Nearly two years after the incident in which a political hack smeared Border Patrol agents by accusing them of whipping illegals, DHS Secretary Mayorkas finally has a meeting with those agents.

This is two years after he, Joe Biden, Kamala Harris, and most of the media vilified these agents. Here’s Border Czar Kamala opining about it. 

Joe Biden informed the world that there would be consequences. 

“I promise you those people will pay,” Biden said of the agents during a White House press conference on Friday morning. “There will be consequences … It’s dangerous, it’s wrong. It sends the wrong message around the world, it sends the wrong message at home. It’s simply not who we are.”

Oh yeah, about those consequences. Two years of those agents being dragged through the mud, while Biden and Mayorkas immigration policies have led to such a surge of illegals that CBP and ICE had to close vehicle checkpoints this week to move those agents in to help! 

There’s such a surge of illegals that New York’s brilliant idea for dealing with the influx is to kick seniors out of nursing homes and house illegals there for FREE.

“I don’t understand it at all. It’s not fair to anybody,” Annunziata said. “These migrants, they’re getting everything. They’re getting everything and I can’t get nothing for [Tammaro]. It angers me.”

She said she’s struggled to get help for her father. His insurance rejected any long-term request for care.

“I can’t even get him an aide. I only could get him an aide for 30 days and then they cancel it,” Annunziata told Fox News. “So what, he has to pay for it then?”

Well, using our tax dollars isn’t really free, but I digress. We have a huge national security problem with this giant surge of illegal immigration that Joe Biden is the author of.

Border Patrol chiefs of nine sectors along the US-Mexico frontier have warned a House committee about the “unprecedented” number of illegal migrant crossings that occurred in 2023 — and the threat it presents to the safety of both American citizens and the migrants themselves.

Depositions taken by the House Homeland Security Committee show the veteran officials differed in their assessment of the causes of the historic border surge — but agreed both on the humanitarian dangers and national security concerns, according to transcripts of their remarks reviewed by The Post.

So the timing is interesting when, suddenly, two years after the fact, Mayorkas goes to the border to specifically to meet with those agents. 

Keep in mind, the investigation concluded with findings of …nothing.

A lengthy CBP investigation would ultimately confirm that there were no whips and no whipping, although it would fault the agents for allegedly using “denigrating and offensive” language against migrants regarding national origin and gender, and of having maneuvered a horse around a child in an “unsafe manner.” Agents were also said to have used “unnecessary use of force” to drive the migrants back.

Nothing happened other than agents using bad words and intimidating people to get them to go back across the river. 

So, how did the meeting go?

Wait, WHAT?? No apology for throwing those agents under the bus and running them over multiple times? No apologies for refusing to stand up for the agents? WOW. 

I mean, at least the agents got to vent. I guess that’s something at least. Given what our Border Patrol agents are dealing with every damned day …

Keep in mind that there have been over 200 illegals from Middle Eastern countries apprehended who are on terrorist watch lists. How many others have been missed? Furthermore, we are looking at close to 300,000 “gotaways” that CBP KNOWS of. How many more snuck through? We have no idea. NONE.  

The very LEAST Mayorkas could’ve done is apologized for throwing them under the bus. But no, he’s too arrogant to do that.
