Covid Grinches Out to Wreck Your Christmas

Christmas is only one week away, but Covid Grinches are out in force to make sure that no one has a Merry Christmas this year. Unless you’re a member of the media or political elite, of course.

Let’s look at the Grinches who are trying to ruin our holidays.

Sixth Circuit Grinches Bring Back OSHA Mandate

Do you work for a large business? Did you breathe a sigh of relief when the the Fifth Circuit Court of Appeals struck down Biden’s vaccine mandate? Well, I hate to break it to you, but the Sixth Circuit Court of Appeals just overturned the Fifth Circuit. So now the Occupational Safety and Health Administration can force businesses of 100 or more employees to issue vaccine orders. It’s either get the shot or face weekly testing with the swab up your nose.

As Judge Jane B. Stranch wrote:

“OSHA explains why the mechanics of Covid-19 transmission make our traditional workplaces ripe for the spread of the disease, putting workers at heightened risk of contracting it.”

Why now? Because of the “possibility of new variants” which “has borne out with the Omicron variant.”

Expect this to go to the Supreme Court, where it’s a crap shoot as to how some of our “conservative” justices will rule.

Grinches Cancel the Radio City Rockettes

The Radio City Rockettes have long been a staple of the New York City holiday season. But not this year. The show’s producers not only cancelled all four of their performances on Friday, but they have nixed the entire season’s run.

The show, entitled “Christmas Spectacular Starring the Radio City Rockettes,” was supposed to have held multiple performances each day until January 2. But they didn’t even make it to Christmas, or even to the time when school kids have their break.

That’s because many of the cast and crew members have gotten . . . you guessed it. . . . Covid. Not only that, but breakthrough Covid — what Fauci and Co. said you weren’t going to develop if you had gotten your vaccines, right?

The show said in a statement:

“We regret that we are unable to continue the ‘Christmas Spectacular’ this season. We had hoped we could make it through the season and are honored to have hosted hundreds of thousands of fans at more than 100 shows over the last seven weeks.”

And a Merry Christmas to you, too.

School Shutdowns are Baaaack. . . .

Parents in Prince George’s County in Maryland won’t be able to shuffle their crumb-crunchers back to school after Christmas break. No, they’ll have them around for a while longer. The county has become the first major school system in the nation to return to remote “learning” (if you can call it that). Schools will be shut down for the final four days before break, and then for two weeks into the new year. Unless, of course, the union decides to extend closures even longer, but I digress.

Monica Goldson, CEO of the district, said in a statement that they have to protect the educators from Delta. And Omicron of course.

“Educators, administrators and support staff must be able to deliver in-person instruction and other activities in conditions that prioritize their own health, as well as the well-being of the school community.”

Because it causes anxiety!

“The increased positivity rates have significantly challenged the ability to do so, causing anxiety among many school communities and disruption to the school day.”

Never mind that schools do not contribute to massive spikes in transmission. Educator Grinches cannot come in contact with kids and all their snot and sneezes. Forget that two-thirds of kids from Prince George’s County are low income, and 90% are Black and Hispanic. Or that school shutdowns can doom them to even greater risk of future poverty. Authorities must protect the union members “educators” at all costs.

Panic Porn at the New York Times

There are few Grinches who want to spoil your Christmas as fervently as the New York Times. On Friday, the Grey Lady published a guide to Omicron in its daily “Coronavirus Briefing.” In their guide they pile on the panic porn with nuggets like this:

“That, coupled with its breakneck speed, means that infections in vaccinated people will most likely become increasingly common in the coming weeks. The holidays may supercharge this trend.”

Plus, they add that Omicron is “better at side-stepping” vaccine protections. And they urge you to “think about priorities a little more.” You know, like maybe cancel that big Christmas gathering.

But if you really want to have your family together, the NYT offers these tips:

  • Ask everyone to get vaccinated;
  • But wait! There’s more! Have everyone take a rapid test a few hours before celebrations begin;
  • Tell your guests not to socialize before your big Christmas party. So no Girls Night Out, apparently;
  • Make sure you have good ventilation. Open your damned windows! I don’t care if it’s freezing!
  • Keep a bunch of home Covid tests around. Along with your piles of masks, of course.

I don’t know about you, but that ain’t happening at my house.

Grinches at Daily Beast Want to Destroy Greg Gutfeld

You know the real reason why liberal media want to annihilate Gutfeld: it’s because his late night show “Gutfeld!” is nuking the other hosts in ratings. So on Friday the Daily Beast accused him of telling viewers on the Fox News program “The Five” to not get boosted for Covid.

According to the Beast:

“But Fox News viewers got a very different message when they tuned in to The Five on Friday afternoon. According to the channel’s self-described comedy host, you’re better off with “nature’s vaccination.”

Here’s a video of what Gutfeld really said, which was not telling viewers to avoid boosters. Instead, he considered the idea that natural immunity from the more mild Omicron could provide more immunity than a booster vaccine.

And speaking of natural immunity, some good news on breakthrough Covid cases came out on Friday. The Grinches didn’t cover it much, however. It doesn’t fit their narrative.

Breakthrough Covid Infections May Provide Supercharged Immunity

A small study from the Oregon Health and Science University School of Medicine showed that breakthrough Covid infections in people who had the Pfizer-BioNTech vaccines may provide massive immunity. How big? Against the original SARS-CoV-2 strain, blood serum from breakthrough cases was 950% more potent. And against the Delta variant, such serum was 1021% more potent.

As Dr. Marcel Curlin, associate professor of medicine at OHSU said:

“What we’re looking at is the exceptional combination of vaccination plus infection.”

I almost did a happy dance when read that news. That’s because I had breakthrough Covid in October, as did my husband. We both had the Pfizer vaccines, too. So neither of us will be running out to get our boosters anytime soon.

But that doesn’t fit the narrative the media want you do hear, does it? They’re pushing boosters. They also want us to remain in a state of fear and panic, so that Joe Biden and his shills can tell us how to run our lives.

Screw the Grinches. Enjoy your holidays. Christmas is my favorite time of year, and I plan to make the most of the season.
