Just yesterday, a California school district was made to cough up $100,000 in damages to a parent who claimed her daughter was transitioned without her consent.

We know that this is a small step in the battle of trans ideology in our schools but we will take this. According to this, Jessica Konen said her 11-year-old daughter, Alicia, was secretly transitioned to a “boy” without her knowledge or consent. Take a look at this:

I tried not to snicker, but the teacher pictured in the clip looks exactly like the type who would host something like an “equality club”.

Equality, my foot. These individuals at the school obviously did not deem the parent (Jessica, in this case) was equal when it came to partnering with her with regard to her child’s educational experience. Nope. They went full-steam ahead when they smelled fresh meat-a new student, in a new school, at a very impressionable age. “Join The Equality Club”, they said. “It will be fun”, they said.

All was fun and games when two teachers (and a principal) encouraged Jessica’s middle-school daughter to change her name, pronouns and gender identity behind her mother’s back. I know, you want names and I’ve got ’em. Let’s make them famous, shall we? Enter Buena Vista Middle School staffers Lori(Bandana Chick) Caldeira and Kelly Baraki. They were the ones who took this young woman under their wings. Don’t worry, they said they know what they’re doing. They have done so much research during COVID lock-downs to include “stalking” their students while they were online:

When we were doing our virtual learning — we totally stalked what they were doing on Google, when they weren’t doing schoolwork. One of them was Googling ‘Trans Day of Visibility.’ And we’re like, ‘Check.’ We’re going to invite that kid when we get back on campus.”-Lori Caldeira

The “Equality Club” was interchangeably called the “UBU Club”. In truth, these two were at these shenanigans for a long time, speaking publicly about forming student Gay-Straight Alliances in schools. They told a room full of 40-plus attendees not to record them once. When parents approached the two teachers about their covert tactics, the teachers just told the parents that they did not start the conversation. Social media did. TikTok did. SnapChat did. Instagram did. Dylan Mulvaney did. They were “trying to answer the kids’ questions “as honestly as they could”.

Sure. Like when Jessica’s daughter asked the question, “can I use the restroom?”, the two brainiacs they left in charge to teach middle school and host secret after-school clubs pointed her to the boys’ room. From the complaint:

…teachers and administrators at A.G.’s middle school, along with the school itself, secretly convinced A.G.—who was 11 years old at the time—first, that she was bisexual and, later, that she was transgender—i.e., that her gender did not correspond with her biological sex. Despite the profound mental stress these actions inflicted on A.G., Defendants attempted to counsel A.G. themselves, without her mother’s involvement, instructing A.G. that she must not tell her mother, her closest confidant, about her new supposed gender identity.”-Libertycenter.org

So much for a parent’s right to…well, parent.

Spreckels Union School District did their own “third party investigation”. Of course, they found the two teachers and the principal did not “coach students on changing their gender identities”. But the same story from KSBW also mentions this:

Respondents implemented a policy at Buena Vista that circumvents parental notification and involvement in the critical decision regarding students’ gender identity and expression. Pursuant to this policy, Respondents concealed from Ms. Konen information regarding A.G.’s assertion of a new gender identity, different from that associated with her sex at birth, and expression of that new identity, including but not limited to her assumption of a new name, use of new pronouns, and use of unisex restrooms that were otherwise reserved for teachers.”-JESSICA KONEN and A.G., her minor child, adv. LORI CALDIERA; KELLY BARAKI; KATELYN PAGARAN; and SPRECKELS UNION SCHOOL DISTRICT

No, they did not coach but they may have groomed. What would have come next if the lawsuit didn’t? No doubt a Target chest-binder.

They need to understand their place, and they need to stay in their place. And schools nowadays, they’re awful. So, I’m going to fight this fight and keep fighting this fight.”-Jessica Konen

Konen and her daughter are in a better place and working together in keeping lines of communication open between the two of them. I say good for both of them. But the fight is far from over. The left loves a tired and weary parent who takes the path of least resistance.
