Early this morning in London, pedestrians were run over on Westminster Bridge and an officer near the entrance to Parliament was stabbed in what London police are calling a “terrorist incident.”
Incident in #Westminster: We are treating this as a terrorist incident until we know otherwise

The details of the attack are beginning to sound eerily like the Nice attack of last July, and I’m sure that it is no coincidence AT ALL that today is the 1 year anniversary since the Brussels attack. It means nothing. At all. Nothing to see here. Move along.
Or not.

Reports range between 8 to 12 pedestrians being run over on Westminster Bridge by an unknown assailant in a car, which jumped the curb deliberately to hit them.

Then the attacker, reportedly armed with a knife, stabbed a police officer on the Parliament grounds.

It appeared that the man was attacking a police officer, then advanced into New Palace Yard. Armed officers moved in quickly, and shot him.

The immediate danger is apparently over, but a good chunk of London’s tourist and government areas are shut down.

While we don’t have any information yet on who the assailant is, and no word on the attacker’s status other than he was shot, many other people are wounded.

Parliament went on lockdown, and Prime Minister Theresa May was secured.
Both the assailant and the officer he stabbed are listed as casualties, and the BBC is reporting that one woman has died, along with multiple others injured. Victory Girls will continue to monitor this story and update it as needed as new information emerges. Above all else, pray for the injured, and for their families.
UPDATE [11:35 am Pacific] Scotland Yard authorities confirm four people are dead, including a police officer and the assailant, and 20 others are injured.
Terrorist attack in London, rape of a 14 year-old in Maryland, terrorist attacks in France, rape of a 90 year-old in Germany, terrorist attacks in the U.S., assaults and rapes in Sweden …
As the victims, the deaths amount so does the condemnation of those leaders who permitted this vileness and evil to be visited upon us.
This may be coarse and primitive, yet it’s unfortunate we don’t live in a different, former era when such persons would meet a guillotine.
Footnote: London has a Muslim Mayor, Sadiq Khan. In September, he stated, “he believes the threat of terror attacks are “part and parcel of living in a big city.” Donald Trump, Jr. has tweeted about this: “You have to be kidding me?!”

Gee, there was some other leader who said we’d just have to live with it, or something……
