Just when you thought things couldn’t get any worse when it comes to individuals weighing in on a pandemic, enter CNN. The cable wannabe “news” network will be featuring climate activist teenager, Greta Thunberg, in a town hall hosted by Anderson Cooper.
Greta said that she will not be on the panel as an “expert” but instead as an “activist in a world altered by the coronavirus.”

Saint Greta will appear alongside former acting CDC director Richard Besser, former HHS secretary Kathleen Sebelius. As you can imagine, CNN’s choice for placing Thunberg on the panel was met with criticism and questions.

In a world where Dr. Rand Paul gets the old lecture about not being qualified to school Dr. Anthony Fauci on COVID-19, CNN comes to the rescue to offer up the “expert, activist opinion” of a school-skipping climate change activist by the name of Greta Thunberg. Rand Paul tested positive for COVID-19. Rand Paul recovered from COVID-19. Apparently, so did Grumpy Greta. Or, at least, it was “extremely likely” she had it.
I guess that makes some of us “experts”, too. I mean, I had a sore throat and was super-tired-as in beyond exhaustion-back in late February. I went about three days with no taste buds and no sense of smell, a strong indicator of the novel corona virus. Does that necessarily qualify me to be an “expert” on a panel? Not hardly. What makes Thunberg an authority worthy of being on a panel with a former CDC director and an HHS secretary? The fact that she is an activist and it was extremely likely she had the virus…so she says.
Of course, don’t say anything, mean, nasty Conservatives, about Greta Thunberg appearing on a COVID-19 town hall on CNN. You are just bitter individuals. You are just sexist. You are discriminating against the child. How dare you!

Has Dr. Mehmet Oz given out some crazy medical advice? Absolutely. Would I look to him to solve the COVID-19 pandemic single-handedly? Heck no. Why we are relying on Dr. Anthony Fauci as a sole authority is also beyond my realm of understanding. Remember, we are referring back to the logic of you can meet a Tinder date “if you’re willing to take a risk” but cannot have your elective surgery performed at this time because it’s “dangerous”. I’m not talking Nancy Pelosi’s Botox and brow lift, I am talking people who are in pain who need hip replacements, for example. But by all means, if you need to hook up, Fauci sure as hell isn’t going to stop you.
I know, how dare I question Fauci!?
In reality, the COVID-19 world is probably little Miss Greta’s dream. Now she really doesn’t have to go to school. Emissions around the world are way down thanks to travel restrictions and air travelers’ confidence being completely shaken. She’s loving this. Yachts for all. I am sure Greta Thunberg will sound off on this and couple some statistics that were thrown at her while shaking her fist at grown adults and berating us about how we still aren’t doing enough.
At this point, I honestly think our frustration as Americans has little to do with Greta Thunberg herself as a young female or as somebody’s petulant, over-indulged child appearing on a panel for an irrelevant news network. The frustration here is that our news media outlets see her appearance as relevant during this time and are continuing to exploit her (and her disorder) as a mouthpiece for leftist climate change policies during an economic crisis. Sure, let’s kick the poor, working, American shmucks while they are down, shall we?
Here are a few pointers and suggestions for a town-hall speech should Greta decide to give one to our state governments who are forcing us to remain on lockdown:

This is all wrong.
We should be back at work.
HOW DARE YOU!
You have stolen our livelihood.
Our children…they should be in school.
Instead we hear your empty words about Phase 1, Phase 2 and Phase 3 and “reopening” our economies.
People are suffering.
Our economy is dying.
Our economic system is collapsing.
And all you talk about is more money and the fairytales of eternal stimulus checks.
HOW DARE YOU!
How dare you continue to look away when the politics and solutions are still nowhere in sight.
You say you hear us and understand the urgency….
…you get the drift. Heck, maybe we all need to channel our inner Greta! There you go, Greta and CNN. I fixed it for you.

Many teenagers are easily duped, but autistic teens more so as their lack of understanding of the social intent in the Minds of others is a primary issue. That’s why the term ‘mind blindness’ is used in relation to autistics whose focus is on issues that are ‘concrete’ and have a clear and definable set of ‘rules’, but they have little ability to consider and ‘read’ the Minds of others. The social manipulation of others takes many years to learn for even the most socially able autistics and, even then, it’s a process that is generally of little importance in itself as, typically, the autistic person is object-centred not people centred. In other words autistic make lousy politicians due to their lack of tact and general lack of interest in people per se, but are much more interested in whatever obsessional interest on which they focus and which is the centre of their being. In the case of Miss GT it’s the climate – in infinite detail and to hell with other issues pertaining to people that cannot be quantified to fit a ‘scientific’ model.
