Title 42, a major Border control mechanism was supposedly in place to help save us from the Covid virus. Evidently, that doesn’t matter anymore, so let’s just open the borders and let illegals flood the country.

The Biden administration on Friday rescinded Title 42, the Trump-era policy that allows for the rapid expulsion of migrants at the border and blocks them from seeking asylum.

The move comes after years of pressure from within President Biden’s own party and frustration from immigration advocates who had pressed to end a policy they viewed as illegal and cruel to those fleeing persecution and danger.
The order from the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention (CDC) lifts Title 42 on May 23.

“Based on the public health landscape, the current status of the COVID-19 pandemic, and the procedures in place for the processing of covered noncitizens … CDC has determined that a suspension of the right to introduce such covered noncitizens is no longer necessary to protect U.S. citizens,” the CDC wrote.

First, as we’ve noted multiple times since January 2021, the Biden Administration has done everything they can to ensure illegals get into this country WITHOUT going through the needed protocols, which were SUPPOSED to include testing and/or vaccination against Covid. How is that possible when they are flown around the country in the dead of night? Guess what? It isn’t. 

Never mind the fact that the Border Patrol has had their hands tied, since Covid is no longer a thing, just let them on through!

Stellar analysis there! Stellar. Let’s add Politico to the list of “experts.” 

At the same time, advocates for ending Title 42 as well as the Biden administration must acknowledge that the overwhelming majority of people who are being expelled under the policy haven’t been families seeking asylum, but rather single adults fleeing extreme economic deprivation and in search of work. In February alone, more than 90 percent of Title 42 expulsions were single adults — the vast majority from Mexico. Mexican President Andrés Manuel López Obrador has acknowledged this reality and urged Biden several times last year to work with him to expand guest worker programs for the U.S., Mexico and the Northern Triangle. Though the Biden Administration recently suggested a willingness to do so, it has not yet provided any details.

Dude, for a supposed expert on illegal immigration, you totally biffed it here. Two things. A. How do we know that all those single adult males just want to come to the U.S. and work on farms/ranches/ski areas/resorts, etc? Answer: We don’t. B. Even Title 42 doesn’t allow people to just waltz into the U.S. w/o paperwork that truly indicates they are responsibly wanting to come into this country. Except that too many weren’t. Even as we saw well over 1 million flow over our border between January and March 31, 2022, 1.7 MILLION were turned back in 2020 and 2021. Those are the ones we KNOW of who got caught and turned back. How many were missed because our Border Patrol is stretched criminally thin? 

But again, this move is political on a number of fronts. One, future voters, hopefully Democrat. Two, cheap labor (IF they want to work and not run drugs or gangs), Three, the virus is no longer an issue so let’s just let everyone in!

The policy, known as the Title 42 authority, named for a 1944 public health law to prevent communicable disease, will end on paper, but it will not take effect until May 23, to allow border officials time to prepare. The Associated Press first reported the change earlier this week.

The policy was increasingly hard to justify scientifically as restrictions ended across the U.S.
The federal order says efforts by the Department of Homeland Security to provide vaccines to migrants at the border will step up in the next two months.

“After considering current public health conditions and an increased availability of tools to fight COVID-19 (such as highly effective vaccines and therapeutics), the CDC director has determined that an order suspending the right to introduce migrants into the United States is no longer necessary,” the CDC said in a statement.

Now I don’t know about you, our readers, but I believe that EVERY SINGLE PERSON who crosses our border and goes through the process should be vetted for a number of things including diseases and the Covid virus! This move implies that DHS may get around to implementing more health protocols …eventually.

A source within CBP who has worked in law enforcement for 20+ years –  who is familiar with the process – who agreed to speak on the condition of anonymity tells me DHS is bracing for as many as 500,000 migrants in the six weeks following Title 42 being lifted.

I’d have to say that half a million is a low estimate. But that’s ok, the Remain in Mexico plan is in place, right? Except it’s not working because the Biden Administration has gutted it. 

Meanwhile, very prominent Democrats have spoken out against the move.

Manchin called out the Administration given that Title 42 was supposed to be a barrier to help stop the spread of the Covid virus and other diseases. 

I can picture it now, Biden and his handlers will tell Sinema, Kelly, and Manchin that there’s no issue. Instead all is going according to plan. Which, evidently includes pulling VA personnel from the VA hospitals and sending them to the border to help. It also includes providing apps because illegals ALWAY arrive at the border with their Smart Phones!

The virus no longer exists on our border, yet it exists in New York City, since the children 5 years and younger are STILL required to be masked. 

Any bets on how this is Border Czar Kamala Harris’ solution to the problem she’s been avoiding?
