Study: Natural Immunity As Good Or Better Than Covid Vaccines

NOW it’s ok to talk about the benefits of natural immunity to Covid. NOW it’s ok to say that natural immunity can be as good as or better than the Covid vaccines.

Immunity acquired from a Covid infection provides strong, lasting protection against the most severe outcomes of the illness, according to research published Thursday in The Lancet — protection, experts say, that’s on par with what’s provided through two doses of an mRNA vaccine.

Infection-acquired immunity cut the risk of hospitalization and death from a Covid reinfection by 88% for at least 10 months, the study found.

You. Don’t. Say.

Oh, but there’s more. You see, this was a huge Meta analysis of both data and a multitude of studies (65 in fact) conducted across the last couple of years. The analysis included studies that have said the same thing since at least late 2020 and specifically during 2021. Yet when ANYONE, including the writers here at Victory Girls said as much, social media slapped Covid warnings on our posts. And, if you are a Governor who steps out of the narrative, watch out!

“The ones that have recovered have very strong immunity,” DeSantis said Sept. 13. “That’s very clear from every study that’s been done.”

At a Tampa event later the same day, DeSantis mentioned a study out of Israel.

“They compared the protection from a previous infection versus the Pfizer protection. They found that Pfizer did provide protection, but the natural immunity was far stronger,” he said.

The Tampa Bay Times couldn’t let that stand, and so they ran a “fact-check.” You see, even if people who got Covid and recovered without vaccines have strong immunity, their immunity (according to the “experts”) won’t be as strong as immunity PLUS a vaccine. So, the newspaper issued their “ruling.”

DeSantis said people who have recovered from COVID-19 have very strong protection.

The studies are preliminary, but they do find that surviving COVID-19 leaves people with robust immunity, even stronger than immunity gained through vaccination.

However, some of the same research found that giving a single vaccine dose to those who had recovered provided the best protection.

DeSantis’ point is accurate but needs more context. We rate this claim Mostly True.

Well, now we are being told that what we as rational and deliberate thinkers have known is definitely true. Natural immunity is beneficial. Unless you are companies such as Pfizer pushing the vaccines and boosters using celebrities as the hook.

Very good question. If Pfizer is SO CONFIDENT in the efficacy of their vaccines and boosters, why turn off the comments?

This study isn’t the only narrative that has been debunked in recent weeks. Those masks? Even the N95 masks? “probably makes little or no difference” in stopping the spread of Covid or any other respiratory virus.

It may seem intuitive that masks must do something. But even if they do trap droplets from coughs or sneezes (the reason that surgeons wear masks), they still allow tiny viruses to spread by aerosol even when worn correctly—and it’s unrealistic to expect most people to do so. While a mask may keep out some pathogens, its inner surface can also trap concentrations of pathogens that are then breathed back into the lungs. Whatever theoretical benefits there might be, in clinical trials the benefits have turned out to be either illusory or offset by negative factors. Oxford’s Tom Jefferson, the lead author of the Cochrane review, summed up the real science on masks: “There is just no evidence that they make any difference. Full stop.”

The Cochrane study involved hundreds of thousands of people, including healthcare workers. It involved masks of all kinds, including the N95’s.

As we’ve now seen statistically time and again, the actual mortality rate is .5% or less across the entirety of the population, and sadly the virus was more dangerous for those with more than one comorbidity and the elderly. Yet we’ve had the experts continually push vaccines, boosters, and masks. We’ve been told we will experience winters of death if we don’t get vaccinated and boosted. And don’t you dare ask questions as to why the vaccines are so effective that those vaccinated keep getting Covid!

Science and rational reasoned thinking was thrown out the window in favor of the narrative of “Expert Science” by politicians. And many are working hard to ignore these current and very data-driven findings.

As evident from her testimony just a few days ago, the CDC led by Rochelle Walensky will be ignoring data that is inconvenient to their chosen narrative.

And then they wonder WHY their expertise is no longer trusted. Furthermore, the media in rushing to protect the narratives is equally complicit.

