U.S. oil is being sold to China instead of staying here and being refined into gasoline. This isn’t new crude fresh out of the oil fields either.

Remember those two occasions when brain-addled Biden insisted that we use oil from the Strategic Petroleum Reserve to help all of us here deal with the pain at the pump that he continually blames on Putin? Well, guess what? A significant chunk of that oil LEFT the U.S. and went elsewhere. 

More than 5 million barrels of oil from the US Strategic Petroleum Reserve were exported to Asia and Europe last month, Reuters first reported.

Among the shipments were two cargo ships carrying 560,000 barrels each from Atlantic Trading & Marketing, part of France’s TotalEnergies, according to Reuters. And Phillips 66, the fourth-largest oil supplier in the US, sent about 470,000 barrels from a storage facility in Texas to Trieste, Italy, where a pipeline feeds refineries in central Europe.

The exports follow similar shipments of Strategic Petroleum Reserve crude in April, when three ships went to Europe to replace Russian oil.

Remember folks, draining the Strategic Petroleum Reserve, which is now at its lowest point since 1985, was for OUR benefit. It was to lower the gas prices so we didn’t have to pay so much at the pump. Well, right now in my neck of the woods, we are lucky to get unleaded at $5.06 or more per gallon. 

Furthermore, as Biden jaunts off to Saudi Arabia to beg for more oil, Biden himself was warned by France’s President Macron that the Saudis are at capacity and have no more oil to give. 

SO WHY IN THE HELL are we selling U.S. oil to CHINA??!!! 

Biden’s Energy Department in April announced the sale of 950,000 Strategic Petroleum Reserve barrels to Unipec, the trading arm of the China Petrochemical Corporation. That company, which is commonly known as Sinopec, is wholly owned by the Chinese government. The Biden administration claimed the move would “address the pain Americans are feeling at the pump” and “help lower energy costs.” More than five million barrels of oil released from the U.S. emergency reserves, however, were sent overseas last month, according to a Wednesday Reuters report. At least one shipment of American crude went to China, the report said.

The Biden administration also claimed the Unipec sale would “support American consumers and the global economy in response to Vladimir Putin’s war of choice against Ukraine” and combat “Putin’s price hike.” But as the war rages on, Unipec has continued to purchase Russian oil. In May, for example, the company “significantly increased the number of hired tankers to ship a key crude from eastern Russia,” Bloomberg reported. That decision came roughly one month after Unipec said it would purchase “no more Russian oil going forward” once “shipments that have arrived in March and due to arrive in April” were fulfilled.

China is laughing their asses off at us. Seriously, they are. Sure, China had to write a check for the oil shipments, but they are now housing millions of barrels of U.S. oil while we deal with the highest gas prices this country has ever seen. Furthermore, China is STILL buying oil from Russia. So yes, they are laughing at us. Not only that, but there’s a Biden and Hunter Biden catch to this mess.

In 2015, a private equity firm Hunter Biden cofounded bought a $1.7 billion stake in Sinopec Marketing.

Well, isn’t that something? Especially when you consider that Sinopec then bought Gazprom, a major Russian gas company. When did Sinopec purchase Gazprom? In MARCH 2022. Wouldn’t it be great if some folks followed the money trails to find out what Hunter and Joe’s ROI was for this? 

If you can pry Joe Biden off his beach this weekend, want to bet that any question asked (if someone DOES ask) about the oil sales to China and Russia? Want to bet he’ll do the blame Putin dance, unless he tries to blame energy companies for it again.

A few Democrats are getting a clue that these sales weren’t a good idea.

The draining of the Strategic Petroleum Reserve was to help Americans by providing crude oil to be refined to then be sent to U.S. gas stations. That was the assurances from multiple people across the Biden Administration. Now we find out that draining the SPR was to the benefit of China and Russia. 

We have the ability to provide oil and natural gas to this country, which would lower prices at the pump, and yes, fill the tax coffers on the local/state/federal level. However, willfully blindness of the Biden Administration and their economy-killing Green New Deal agenda is in the way. 

Selling oil meant for U.S. consumers to China and Russia is totally fine folks. We are still supposed to blame Putin for all of this while Xi and Putin are laughing all the way to the bank. 

Yes, Joe, you did that. Thanks a helluva a lot.
