Well what do you know? There was indeed a cover-up regarding the origins of Covid. And this indictment of Anthony Fauci’s top aide, David Morens, lays out the details.
The Department of Justice has indicted a former senior adviser to Dr. Anthony Fauci for allegedly concealing records from investigations into the origins of the COVID-19 pandemic.
David Morens, 78, has been charged with one count of conspiracy against the United States; two counts of destruction, alteration, or falsification of records in federal investigations; and two counts of concealment, removal, or mutilation of records.
The ex-National Institute of Allergy and Infectious Diseases (NIAID) official faces up to 51 years in federal prison if convicted of all charges.
The indictment, unsealed Monday in Maryland federal court, also notes two unnamed co-conspirators who “concealed, removed, destroyed and caused the concealment, and removal of federal records to evade FOIA [Freedom of Information Act] and FRA [Federal Records Act].”
Details of the indictment, which also includes bribery and illegal payments, are quite the read.
According to the indictment, Morens, Co-Conspirator 1, Co-Conspirator 2, and others conspired during the COVID-19 pandemic to defraud and commit several offenses against the United States after NIH terminated Co-Conspirator 1’s grant. NIH terminated the grant, Understanding the Risk of Bat Coronavirus Emergence, based on allegations that COVID-19 emerged from the Wuhan Institute of Virology (WIV) in Wuhan, China. NIAID awarded the grant to Company #1 and Co-Conspirator 1, who made a subaward to the WIV.
Following the termination, Morens and Co-Conspirator 2 pledged to help Co-Conspirator 1 restore the termination of the bat coronavirus grant and counter the narrative that COVID-19 leaked from a lab. In anticipation that their communications would be requested through a FOIA Request, Morens, Co-Conspirator 1, and Co-Conspirator 2 agreed in writing to intentionally hide their communications, from public view, by corresponding using Morens’s personal Gmail account, rather than his official NIH email account.
The indictment alleges that the conspirators used Morens’s personal Gmail account to exchange non-public NIH information; correspond about their efforts to influence NIH to fund Company #1; exchange edits to drafts of letters addressed to NIH leadership for Company #1 and Co-Conspirator 1; and “back-channel” information to Senior NIAID Official 1. According to the indictment, each of these matters fell within Morens’s role as senior advisor and constituted federal records that needed to be created, maintained, and exchanged on government systems.
Additionally, the indictment further alleges that Morens and Co-Conspirator 1 conspired to pay illegal gratuities. The indictment states that Co-Conspirator 1 gifted Morens wine for his “behind-the-scenes shenanigans,” and arranged for its delivery to Morens’s residence in Maryland. Morens then allegedly identified an official act that he could perform to “deserve” the gift, which was a scientific commentary in a prominent medical journal advocating that COVID-19 had natural origins. The indictment further alleges that Co-Conspirator 1 suggested he would provide Morens with additional things of value, including meals at Michelin-starred restaurants in Paris, New York, and Washington, D.C.
Gee… I wonder who the other two were? Let’s connect the dots shall we?

David Morens served as Fauci’s senior advisor from 2002 – 2022. As such, he certainly knew where everything, everyone, and the money was.
However, the more you look into the indictment, the clearer it is that they thought they were above it all. Morens own gmail traffic are full documentation of this conspiracy to keep the origins of Covid buried. Which includes expressing thanks for the gifts of bottles of wine from Peter Daszak and affirmative responses about getting kickbacks, and more.
“[T]here is no worry about FOIAs. I can either send stuff to Tony on his private Gmail [sic], or hand it to him at work or at his house,” Morens wrote in one April 21, 2021, email. “He is too smart to let colleagues send him stuff that could cause trouble.”
Two months prior, Morens said in a Feb. 24 email: “[I] learned from our foia [sic] lady here how to make emails disappear after I am FOIA’d [sic] but before the search starts.”
Morens also told Keusch in a May 13, 2021, email that he “connected” a colleague with Fauci on “our ‘secret’ back channel.”
On Sept. 9, 2021, Morens wrote that he would “always communicate on Gmail [sic] because my NIH email is FOIA’d constantly” and “delete anything I don’t want to see in the New York Times.”
People were kicked off of social media for daring to question Covid, its origins, and the response. Anthony Fauci set himself up as THE sole decision-maker during those years. David Morens was just ONE of the many across the Biden Administration – including that troll Fauci – who worked overtime to ensure zero questions were asked about any aspect of Covid.
The Washington Post can’t help themselves. You see, this indictment is about punishing President Trump’s political enemies.
Many scientists, though far from all, believe that the coronavirus jumped naturally from bats to humans via an intermediate animal of some kind. President Donald Trump and some of his supporters, however, have promoted an alternate theory that the virus escaped from a Chinese government lab, which could arguably lay blame on a rival country.
The case is also the latest in a string of recent actions under Blanche that are sure to appeal to Trump and others in his party with certain long-held grievances. In recent weeks, Blanche has moved to accelerate cases against Trump’s political enemies and has released a string of reports reflecting long-standing Republican complaints about the Justice Department.
Were there missteps in 2020 under the Trump Administration? Yes. We even said so on multiple occasions. But when the Biden Administration rolled in, the censoring and silencing went into overdrive led by Fauci and others.

It looks like other indictments are pending. I truly hope Fauci’s is one of them, preemptive pardon from Biden or not. Anthony Fauci and his “science” cronies inflicted a great harm upon this country and the world during Covid. They MUST be held accountable.

Call Fauci as a witness. He can’t be prosecuted, but he can be compelled to testify. He’s lost his fifth amendment protection. Expose the lies and corruption even if prosecution is off the table.
