Crime has been on the rise in our cities. The left likes to blame it on “gun violence” while focusing on the weapon and not the people who are in possession of the weapon. The city of Oakland, California, is no exception.

The “Stand Up for a Safe Oakland” rally, organized by the Oakland Police Department, happened yesterday and drew about 200 families. According to this, 71 homicides happened on the streets of Oakland this year alone.

Just a few weeks ago, the Oakland City Council approved a budget to strip $17.4 million in funding from the Oakland Police Department and direct the money toward other programs, like social services. Keep in mind, the Oakland City Council consists of Democrats but those facts do not matter to one White House Press Secretary, Jen Psaki.

But what reporter, Lee Fang, saw on the streets of Oakland yesterday he describes in one word-“surreal”. While Black families in Oakland rallied together with the police, while mothers on stage told their stories through tears about their murdered children, there stood the white AntiFa protestors, heckling in the background.

Not sure what is so “surreal” about this. A bunch of purple-headed white guys who live in mom’s basement coming out with signs that read “f-ck the police” heckling a Black woman who lost her son? A bunch of spoiled, little white kids from the suburbs of gated communities and the liberal bubbles of universities heckling a (mostly) black community pushing for change in their city policies to better the lives of their own?

Oh, but how can we assume it’s AntiFa? This was one question from the peanut gallery in the Twitterverse. C’mon, man. If it looks like a duck, swims like a duck, and quacks like a duck, then it probably is a duck.

Quack, quack. Or should we say, cluck, cluck because these chicken sh*ts will not remove their masks. But hey, no insults to the poor ducks or chickens here.

If you’re a white person going into a black community shouting things like “pigs in a blanket, fry ’em like bacon”, you are part of the problem.

If you are a white person setting fire to cars and destroying property in a predominantly black neighborhood, you are part of the problem.

If you are a white person who claims Black Lives Matter while arguing with a person of color who agrees with police presence in their community, disagreeing about police presence in their community, you are the problem.

If you are a white person and think the above actions are “peacefully expressing your opinion”, you, again, are part of the problem.

Go back to mom’s basement and your video games, little Easter-egg-color-haired cretins. I’ve heard through the grapevine that Call of Duty Warzone has some new load outs for weapons.

Oakland, California, a city run and ruined by Democrats for years, decided to cut the police budget by $18 million while crime is spiraling out of control. Shootings in Oakland have increased by 70 percent, homicides by 90 percent and carjackings by 88 percent. Burglaries, rapes, and other crimes have also significantly increased.

Anyone who doesn’t see a connection between cutting police budgets and rising crime is smoking dope, which by the way is becoming legal in more states.

Lee Fang of The Intercept went on to tweet about the demeanor of the white anti-police protestors.

A lot of the anti-violence activists from East Oakland said they were disappointed in the white anti-police antifa protesters, said they seemed close minded and disconnected from the actual violence in the city.”-Lee Fang

Close-minded and disconnected. You think, Lee?

They are close-minded and disconnected because they are being spoon-fed lies from our media and our leaders. These governors in liberal states and mayors in liberal cities are twisting the narrative and media lap dogs are all over them. Our White House PRESS SECRETARY drives this narrative and did so, bigly last week. The tragic loss of lives from homicides in Oakland, California is the epidemic that is plaguing several liberal states and municipalities. Look no further than Portland Oregon, Seattle, Washington, New York and Chicago for these illustrations of violent crime on the rise.

It’s gun violence, they say. It’s the Republicans, they say. It’s the police, they say. The lives lost in Oakland, New York, Chicago and many other cities are brought on by circumstances in desperate times. Our culture has been broken down to disrespect and disregard law and order. Those in charge are spreading fallacies of racial division and fanning its flames. Pile onto this a politicized virus and the trashing of a once great economy, the implementation of a new President with a crew full of radical ideas to dismantle America as we know it, Critical Race Theory in our workplaces and schools, rewriting of history and the English language, an utter and complete disregard for the traditional family unit and a slew of other social factors.

Yet, reporters want to call Black families uniting with police for safety in their communities “surreal”? This is not surreal. This has been going on for the better part of a year now. I say, good. I’m happy these families are pushing back and have had enough. It’s time the masks come off.