Our political and medical “experts” need to be and must be held to account. People’s lives have been irreparably harmed by this fear-mongering. Our young people are grappling with depression and years worth of learning loss. Families and friendships have been damaged or broken by these politically charged narratives. People have been driven from jobs and careers because of the vaccine push, and our military is lacking in trained personnel because of the same.

Natural immunity IS a factor in fighting against Covid. We’ve known that, studies have shown that, and NOW the narrative says it’s finally REALLY ok to admit that publicly.

There will be a next time.
And the same folks who gave us the “nice job you have there… would be a shame if you lost it because you are an anti-science racist who doesn’t know Safe & Effective when you see it”
…will inevitably come up with a next round of testing marketed in a way that will have a lot of people saying, “Yeah, but this time is different, if you understand the science, man.”

Here’s what you neglect to address … not contracting COVID in the first place and, if you do, being vaccinated greatly enhances your ability to fight off serious illness or death. If you’re one of those people who contract COVID and get over it without any long term effects, good for you.

For those of you who struggle with understanding why being vaccinated greatly improves your chances of survival and no long term effects … read this https://ourworldindata.org/covid-deaths-by-vaccination

Picking a point on the graph in the article, on January 22, 2022, 28.01 people (out of 100,000) who were unvaccinated die versus 2.75 people (out of 100,000) who were vaccinated. See the importance of being vaccinated to begin with?

I kind of hope you don’t and will continue to avoid vaccinations. Don’t forget to skip your kids polio vaccine!

Those statistics are covid deaths alone. So, assuming this data is true….
On the most cherry picked of cherry picked days, when covid was doing its statistical worst, deaths from covid went from a “whopping” .028 percent to .00275 percent (“whew!”). Doesn’t touch excess deaths for other reasons….which we now know were up 30 percent at that time. Hm.
Remember to get your fifth booster.
They only work for a few weeks now (at best). You can never be too safe and effective!

      • Cameron says:

Let’s not forget the common factors on a lot of those deaths: Age, obesity, compromised immune systems, etc.

        • Liz says:

          Yep.
I don’t doubt the initial covid vaccine helped some (especially high risk) groups. I also don’t doubt that forcing them on the population least likely to be harmed by covid and most likely to be harmed by the vaccine (young military men) led to a lot of deaths/injuries. My spouse is currently on disability for SVT. I think covid did it (happened while he had covid the second time). But it is interesting out of 3 cardiologists he has visited not a single one has asked about his vaccination status. Not one. No one seems to be recording this information, even for data purposes.
I’m too much of a cynic to believe that’s just random.

          • Liz says:

Side note: Just when the military stopped mandating covid jabs, they are bringing back the anthrax jabs (for deployments).

          • Cameron says:

The initial two weeks of shut down was reasonable since we knew that China was not going to be honest about what they unleashed on the world. And the vaccines should have been reserved only for the people at the most risk.

Sorry about your husband though. Hope he gets through this all right.

            • Liz says:

              Thanks Cameron. 🙂
Of all the arrhythmias to get, SVT is probably the easiest to treat/manage. His prognosis is good, knock on wood.

  • Scott says:

Just wait, Kevin should be here soon to spew his woman / President Trump hating BS all over this thread, the study, and anyone who doesn’t believe what his betters tell him to believe..

    • Scott says:

Damn, I must be psychic, he was typing a screed at the same time i was posting…

    • liz says:

Yep. But it wasn’t anti Trump. Just anti-children.
Like the standard all-things-with-the-word-vaccine-are-good (and equal) argument.
You don’t want the covid “vaccine”? You must be FOR POLIO!!
Kind of like putting the word “green” before something makes it ipso facto good for the environment. Simple folk gonna be simple.

      • Scott says:

If by simple, you mean the kid in grade school that sat in the corner and ate paste, I agree…

      • Cameron says:

Kind of surprised he didn’t do one of his usual TDS screeds. Must break his heart knowing that Trump was responsible for the vaccine getting fast tracked.
