It’s 2020. We have seen our President deal with a ridiculous impeachment circus act and a politicized pandemic. Why in the bloody hell would we expect the 2020 election to be NORMAL?

CBS News projects Biden currently has 253 electoral votes — 17 short of the 270 he needs to win. If Biden wins Pennsylvania, which has 20 electoral votes, that would bring him to 273. Georgia, which has 16 electoral votes, would bring his total to 269. Biden is also likely to win Arizona and Nevada.”-CBS News

CNN’s headlines read, Biden Closes in On 270″. Oh, they wish.

We go into the weekend without voting totals from Georgia, Pennsylvania, Nevada, Alabama and Arizona. There are Sharpies in Arizona. Shady (no pun intended) practices at Michigan ballot counts. And reports of Biden “inching ahead” in Georgia. Enter Pennsylvania, where Supreme Court Justice Samuel Alito has ordered all county boards in Pennsylvania to segregate ballots received after Election Day and said that if the ballots are counted, they be counted separately.

All county boards of election are hereby ordered, pending further order of the Court, to comply with the following guidance provided by the Secretary of the Commonwealth on October 28 and November 1, namely, (1) that all ballots received by mail after 8:00 p.m. on November 3 be segregated and kept ‘in a secure, safe and sealed container separate from other voted ballots,’ and (2) that all such ballots, if counted, be counted separately.”-Supreme Court Justice Samuel Alito

A little background on this story:

It is reported that Joe Biden is ahead in the election, and in the state of Pennsylvania, by more than 14,500 votes.

All of this while President Trump urged hopeful, Joe Biden, who saw a miraculous lead in the states of Michigan, Georgia and Pennsylvania in the days after the evening of election, to “not claim the presidency yet“.

Are you kidding? C’mon, man!

And the news outlets teased a Biden appearance. Biden is on the cusp of winning The White House, Politico says. They said yesterday that Joe Biden is expected to come out and speak for a “prime time address“. Several news outlets heralded this to the hopeless masses. ABC News at 1:40pm. The Los Angeles Times said he was poised to address the nation last night. Al Jazeera also said Biden would make an appearance.

As of 7:14 Pacific, 10:14 Eastern, this did not happen. Did Jill give him a cup of hot cocoa with a shot of Bailey’s before he fell asleep? Was it past Joe’s bedtime?

Wait a minute-at almost 11pm Eastern, Joe shows up to the podium-awaiting eager voters who waited almost three hours to hear him speak some word salad, something about losing 200K a day to COVID, counting all votes (ahem) and that we are Americans, not enemies. This is the man that is getting a sudden surge of support?

Democracy is sometimes messy, so sometimes it requires a little patience.

But that patience has been rewarded now for more than 240 years with a system of governance that has been the envy of the world.

And the beat goes on according to CNN as the headlines keep rolling in:

The Allegheny County executive estimates another release of ballots, likely in the range of 10:30 p.m. to 11:30 p.m. ET. which will be the last release of the night and that staffers will not be counting overnight.The ballots will be from a batch of court-challenged, misprinted ballots that previously had been set aside for review. The county has not announced how many votes are expected to be added to the count in this release.

Let’s guess that if these votes are counted, they are indeed for Biden. Surprised that these election ballots come from a largely BLUE county in Pennsylvania? We’re shocked, I tell you. You know what’s messy? Mail-in ballots trickling in willy-nilly. The fact that we cannot get our crap together enough to provide accurate counts of votes and ballots in the most important election of our nation. The fact that our news outlets and liberals alike have yammered on for years after the 2016 election about how our election process was flawed and illegitimate and hacked by the Russians but now, choose to be patient and calm and to trust the “messy” process.

And lo and behold, the left shows off their hypocrisy once again. We will wait to see what the Supreme Court ballot segregation brings.
