Inflation Will Take Biden Down, No Matter The Spin

The harsh reality is that the Biden presidency, at only 10 months in, has proved to be a catastrophic failure.

Readers of this blog knew it at the time of the 2020 election. It’s just taken a lot longer for everyone else to realize what we already knew. Afghanistan may have been the kickoff to the obvious cascade of failures – something so obviously horrible that not even the media could cover for the old man – but after the withdrawl was over, Team Biden was counting on taking a temporary hit and then allowing the public to do what we do best – forget.

That didn’t happen, because every disaster that follows just highlights the previous ones. While the public may care less about what happened in Afghanistan now, compared to the end of the summer, there is no denying that it was the first major red flag that the media highlighted. And now, after the elections in Virginia and New Jersey that sent shockwaves through the Democratic party, inflation will be the final nail in Biden’s presidency.

Why inflation? Because it is something that every single American must look at every single time they buy anything. Some may compensate by cutting out “luxury” and convenience items and not feel too much of a pinch. But the reality is that while media may mock the Texas family lamenting the rise in the price of milk, every normal person who does their own grocery shopping and looks hard at what their money can now buy, as compared to a year ago. They are listening to Biden and company say that inflation isn’t that bad and know it’s a load of bullshit. The price of nearly everything has gone up, and then to make matters worse, those more expensive items aren’t even on the shelves thanks to the broken supply chain.

The Biden administration knows that inflation is a problem for them, but after months of trying to spin it away, Jen Psaki (back from COVID quarantine) is now saying that it’s being used as a “political cudgel” to hurt Biden.

We’re in an inflationary spiral. The Biden administration insists that spending even MORE money via “Build Back Better” will end inflation. No one is buying that explanation, and the new polling data – from a Democrat-friendly polling outlet – must be setting off red alert klaxons all over the place for Democrats.

The Post-ABC poll also showcases Americans’ current pessimism: Despite a mix of economic signals — falling unemployment and rising prices — 70 percent rate the economy negatively, including 38 percent who say it is in “poor” condition. About half of Americans overall and political independents blame Biden for fast-rising inflation, and more than 6 in 10 Americans say he has not accomplished much after 10 months in office, including 71 percent of independents.”

Despite President Brandon’s condescending drivel about how Americans don’t understand how the supply chain works, or how his massive spending bill will just start printing money for everyone, the majority of Americans live in the real world, where food is costing more and the money isn’t stretching as far as it used to. After all their fanfare about how the Fourth of July cookout would be 16 cents cheaper this last year, the reality of Thanksgiving costing much more due to inflation should be the reality that the administration is looking to address.

But if you didn’t save up, that’s YOUR fault, says the media in the bubble who hasn’t shopped for their own food in years.

Following a report where (Stephanie Ruhle) admitted inflation was at a 30-year-high at 6.2 percent, there were fewer discounts on holiday shopping items, gas prices were up 60 percent, and home heating costs would see a roughly $500 increase, Ruhle went off on those who were concerned about making ends meet.”

“And the dirty little secret here, Willie [Geist], while nobody likes to pay more, on average we have the money to do so,” she declared. And Ruhle’s ranting was prefaced by her suggestion that she needed “put this in perspective.”

According to her, “Household savings hit a record high over the pandemic. We didn’t have anywhere to go out and spend. And as we said a moment ago, we’re expecting retail sales this holiday season to break records.”

Plus, Ruhle argued, your home value increased and if you have kids, you’re getting a child tax credit check. WHAT MORE DO YOU PEOPLE WANT? is the question from the Democrat media.

The tone deaf reality is that many people lost jobs when the pandemic started, and families have lived with online school and extremely destabilized child care situations. The fallout that will happen when those parents who have been spending those advances on the child tax credit suddenly get nothing back when they file their tax returns next year – or worse, end up owing money back that has already been spent – it will be a wave of political rage. I predict that this could be even worse than what the Biden administration thinks they are seeing now. This was never free money, but that’s how the Democrats have talked it up. This was merely an advance on the credit that you could get – and you may owe back in April.

A tax bill in April for money the government advanced to you, on top of inflation that shows no signs of slowing down and a brittle supply chain? If the media is concerned that the Republicans are going to use this against Biden, oh boy – you ain’t seen NOTHING yet. People vote for two things – their wallets and their children. Republicans in Virginia have already showed how to win on the latter issue. I am predicting a bloodbath in the midterms over the former.
