SCOTUS Nominee Brett Kavanaugh’s Wife Targeted By NY Times And AP [VIDEO]

It was known from the get go that the media and Democrats would absolutely HATE whomever President Trump would nominate for Justice Anthony Kennedy’s seat on the United States Supreme Court. However, with Brett Kavanaugh, the NY Times and the AP have taken their animosity further into the pit.

Yes indeed. Both of those no longer credible media organizations have swung into action to make sure that Brett Kavanaugh never ever becomes a member of the United States Supreme Court. Are they going after his record? Yes. Are they making up crap out of whole cloth? Yes indeed they are.

In this July 19, 2018, photo, Supreme Court nominee Brett Kavanaugh glances at reporters during a meeting with Sen. James Lankford, R-Okla., on Capitol Hill in Washington. Kavanaugh has a long record of judicial and executive branch service. It’s part of what recommends him as President Donald Trump’s nominee to the Supreme Court. And it’s also part of the problem in getting him confirmed by the Senate. Democrats want to see the conservative appellate court judge’s lengthy paper trail before they even start casting their votes. The paper chase is turning the vetting process into a political strategy ahead of the November election. (AP Photo/Manuel Balce Ceneta)

This time, their target isn’t just Kavanaugh himself or his judicial record. This time, they have set their sights on Brett’s wife Ashley.

The New York Times and Associated Press both filed requests under the Maryland Public Information Act (PIA) seeking e-mails that Ashley Kavanaugh, the wife of President Trump’s Supreme Court nominee, Judge Brett Kavanaugh, sent as town manager of The Village of Chevy Chase Section 5, according to documents obtained by America Rising Squared (AR2) and shared exclusively with the NTK Network.

The two news organizations took different approaches to obtain the e-mails. According to the documents, the AP made a sweeping request for “all emails sent or received” by Ashley Kavanaugh’s Village of Chevy Chase email address.

Wowwwww… And this has to do with her husband’s judicial record how? Evidently because she might have discussed issues that are super duper triggering!

By contrast, The New York Times is currently requesting that The Village of Chevy Chase Section 5 hand over “any emails to or from Ms. Kavanaugh that contain any of the keywords or terms listed below.”

And what a list it is, including words like “liberal,” “abortion,” “gay,” and “federalist,” while also explicitly asking for e-mails containing the names of certain individuals.

Think I’m kidding? Here is a screen shot of the request.

It follows in the footsteps of what folks such as Cory Booker have said about the SCOTUS nominee.

Yeah, we discussed the entire misuse of the 23rd Psalm here and here.

Powerline’s John Hindraker makes an excellent point.

When Stephen Breyer, Ruth Ginsburg, Sonia Sotamayor and Elena Kagan were appointed to the Court, did the Times, or the Associated Press, try to investigate documents sent or received by their family members?

Answer is … NO. NOPE. NADA. ZILCH.

Keep in mind, the NYT tried to target Chief Justice John Roberts children during his confirmation process, and that tanked spectacularly. Evidently, anyone who is left at the Old Gray Lady doesn’t history well regarding their own news stories.

Now they’ll probably try to target the Kavanaugh children because ZOMG! they possibly ran a neighborhood lemonade stand and Permit Patty wasn’t allowed to complain!

The media and Democrats don’t like President Trump. That has been a fact since long before he won the election (sorry not sorry Hillary). However, to stoop again to the low of raking individual family members over imaginary coals because your Trump animosity is on full boil is SLIMY.

Dear media. You want to know why we don’t like you? This is why.

Did you hear about Roddy Rodentstein asking 100s of federal prosecutors to review Kavanaugh’s judicial history? It should hold up the process for a long while.

Was Rod Rodentstein voted into office, or was he just promoted thru the ranks, as his years climbing the judicial Ladder in the initial position allowed him to become what he is.?

Cant he just be fired, if he is not an elected official? What’s with the impeachment process being talked about?

Switching Gears, Regarding President Trumps Payment issues to some woman he may have had an affair with, Who Cares, its HIS MONEY AND HIS MARRAGE.
How about the (money pit/ slush fund) that was put aside to cover up indiscretions by our illustrious Congressmen and Senators… Time to bring this up again, don’t you think?

An increase in FONT SIZE would be great so all of us Old Timers can Read the articles without our readers or a magnifying glass!! No joke intended.

I guess the big question is: Did (or will) the Village of Chevy Chase capitulate to assist the New York Slimes and AP (American Pravda?) Or, will the leaders of that humble village secure the integrity of the past, present and future employees?
