Blame Trump. That’s the White House stance for everything. Yesterday afternoon during her regular circle back White House briefing, Jen Psaki tossed this to the media wolves.
“White House press secretary Jen Psaki blamed the Trump administration’s rhetoric on the coronavirus pandemic for elevating threats against Asian Americans as investigators probe the motives of a suspect in a shooting spree that killed six Asian women in and around Atlanta, Georgia.
Former President Donald Trump has been repeatedly accused of racism for referring to the “China virus” or “Wuhan flu” when talking about COVID-19.
Psaki made her comments hours after a 21-year-old man was arrested following attacks on three massage parlors in the Atlanta area that left eight people dead.
“I think there’s no question that some of the damaging rhetoric that we saw during the prior administration, calling COVID the ‘Wuhan virus’ or other things, led to perceptions of the Asian American community that are inaccurate, unfair, … [It] has elevated threats against Asian Americans, and we’re seeing that around the country,” she said during the White House daily briefing”
Can you guess what the media spin will be for the next couple of days? You guessed it. A deep, super deep dive into the understanding of how President Trump’s Wuhan flu rot virus rhetoric is now responsible for EVERY bad thing that will happen to Asians or to anyone else who is a minority.
The media had already been having a grand time publishing every liberal call for these white supremacist crimes to stop. Who were some of the usual suspects?

But I do want to say to our Asian-American community that we stand with you and understand how this has frightened and shocked and outraged all people, knowing the increasing level of hate crime against our Asian-American brothers and sisters,” Harris told reporters before a meeting with Irish Prime Minister Micheál Martin.”
Notice something about Kamala’s statement? She admits that the motive wasn’t known at the time, yet in the SAME statement she quickly pivoted to declaring this was a hate crime. Zero evidence of that, and zero knowledge of his motivation at the time. Yet, Kamala issues that very irresponsible statement because narrative!
Blame Trump is now the newest part of this narrative thanks to Ted Lieu, several others, and now Jen Psaki.
What’s key about this is two things.
ONE: the shooter’s motivation is now turning out to be anything BUT white supremacy or a hate crime. Instead it’s evidently an outshoot of his own self-loathing regarding the sex addiction he has emphatically told police that he has.
“The gunman told the police that he had a “sexual addiction” and had carried out the shootings at the massage parlors to eliminate his “temptation,” the authorities said on Wednesday. He also said that he had frequented massage parlors in the past and launched the attacks as a form of vengeance. All but one of the victims were women, the police said.
Yet that didn’t stop Atlanta Mayor Keisha Lance Bottoms from declaring that it doesn’t matter what the shooter’s motive was, because six more Asians and two whites were killed, it’s a hate crime.
TWO: The shooter’s motive isn’t the current narrative being peddled Blame Trump because President Trump said stuff a YEAR ago about the Wuhan virus, and we are supposed to believe there’s a connection??
If that is true, then the MEDIA is also complicit as well.

Furthermore, many of the attacks on Asians in the San Francisco area are attacks perpetrated by blacks.

Blacks are white supremacists now?
Finally, as much as the media and politicians really want this to turn into a blame Trump and white supremacy festival, the emerging facts paint a very very different story.
The media desperately wants this to be a hate crime. Not only that, they want to throw in an entire chapter or five of Blame Trump.

For the last four years, and especially in the last two weeks, the media and politically crafted narratives (Georgia election call and the Jussie Smollett hoax are two examples) have been blown to smithereens because the real facts emerged and Trumped their favored narrative.
Will this be the case as well? It wouldn’t surprise me one bit.
