The #StrzokPageTexts Are A YUUGE Problem For The FBI And Mueller [VIDEO]

Amidst all the celebrations and teeth gnashing about the Moore/Jones Alabama kerfuffle, an interesting and disturbing bit of news hit the wires last night. Seems that Peter Strzok, a high ranking intelligence official, and his girlfriend Lisa Page, an attorney for the FBI, weren’t fans of Trump, At. All.

Hundreds of text messages released overnight between two FBI officials who worked on Robert Mueller’s Russia probe show the agents exchanging a steady stream of anti-Trump feelings – and even discussing how to “protect the country from that menace.”

Keep in mind that these exchanges took place in 2015 and 2016. Here’s just a sampling of the more than 10 thousand texts exchanged between the two.

As some have opined, this doesn’t seem to rise to the level of collusion or gotcha.

I completely disagree with Andrew on this.

There are multiple problems with the text exchanges between Strzok and Page.

  1. Both were married and NOT to each other
  2. Both were involved at the time in key investigations involving Hillary Clinton, Russia and more
  3. Both have/had pretty significant security clearances
  4. Keep in mind that, as Amanda points out, Strzok was the one who dumbed down the language regarding Hillary’s illicit server to ‘extremely careless’ instead of ‘grossly negligent’
  5. Their pro-Hillary bias is glaringly evident

Furthermore, as you read through the text messages, some of which can be found here and here, other problematic issues jump out.

Chiefly, their distinct hatred of all things Trump and Republican. That’s glaringly apparent throughout the text messages between the two of them. Secondly, Instapundit’s Glenn Reynolds reported this exchange yesterday.

Me:

I’m hearing from a source that Lisa Page was involved in approving Peter Strzok’s warrant requests to the FISC and possibly elsewhere. Can you confirm or deny if this was the case? And please tell me what her job title and function are in your office. Thanks.

Them (via spokesman Joshua Stueve):

Lisa Page, who was an attorney on detail to the Special Counsel’s office, returned to the FBI’s Office of the General Counsel in mid-July.

Me again:

Thank you but that doesn’t answer my question. What role did Lisa Page have in the handling of warrant applications, and in particular those involving Peter Strzok?

Them again:

I’ll decline to comment further.

Well alrighty then! Can we say … Tap Dance and SILENCE??!! Yes, indeed.

Sure Mueller fired Strzok this summer. Fired him and kept very, very quiet about it. Why? Because Strzok’s activities call into question the credibility of the investigation! Period. Full Stop.

Yet Rod Rosenstein, who worked as Mueller’s deputy at the FBI when Hillary spearheaded the sale of 20% of our uranium assets to Russia, stated today that Mueller is still credible and there isn’t any good cause for Mueller to be fired. I. Kid. You. Not.

Oh, really?? Seems like Rosenstein and Mueller want to ignore THIS exchange:

One text message that raises serious questions was sent from Page to Strzok:

  • “So look, you say we can text on that phone when we talk about Hillary because it can’t be traced.”

Why would either of them be concerned about their communications being traced if they did not have something to hide?

That is a VERY good question! Are they also ignoring THIS?

OOF. This is not good. In fact…

The texts show a very pro-Hillary stance. They show a distinct bias AGAINST Donald Trump.

Furthermore, given that BOTH were involved in the Russia collusion investigation and discussed the investigation into Hillary’s emails and server, both need to be answering to the authorities ASAP.

Mueller and the FBI are on the hot seat for this, as they should be. Sure, it’s ok to privately discuss issues, politics and political figures. However, the overt animus and bias shown in these texts, plus the commentary about insurance policies and hiding their discussions regarding Hillary, should send massive red flags flying.

The credibility of the Hillary investigation and Mueller’s Russia collusion investigation is now in the tank with the help of Peter Strzok and Lisa Page. The investigators need to be investigated and Mueller, plus Rosenstein, need to be FIRED.

    Two words—smoking gun.

This is the smoking gun of the “conspiracy” to get rid of Trump. In fact, this can be used as a basis of a criminal compliant against the FBI. I wonder why than Mueller decided to wrap things up yesterday.
