We The People Are America’s Heroes

Who are America’s heroes? WE THE PEOPLE.

American heroes are the theme for this third night of the RNC National Convention. I’m not just talking about those amazing and worthy Medal of Honor recipients and military men and women who’ve served and bled for our country. No, I’m talking about you and I. Americans who are living our lives, doing the very best we can to live, contribute to our communities, lend a helping hand to those who need it, and stand up for our enduring values of Life, Liberty, and Freedom.

South Dakota Governor Kristi Noem clearly pointed out what government BY AND FOR the people means.

Governor Noem reminds us that we live in a land of equality, opportunity and FREEDOM. James Madison, the author of our Constitution, clearly designed our form of government to be one ruled not by government, but by US. American citizens. The government’s power is limited because of the brilliance of our Constitution, instead, the power rests with US. You and I.

“At times, our country has struggled to live up to our founding principles. Another great American, Abraham Lincoln, knew that struggle better than anybody,” Noem said.

“When he was just 28 years old, Honest Abe saw wild and furious passions, ‘worse than savage mobs,’ he said, taking the place of reasoned judgment. He was alarmed by the increasing disregard for the rule of law throughout the country.”

Noem said that Lincoln, witnessing the struggle over slavery, was concerned about people who had “their property destroyed, their families attacked, and their lives threatened or even taken away. These good people were becoming tired of, and disgusted with, a government that offered them no protection.”

“Sound familiar?” she added.

“It took 244 years to build this great nation — flaws and all — but we stand to lose it in a tiny fraction of that time if we continue down the path taken by the Democrats and their radical supporters,” said Noem.”

Our freedoms are at stake with this election. Do we step aside or do we stand up for our Freedoms and values?

Tennessee Senator Marsha Blackburn took the theme of American heroes and courage even further. She bluntly pointed out that the Democrats want to cancel our heroes. Which heroes? Our law enforcement and military.

“But tonight, I want to talk to you about another kind of hero.

The kind Democrats don’t recognize, because they don’t fit into their narrative.

I’m talking about the heroes of our law enforcement and armed services.

Leftists try to turn them into villains. They try to “cancel” them.

But I’m here to tell you that these heroes can’t be cancelled.”

Congressman Dan Crenshaw, a hero in his own right after years of service in our military points out that heroes are those who build, not tear down. Heroes are full of grace, not outrage.

As Governor Noem said, “history has chosen heroes for the time in which they lived.” To her, the heroes are you and I. We the average ordinary American who has and is persevering in the face of adversity, and refuses to be canceled because the Democrats tell us we should be.

Let us be heroes for this Republic and continue to work to preserve, protect, and defend the Constitutional Freedoms we hold so dear.

    Great post Nina!

as to “I’m talking about the heroes of our law enforcement and armed services.” please also note that the insurrectionists (what they really are, rioters doesn’t quite cover it) burned a fire engine in Kenosha… Any of the leftist trolls here, please explain to me how this makes anything better… It’s past time for each fire unit in these demonrat shitholes to have a locked and loaded NG soldier on board, with ROE that lets them engage with deadly force ANYONE who attacks the firefighters or apparatus!
