The hysteria decrying HCQ (hydroxychloroquine) as snake oil!!! or killer drug!!! is still the dominate narrative of the Left and its PR machine aka mainstream media. The latest is the shrieking over Dr. Harvey Risch, professor of epidemiology in the Department of Epidemiology and Public Health at the Yale School of Public Health. In an eye-opening interview, he lays out the case for HCQ and points out that Dr. Fauci’s feet of clay goes back to 1987 with AIDS patients.

Let’s note a couple of very important things. Near the beginning, Mark Levin quotes from Steven Hatfill, virologist, writing in Real Clear Politics.

There are now 53 studies that show positive results of hydroxychloroquine in COVID infections. There are 14 global studies that show neutral or negative results — and 10 of them were of patients in very late stages of COVID-19, where no antiviral drug can be expected to have much effect. Of the remaining four studies, two come from the same University of Minnesota author. The other two are from the faulty Brazil paper, which should be retracted, and the fake Lancet paper, which was.

In other words, the science is showing overwhelming evidence that HCQ is an effective antiviral when given early. 53 to 1. (Note: I covered the fraudulent Lancet paper just two months ago.)

Not just that, but Hatfill further offers evidence that countries with aggressive, out-patient use of HCQ have much lower death rates than the UK or US.

And if you don’t accept Hatfill’s chart, go ahead and check the stats on Worldometer. Deaths per million for USA = 553. Deaths per million for India = 44.

What is going on here? Why are Leftwing sites licking Fauci’s ankles while attacking Dr. Risch and falsely stating

Berman went 11 rounds with Dr. Risch on Monday over the drug that President Donald Trump has been promoting for months, but which has not been proven effective and may be harmful in some cases.

Fifty-three studies to one, assholes. Fifty-three studies to one.

And if you truly watched the video, let me point out at the 12:50 mark where Dr. Risch drops a bombshell. We’ve been here before with St. Fauci. Specifically in 1987 when he dismissed allowing the use of the a generic antibiotic, bactrim, in AIDS patients in NY City who were dying of pneumocystis pneumonia. Bactrim was showing great promise in preventing death in these patients.

… [AIDS] activists obtained a meeting with Dr. Fauci and 15 of his selected scientists at FDA, at NIH, and asked Dr. Fauci just to make guidelines to physicians that they could consider using bactrim to treat, preemptively, AIDS people so they wouldn’t die of this pneumonia. Dr. Fauci refused. He said ‘I want randomized, controlled – blinded controlled trial evidence. That’s my gold standard. That or nothing.’

The activists left. The NIH did not fund any randomized trials. They raised money themselves from their own AIDS patients to collect the data to do a randomized trial. It took them two years. They came back to Dr. Fauci — during those two years the FDA approved AZT as a treatment for AIDS. AZT works but not completely. It needs other medications as well. And during the two years it took them to get this data to come back to Dr. Fauci to support using bactrim 17,000 people with AIDS died because of Dr. Fauci’s insistence on NOT allowing even a statement supporting consideration of the use.

Dr. Fauci would rather people die than allow them to try. Any wonder why this established FDA hubris lead to President Trump’s signing of the Right to Try legislation?

What you witness from the Left isn’t science but a revival of Soviet Lysenkosim. Because of Trofim Denisovich Lysenko’s assertion that that all science is class-oriented in nature he became a favored pet of Joseph Stalin and Lysenko’s pseudo-science became the politically approved “science” allowed. And when the Soviet’s engaged in cancel culture they didn’t kid around.

From 1934 to 1940, under Lysenko’s admonitions and with Stalin’s approval, many geneticists were executed (including Isaak Agol, Solomon Levit, Grigorii Levitskii, Georgii Karpechenko and Georgii Nadson) or sent to labor camps. The famous Soviet geneticist and president of the Agriculture Academy, Nikolai Vavilov, was arrested in 1940 and died in prison in 1943.

As Dennis Prager is wont to say, “Truth is not a Leftwing value.” So tell me, how many lives have been lost to St. Fauci’s belief in his own sycophantic press and his Lysenkoist-lite attitude towards HCQ?
