte Alter, the author of the Time’s explainer for the award, can get all the digs into Trump that she can.

A few key quotes from her opinion article lauding this oh so stellar virtue signaling award:

You get the gist. This entire award is all about propping up Joe Biden and Kamala Harris. This is all about normalizing someone who has spent 47 years in politics while doing nothing for his constituents. This is all about propping up a shrewish vindictive woman who couldn’t make it as a Presidential candidate, went after Justice Brett Kavanaugh during the confirmation hearings, and had an incredibly dismal track record as Attorney General of California.  

This “award” from Time Magazine is propping up two people who are supposed to renew this country and give everyone a fresh start. Renewal and a fresh start when one is building an Administration peopled with former Obama Administration officials. Given the recent announcements, especially yesterday’s that would put Susan Rice (who lied about Benghazi and Bowe Bergdahl) in charge of domestic policy, John Kerry back in play,  and others… this is truly looking a lot like an Obama shadow Administration. An administration with the Democrats having their smallest majority in the House since 1893 (heckuva job Nancy!), and a significant number of down ticket races and legislatures  turning Republican. 

This is looking like an Administration that will go back to the Obama years, therefore it’s being knocked by the far left liberals in Congress (AOC for one) as being a little hazy on the progressive front. 

Furthermore, if this Biden Harris ticket was supposed to bring coalitions together and get groups like Black Lives Matter on board, how come BLM is getting left out in the cold?

But again, Trump bad! So Time Magazine gives Joe Biden and Kamala Harris an award for doing nothing in 2020.

Seriously, in regards to the Coronavirus, everything that Joe is promising to do is…ALREADY HAPPENING.  But the media is all in on trying to make it seem like what Biden is proposing is new and different. When it isn’t. Masks have been mandated all over the damned place since April. Social distancing, shutting down small businesses, ramping up purchases of PPE, getting the vaccines to everyone… ALL of that is in place right now across multiple states. But, because it is Biden saying this instead of President Trump, we are supposed to applaud and cheer. Horseshit. 

This award, interestingly enough, isn’t winning many friends on the liberal side of the aisle.

Pretty much. But, you see, it’s ok to tout Biden and Harris now because ORANGEMANBAD! It was ok to name those on the front lines of the Ebola fight then because OBAMA LIGHTBRINGER! 

Our frontline workers along with scientists have been working overtime to A. treat all patients and do their damndest to get them healthy, and B. develop vaccines that will help fight Covid-19. But none of that matters to Time magazine these days. It doesn’t matter that there was overwhelming support for our nurses, doctors, and scientists to be named as People of the Year. Nope, it’s all about continuing to dig at President Trump. 

Of course, Time magazine went off the deep end years ago. However, since President Trump was elected, Time along with all the other liberal media outlets have shown us that there is no depth to how low they will go in displaying their Trump Derangement Syndrome. 

What I do find laughable is that Time hands Joe Biden this cute little trophy at the same time that the media SUDDENLY discovers that the Hunter Biden corruption is real.
