Joe Biden and his administration talk a big game. Their actions don’t follow it up. Our enemies are testing us in increasingly provocative ways, and the Biden Team, from the top down, seemingly has zero clue of how to respond.
I’m going to keep saying it again and again – we are going to continue to reap the whirlwind of Afghanistan and the disaster of abandoning the entire country to the barbaric Taliban for years to come. That entire debacle showed just how weak Joe Biden truly was, and as a result of showing weakness of the world stage, all the bad guys now feel empowered to test the will of the current administration themselves.
The most obvious example recently has been China and their spy balloon, and their obvious aggression toward Taiwan, but North Korea has decided to join in on the action again. After all, what’s the fun of having intercontinental ballistic missiles and short-range missiles if you can’t shoot them off? The ICBM was shot off on Saturday toward Japan, with the shorter missiles being fired early Monday morning (local time).
South Korea’s military said it detected the two missile launches from a western coastal town, just north of Pyongyang, the North Korean capital, on Monday morning. Japan said both missiles landed in the waters outside of the Japanese exclusive economic zone between the Korean Peninsula and Japan and that no damage involving aircraft and vessels in the area was reported.”
According to Japanese and South Korean assessments, the North Korean missiles flew at a maximum altitude of 50-100 kilometers (30-60 miles) and a distance of 340-400 kilometers (210-250 miles).”
“The frequency of using the Pacific as our firing range depends upon the U.S. forces’ action character,” Kim Yo Jong, the powerful sister of North Korean leader Kim Jong Un, said in a statement carried by state media. “We are well aware of the movement of U.S. forces’ strategic strike means, (which are) recently getting brisk around the Korean Peninsula.”
Calling the United States “the worst maniacs,” she threatened to take unspecified “corresponding counteraction” in response to the future moves by the U.S. military.”
North Korea’s state media said Sunday the ICBM test was meant to further bolster its “fatal” nuclear attack capacity and verify the weapon’s reliability and the combat readiness of the country’s nuclear force. In her earlier statement Sunday, Kim Yo Jong threatened to take additional powerful steps over upcoming military drills between the United States and South Korea.”
Great, the ice queen of North Korea has entered the chat. Honestly, I’m more concerned about Kim Yo Jong’s increasing influence over her brother Kim Jong Un, because I think she is the more fanatical and dangerous of the two. The military exercises between South Korea and the United States are continuing, but is the best policy to simply ignore North Korea’s continued aggression until they actually hit something? You can debate Donald Trump’s approach to Kim Jong Un, but I’m not sure the Biden approach of minimal engagement has produced any better results. We are not dealing with rational actors in North Korea, and the Biden administration is making the mistake of presuming that North Korea actually wants peace. Considering all that we know and have seen, that is a sucker’s bet.
Not to be outdone by North Korea, the news has also broken that the IAEA says that nuclear inspectors in Iran have discovered uranium that has been enriched to 84 percent purity. In other words, they are inching ever closer to nuclear-grade uranium.
Bloomberg first reported that The International Atomic Energy Agency (IAEA) is investigating how Iran managed to enrich uranium to 84 percent, which the report says is the highest level found by inspectors to date. To create a nuclear weapon, uranium must be enriched to at least 90 percent.”
A senior European diplomat told The Wall Street Journal that if the reports were confirmed, it would be a “grave development.”
“We are in close contact with our partners following reports that Iran may have enriched uranium to levels over 80 percent,” the diplomat said to The Wall Street Journal. “If confirmed this would be an unprecedented and extremely grave development.”
According to Bloomberg, a nuclear official in Iran denied the claim that the country had enriched uranium above 60 percent purity “so far,” and said that the claim was “a smear and a distortion of the fact.”
Remember, Team Biden has been hoping and wishing for years now that Iran would want to strike another deal, especially after the last one worked out so well for Iran (thanks, Obama!). Remember, the Obama Iran Deal was only meant to SLOW the Iranians from getting a nuclear weapon, not stop them. It was a terrible idea from the get-go, and Trump was right to put an end to the charade.
The discovery of highly enriched uranium in Iran should be a reminder to the Biden administration that they SHOULD have been more vocal with their support of the protests within Iran over the death of Mahsa Amini and the executions that have followed the protests. Ayatollah Ali Khamenei has apparently pronounced a “general amnesty,” but it seems that people aren’t being released. Shocking. And Team Biden had a sad that they couldn’t get these guys to agree to delay their nuclear ambitions.
And we expect other countries to take us seriously when the Biden administration employs idiots like Karen Decker.

We are run by complete idiots who are more concerned about the number of likes they get on Twitter than actually thinking about the safety and security of the country. And Joe Biden is supposed to be the guy in charge, the place where the buck stops, and all that. Does anyone feel particularly confident about Biden’s ability to handle a massive crisis right now? He couldn’t even adequately deal with China’s Goodyear blimp that they sent for a tour of the United States!
If we manage to get through the 2024 election without China invading or blockading Taiwan, North Korea sending a missile into South Korea or Japan, and/or Iran detonating a nuclear bomb, then we should consider ourselves blessed. But I doubt we will be so fortunate.

We have people in this administration who despise this country and think we need to be taken down hard. And they believe that nothing bad will happen if they get their wish.
” the place where the buck stops, “.. Let’s be honest here, Biden has no damn idea what the buck is (probably thinks you’re talking about a deer), and sure as hell has no idea where it stops…
Yesterday I had lunch with a woman who grew up in Poland behind the iron curtain.
In the 80s, they spent an entire year without anything in the stores…they survived by barter. For an entire year.
Her kids go to UC at Boulder. This traditionally anti-authoritarian school, under covid, practiced radical levels of compliance. They couldn’t comply with the rules hard enough.
She asked her daughter, provocatively, “do you need your mother to come protest for you?!?”
Something has happened.
Almost feels like an experiment to see how far the population can go.
Typical Biden voter:
Q. Are you better off than you were in 2021 when Joe took office?
A. No.
Q. Has Joe changed course to fix that problem?
A. No.
Q. Would you vote for Joe again in 2024?
A. Yes.
I don’t see this changing. It is good to hopeful for 2024 I suppose.
