Jill Biden REALLY wants that second term for Joe. As she reassured AP News yesterday, ‘Of COURSE Joe will run again!’
U.S. first lady Jill Biden gave one of the clearest indications yet that President Joe Biden will run for a second term, telling The Associated Press in an exclusive interview on Friday that there’s “pretty much” nothing left to do but figure out the time and place for the announcement.
Yep, she’s all in on dragging Joe to the finish line a second time. This after Jill supposedly wasn’t on board with another run last fall.
Seven people familiar with Biden’s thinking told CNN that her private conversations about another run now match her publicly enthusiastic persona, as well as the sentiments of President Joe Biden.
The first lady was still mostly skeptical as of early fall – “not a proponent,” as one person familiar with her thinking told CNN. But in the month since the November midterm elections, in which Democrats defied the fate of most parties of first-term presidents, friends noted a change.
Jill Biden is now “all in” on the idea, according to a person who works with the East Wing.
Yep, she’s all in as she’s Edith to Joe’s Woodrow, and by golly she wants that second term! Joe’s health? He’s totally fine! Except there are a lot of people who think otherwise, including Democrats such as Rep. Dean Phillips (D-MN).
“It’s fear, plain and simple,” Phillips explained of both the lack of Democratic officials calling for a new nominee and reluctance of other candidates to step forward. “People are focused on self-preservation and their aspirations.“
He has only praise for Biden, and not just of the Minnesota Nice sort. “He’s a president of great competence and success, I admire the heck out of President Biden,” Phillips said. “And if he were 15-20 years younger it would be a no-brainer to nominate him, but considering his age it’s absurd we’re not promoting competition but trying to extinguish it.”
I’ll say it clearly. Joe is to OLD to run again. It’s not only physical, but cognitive as well. Yet, at most, Democrats will only talk about his age or mutter that Joe has ‘lost a step’ since he took office. Oh no, he’s lost more than a step. Yet here comes Jill “Edith” Biden to tell the world, OF COURSE Joe will run again!
Based on what record? His accomplishments? WHAT accomplishments?
Inflation?
Potential recession?
North Korea flexing its nuclear muscles?
Our open borders on the south AND the north?
The fetanyl crisis?
Chinese surveillance balloons?

Oh, well. Isn’t that special? What about disasters such as the train derailment in East Palestine, Ohio?? He’s going to visit there to shore up his bad poll numbers on how he’s mishandled the response…right? WRONG.

Oh. Well, I’m sure that will poll well across Ohio. Then again, Biden has refused to visit the border, so Ohio isn’t alone in being ignored. I do have to wonder the spin his Presidential campaign (if it happens) will dream up as to why it wasn’t necessary for Biden to visit the border or East Palestine during his first term.
That said, here’s another question. Who would be his running mate? I just can’t see that Kamala will make the cut. She’s as bad as Joe on an entirely different level! Just yesterday she had a “please clap!” moment, cackled hysterically, had the audience scratching their heads and lied again about how Biden has slashed our heating costs.
Does anyone REALLY think Jill wants Kamala on the ticket a second time around? I don’t think so. That said, Jill is all in on getting Joe into round two. Even if he has to campaign from the White House basement and call lids by 930am Eastern time every third day.
It isn’t just the foreign policy and national security failures Joe will have to answer for if he does run again. He’ll need to and SHOULD answer for going all in to kill the oil and gas industry. He’ll need to answer for the DOJ targeting parents who are trying to keep their children safe. He should be called to account for sending billions in aid and funds to Ukraine yet not expecting accountability for where it all lands.
And by all means, let’s not forget about the classified documents mess that is on-going. Joe can’t even answer a direct question about it.

That’s ok though! Jill doesn’t care about any of those pesky details. Nope, she’s all about being the power behind the throne.
So, of course Joe will run! Jill said so!

Kevin says: Ms. Bookout, given your views on Biden, you should be ecstatic and over the moon that he plans to run again. According to you, he has a -98% chance of winning. Why wouldn’t you be jumping all over yourself pleading, begging him to run again? He surely can’t win even over the worst republican out there (MTG, Gaetz, Boebert, Gohmert, TFG, et. al.). What’s with the MAGA crowd that gets them in a tizzy just at the thought of Biden running again?
I would “go all in” on Biden when the choices are TFG (the F*$king Genius) and Biden. Let’s see if the republicans can avoid a repeat of 2016 when TFG clawed his way through the primaries with less than a majority of the votes. If you’re shocked by why someone would vote for Biden, all you have to do is look at the alternative (TFG) to answer your question.
While slogging through East Palestine in his “boots” with the pant legs tucked in, he waddles up to a McDonald’s and says to the worker behind the counter, “I know this menu better than you do!” That’s the only truth he’s spoken in six years.
Bring it on.
Nina Bookout says: Well Kevin, as I’ve consistently stated these last few years, Joe’s health physical AND mental is a severe problem. There’s a reason he campaigned from his basement, and calls multiple early lids. And NO ONE, especially Jill should be putting him through another campaign.
Joe himself as a politician was bad enough. But to drag a man, whose health is compromised, into office and through another campaign? Glad you think that is totally fine because I sure as hell don’t.
