The Missing Piece Of That Peaceful Transfer Of Power Question

The Missing Piece Of That Peaceful Transfer Of Power Question

There’s a missing piece to the “peaceful transfer of power” question that President Trump was asked yesterday. But you wouldn’t know that from the media and political pundit freakout. This from NBC News.

“President Donald Trump was asked Wednesday whether he would commit to a peaceful transfer of power should he lose this fall to Democratic presidential nominee Joe Biden. The president declined to do so.

“Well, we’re going to have to see what happens,” Trump said. “You know that I’ve been complaining very strongly about the ballots, and the ballots are a disaster.”

Pressed further, Trump said: “We’ll want to have — get rid of the ballots and you’ll have a very — we’ll have a very peaceful — there won’t be a transfer, frankly. There’ll be a continuation.””

And their report devolved into an examination of the mail-in ballot issue, the push by Democrats to go 100% all in on mail-in voting whether states are ready or not, and President Trump’s push-back on the security and efficacy of mail-in voting. Search Trump and peaceful transfer and you will see headline after headline sounding the alarm! ‘He’ll lose but Trump doesn’t plan to concede!’ ‘He’ll lose, but Trump supporters will tear the country down!’ ‘It’s true! He’ll rig the votes!’ And on and on and on.

Pundits sprang for their fainting couches.

Honey, we live in a Republic.

As  Mitt Romney, Liz Cheney, Marco Rubio, and many others on all sides of the political spectrum. Hot Air’s Allahpundit gloomily writes that we as a Republic are done.

“That’s correct. My earnest advice to anyone who’s not bound to stay put here in the U.S. because of family or employment ties from which they simply can’t extricate themselves is to think seriously about leaving. And I don’t mean “think seriously of leaving if Trump wins.” I mean think seriously of leaving, period. Because even if he loses by 250 electoral votes, more than 60 million people will have watched him say stuff like this for months, insisting repeatedly that any defeat can only be explained by cheating, and will vote. for. him. anyway.

There’s no coming all the way back from that, even though Trump will eventually leave the political scene one way or another. Anyone who’s willing to look the other way at what he says here is willing to look the other way at much worse, and that’s an enormous population. That’s the reason to leave.”

Well then Allahpundit, I presume you will be exiting this country by the end of October. Right? Right??

Let’s take a step back here and think things through for a minute.

A. Hillary still continues to whine and bitch about the fact that she should’ve won.

B. The media has been working overtime 24/7 to undermine every aspect of the Trump Administration. And what they can’t undermine, they ignore or bury because it doesn’t fit their narrative. Exhibit 1 is their silence on Biden’s putting a lid on his campaign for the NINTH time this month. Exhibit 2 is their all-in deflection of the report regarding Hunter Biden’s bribery, human trafficking, and Ukraine issues. Exhibit 3 is their hard work at showing riots as mostly nearly 100% peaceful protests.

Oh wait, you mean to tell me there was more to the question asked yesterday? Why yes, yes there was. Let’s roll tape starting at 30 minutes in shall we?

Wait a gosh darned minute! WHAT WAS THE QUESTION??!!

First all, the reporter asking that question is Brian Karem. You remember him, right? He’s the one who threw the screaming hissy fit in the Rose Garden and told everyone that conservatives are demon possessed. Nice guy he is.

But I digress. Look at the question again guys.

It’s one helluva leading question isn’t it? The presumption of the question is that Trump won’t concede if he loses in November. Will he concede if it’s a draw? And what the hell does Karem mean by draw? A tie in the popular vote (so likely not going to happen) or a tie in the Electoral vote? Again, not gonna happen.

Karem’s question was stupid. He knew it, but asked it anyway. And got EXACTLY the response plus narrative he wanted from the media, Democrats, pundits, and Republicans who should know better. The Republicans responding to this should’ve taken at least five minutes to step back and engage in critical thinking before responding to the media’s yells for comment.

President Trump trolled Karem and everyone else and now has people clutching pearls and the media working overtime to insist there is no problems with ballots ANYWHERE, even as the Democrats now signal that in-person voting is the best thing ever.

