The Liberals’ Terrible, Horrible, No Good, Very Bad Year
The Liberals’ Terrible, Horrible, No Good, Very Bad Year
I realize it’s only February, but the liberals have had quite the year already, and if January 2019 is any indication, the left has a tough few years ahead of it. They have shown their true colors in the past four weeks – those of hysterical, unhinged, baby-murdering, racist, achievement-hating bigots.
The Democrats not only shut down the government, holding hundreds of thousands of national security workers hostage and forcing them to work for IOUs, they still stubbornly refuse to even discuss a wall even as they admit better border security is needed. A barrier or improved security? Sure. But not a wall! Because in their puerile, unhinged minds, that would be giving in to the BADORANGEMAN!
Rep. Henry Cuellar (D-TX) says he wants local border patrol chiefs to weigh in on what they need to improve border security but suggests that he is not open to hearing about the need for a border wall pic.twitter.com/7oJDv32xzv

This month the left proceeded to work to destroy the lives of children – kids – with lies and calls for violence based on one tweet. And when the truth came out about Nathan Phillips’ lies and the Twitter account’s false, downright evil accusations, the left refused to give up its twisted narrative and subsequently lost some of its shrillest social justice voices – supposed “journalists” who used the false accusations against Nick Sandmann and the Covington kids to direct mob “justice” in their direction.
They have worked to destroy the dreams of a young immigrant from China – a place where freedoms are stifled and opportunities are few – because she had the unmitigated gall to write about slavery from her unique perspective, giving deranged, race-baiting grievance mongers chafed labia and prompting them to mob her until she withdrew her debut novel from publication and genuflected before their altars of social justice, begging for forgiveness.
They publicly support policies that punish success and denigrate achievement. They want to tax those who have worked their way to the top into poverty, redistributing their income to those who were too lazy or too incompetent to earn it themselves, and they desire to use government force to punish their achievement.
“Why don’t people ever tell billionaires who want to run for President that they need to ‘work their way up’ or that ‘maybe they should start with city council first?’” she tweeted.
They especially despise people like Schultz, who worked their way to the top from abject poverty. In people like Schultz people like Occasional-Cortex see their own failings. Schultz literally is a rags-to-riches sensation, while AOC is a brainless bimbo who used social media and the stupidity of economically illiterate voters to score a Congressional seat from which she can spew yet more economic illiteracy at her drooling followers, while teaching those sad, old Congressional representatives to dance and post it on Twitter.
The left also showed itself to be a bunch of malevolent bigots by refusing condemn the evil, anti-Semitism of Ilhan Omar and Rashida Tlaib, even as they screeched about the crass comments Rep. Steve King and condemned all the Americans who voted for him as odious racists but remained silent when Omar’s efforts to secure leniency for terrorist ISIS supporters became public.
They said nothing when video of Bernie Sanders shirtless and partying with communists – the ultimate, tyrannical, damnable cancer – even as he considers making another run for the White House.
They have shown themselves once again to be pernicious cowards, willing to silence speech that a few, shrill voices find objectionable, in hopes that these toxic, destructive, sub-human, infantile parasites won’t turn their bile onto them.
We believe in many of the things that Ben Shapiro speaks about and stands for, including his support for ideals that grow out of traditional Judeo-Christian values and his belief in a free market economy. Our decision to cancel Shapiro’s speaking engagement is not a reflection of his ideologies or the values he represents, but rather a desire to focus on opportunities that bring people together.
As a university, we encourage thoughtful discussions and rational dialogue in our classrooms about the issues affecting our society, and we encourage students to put greater emphasis on actions that produce positive change in our society. By working together, we have shown that real partnerships can create real programs that produce real results in our community. We hope it is a model that is emulated by others and builds strong communities where people can live and prosper in harmony, no matter their differences.
Based on the response we have received from some within the Grand Canyon community regarding the decision involving such high-profile speakers as Ben Shapiro, we have obviously disappointed and offended some of you. We know that if we had made a different decision, we would have disappointed and offended others within the same community. It was not our intent to disappoint or offend anyone. It was, rather, to use our position as a Christian university to bring unity to a community that sits amidst a country that is extremely divided and can’t seem to find a path forward toward unity.
And let’s not forget the latest dumpster fire in which the liberals have condemned the racist background of Virginia Governor Ralph Northam, while studiously ignoring the outcry his recent comments about murdering babies after they’re born caused (and indeed, drawing attention away from said comments with the manufactured outrage about Northam’s blackface).
So to recap so far this year, the left has the evil anti-Semites Ilhan Omar and Rashida Tlaib, the brainless derp machine of economic illiteracy Alexandria Ocasio-Cortez, the evil of Ralph Northam, and shamed journalists.
We, on the conservative side have passionate, eloquent, real-life superheroes like Nick Freitas.
So the left accused us of “manufacturing” outrage over their “abortion up to birth” bill… https://t.co/ZmL3I3bFio
