The city of San Francisco has been a pit of misery for years. Mayor London Breed, seemingly ignored the warning signs for a long time.

But now, it seems Breed cannot ignore ailing San Francisco any longer, which is why she is asking-or should we say-demanding-federal assistance to tackle the problem.

Breed has decided to wake up from a maskless night of dancing and carousing out on the town to ask for this federal assistance to tackle violent crime and open-air drug dens. In an open letter to California’s new U.S. attorney, Ismail J. Ramsey, Breed cites an “unprecedented police staffing shortage” as the crux of the problem:

As you know, we are dealing with multiple serious public safety challenges locally, from a fentanyl-driven overdose epidemic, open-air drug dealing, property crime in our commercial and residential neighborhoods, increasing gun violence and prejudiced fueled incidents.”-London Breed

An “unprecedented police staffing shortage”, in San Francisco, eh? Color us shocked, London.

Compound this with the separation of willing law enforcement officers because of COVID vaccine mandates and, well, I’d say you and your constituents have created this problem all on your own, Ms. Breed.

Breed goes on in her letter to Ramsey stating she is “most concerned about drug dealing on the streets, describing dealers as becoming increasingly aggressive with police, ambassadors, other city workers and residents.”

These people are supposedly the intellectually superior, guys and gals. At least, that is what they’d like to tell us. Yet, in their delusional world of woke ideology and loose, liberal policies, these individuals cannot see how not supporting law enforcement and willingly allowing homeless drug addicts to wander about and not get into a rehab program caused these problems in their cities. It is now springtime in the cities on the left coast and Breed, and other city mayors want to clean up their messes, just in time for tourism. In fact, they want to “reverse” the hot mess and clean up the heaping pile of crap they’ve created:

Again, how’s about rehab so we don’t need the naloxone?

Breed cut $120 million from the budgets of both San Francisco’s police and sheriff’s departments, which a department spokesperson warned at the time “could impact our ability to respond to emergencies.” She later reversed the decision, as levels of crime skyrocketed.”-Ben Kew, RedState

San Francisco is not alone in its plight to fight violent crime and rampant drug dealing and addiction. Up the I-5 corridor lies the City of Portland where, thanks to mayor Ted Wheeler law enforcement budgets were slashed $15 million in 2020. The city then added $7 million back in, after rioters showed up at his apartment, but the damage was already done. In Seattle in 2020, Seattle City Council Member, Kshama Sawant, incited a riot (the news will call it a protest), which led to the creation of the CHOP and a “summer of love”, as dubbed by former Seattle Mayor, Jenny Durkin. Savant, after the burning of a police precinct, still sits on Seattle’s City Council. Seattle, also saw attrition of law enforcement officers after vaccine mandates and city politics basically prevented them from effectively doing their jobs.

The common link here between San Francisco, Portland and Seattle is obvious. It is the feckless leadership that has plagued these cities for years finally catching up to them. Instead of investing in law enforcement and taking care of their personnel, London Breed, Jenny Durkin, Ted Wheeler and other policymakers in these cities threw them out and let the trash take over.

San Francisco has long been the leader in progressive policies and Breed did call on some “tough love” in 2021 to combat “the reign of criminals” destroying the city, but it was too little, too late.

It’s a public health calamity we have not seen since the AIDS crisis-San Francisco Supervisor Matt Dorsey.

Hmmm…ya think?!

San Francisco, a “world-class city” was known for its “poop maps” for years. Human defecation in the streets was not the only problem in the city. Trash, used needles and other drug paraphernalia, and open drug usage and “drug dealers becoming increasingly combative with law enforcement” have taken the city to a new level of needing federal aid, apparently. Not any of this stuff, right, London?

I mean, what did they expect to come of these policies?

well what exactly did you think we'd get when we tell criminals:
1). It's ok to commit crimes in our city
2). you won't get prosecuted
3). we will use the race card to help you
4). we will help your drug business by setting up safe injection zones to take your illegal drugs

So much for the killer robots. And, what would this federal aid do if granted to the City of San Francisco? My guess is the funding will not go towards law enforcement and putting criminals where they should be and drug addicts into rehab programs that actually work. If you listen to the narratives in these cities, it doesn’t take much to figure it out. Two words: Housing Crisis. Any and all funding will go towards “housing units” for drug addicts to trash. Put them off the streets and away for tourist season while offering them safe injection sites to continue to feed the problem. Seems to have worked wonders for Portland and Seattle. Got to promote those progressive utopias in time from Pride Month.