I’ll admit, I would’ve LMAO if President Trump had pushed back and answered Karem thusly: ‘I plan to win. If I do lose, I will gracefully allow the transfer to go through as our Constitution has laid out. Something the Obama Administration and Hillary didn’t do. As for a draw – what are the Vegas odds on that happening?’ 3-D Chess at it’s finest!

So yeah, everyone can stop freaking out about that peaceful transfer of power question now.

All of the “Trump will have to be dragged out of the WH” noise is pure BS.

We should expect not to stay up election night, because it is doubtful that we truly will know who won on that night. It is going to take weeks, and tons of electoral mess, before we know.

I hope that the Republicans are planning on challenging many of the illegally-elected Electors.

So Trump is supposed to peacefully transfer power if he wins? Is this reporter telegraphing that the Democrats intend to cheat?

I gave up on UselessPundit years ago, and have stopped reading Milquetoast Air altogether. It’s a garbage site nowadays.

Only one solution – Trump gets a huge victory.
So large that, even if every single “unsolicited” mail-in vote were to come in marked Biden,
    it would make no difference.
As gravy, let’s hope this would not only involve sweeping the Electoral College,
but also taking the ever-popular popular vote.
    Impossible? Maybe.
But I believe there’s a whole lot of people who are underestimating exactly how
“sick up and fed” the vast majority of Americans (of both parties) are with what’s been happening.
My money’s on Trump by an historic landslide…

The true “missing piece” ‘Of That Peaceful Transfer Of Power Question’, is the next RED / BLUE voting map, due out in early November, because there’s no appeasing those who are already owed some pelts.

Who’s to say that TRUMP’s crushing the everlivingshizzay out of this election (and he’s gonna) buys the evil POS (D) one wit of slack or one second of peace after the preponderance of all of their bullshit, and that meter’s still going around like a fan.

It might be that POTUS Trump’s second term is entirely consumed with trying to keep the Conservatives from hunting the satanic-communist (D), as those Conservatives might not be satiated any more easily than the Antifa/BLM/mfrs claim to be. Once that monster gets to eating, you better let it eat, and the evil (D), can thank Ohole for making NASA’s mission being more “inclusive” and ‘attractive’ and ‘supportive’ to muslims, than it was in helping to find a new place in the solar system for the evil (D) to hide.

And the rest of the world better stand-the-F-by, or we’ll be after them next.

    Gird yer F’n loins

Honey, we live in a Republic.
And she should know that, having been a Republican pundit for several years (before Trump broke her brain).

Allahpundit gloomily writes that we as a Republic are done.
Well, he might be right. But this part is just projection:
insisting repeatedly that any defeat can only be explained by cheating, and will vote. for. him. anyway

if President Trump had … answered Karem thusly
Yeah, but this one he screwed up. He did leave it out there inarticulately. But everyone makes mistakes once in a while.

This projection by the progs is crazy. As you mention, the last 4 years have been nothing but a drive to prevent a “peaceful transfer of power”. And, of course, a lot of this is battlefield prep for the cheating they will try on and after Nov 3 (and already with absentee ballots in PA). Yes, gird your f’in loins.

The aholepundit over at Tepid Air passed his sell-by date long ago. Nothing he has to say matters at all. I look at that sight maybe once every six or eight months. They’re slowly going the way of the fool at that other sight where the Johnson went crazy. Write them off–they’re simply irrelevant.

  • Gridlock says:

    Win he stays
    Lose he leaves
    Draw? WTF?!?

Note that the questioner talk about the ongoing political violence in his question. What does left wing political violence have to do with the peaceful transfer of power?

Trump needs to win in places like New Jersey. He needs to put this thing so far out of reach that the Democrats can’t hope to manufacture enough votes.

In an ordinary year, the Margin of Fraud is worth about a point and a half for the Democrats. So we have to win 51.5 to 48.5 just to win. This time it’s going to be worth about five points. We have to fight to win 55 to 45 across the board.

  • Rdm says:

Let’s be generous and say ‘draw’ means ‘’close contested election’. Let’s say like Bush Gore. So is he implying that if it’s close he should just give it to Biden and not fight for it?

  • Mike Constitution says:

President Trump is still waiting for the Democrats to concede the 2016 election.

  • ss396 says:

    “If I lose”????

When has a politician ever admitted the possibility of losing during the campaign? Why would Trump admit such a thing?
