10 Yr Old Rape Victim Abortion Case Is Essentially A Hoax

It seems case of the 10 yr old rape victim is an outright hoax. Per the Ohio Attorney General, there’s not even a “whisper” of the case among local and state law enforcement.

Ohio’s attorney general said Monday that his office had heard “not a whisper” about the reported case of a 10-year-old girl who was raped and had to travel out of state to receive an abortion due to Ohio’s so-called “trigger” law — a viral story that was cited by President Biden last week.

“We have a de-centralized law enforcement system in Ohio, but we have regular contact with prosecutors and local police and sheriffs.” Dave Yost told Fox News’ “Jesse Watters Primetime”. “Not a whisper anywhere.”

Yost then noted that his office runs the Buckeye State’s crime lab, and added: “Any case like this, you’re going to have a rape kit, you’re going to have biological evidence, and you would be looking for DNA analysis, which we do most of the DNA analysis in Ohio. There is no case request for analysis that looks anything like this.”

“I know our prosecutors and cops in this state,” Yost went on. “There’s not one of them that wouldn’t be turning over every rock in their jurisdiction if they had the slightest hint that this occurred there.”

As I noted here, just after the story broke, the focus was on the 10 yr old being unable to get an abortion, yet no one was asking about the actual background of the case nor seemingly wanting to find out WHO reported this, or who the criminal was that raped the child.

Well, PJ Media’s Megan Fox has spent multiple days digging into the supposed case. She’s found credible info showing this entire story is a hoax.

The abortion doctor is an activist who has a very sketchy track record and has been in trouble with the law for not complying with mandated reporting in instances like this.

The Indianapolis Star has gone radio silent and is refusing to provide their source material for this story, that went viral around the world.

This is the same abortion doc who sued Indiana in 2019 as she wanted full authority and zero checks and balances to perform abortions, including in the 2nd trimester, as she wished. With Dobbs vs Jackson, her case hit the skids. And very soon thereafter, this story about a 10 yr old rape victim from Ohio appeared in the media.

Notice that the media doesn’t ask Bernard to verify the facts of the story. Notice that she’s gone radio silent and will provide zero verification as to if the story is valid or not.

But the damage was done. The Ohio governor ended up looking like an idiot, people such as Governor Kristi Noem were hammered in the media, and the narrative gained speed.

Until folks such as Megan Fox started digging into the story and asking very uncomfortable questions. Which led to Glenn Kessler of the Washington Post to run a half-assed tap dance fact check.

The only source cited for the anecdote was Bernard. She’s on the record, but there is no indication that the newspaper made other attempts to confirm her account. The story’s lead reporter, Shari Rudavsky, did not respond to a query asking whether additional sourcing was obtained. A Gannett spokeswoman provided a comment from Bro Krift, the newspaper’s executive editor: “The facts and sourcing about people crossing state lines into Indiana, including the 10-year-old girl, for abortions are clear. We have no additional comment at this time.”

This is a very difficult story to check. Bernard is on the record, but obtaining documents or other confirmation is all but impossible without details that would identify the locality where the rape occurred.

Oh it’s such a difficult story to check as there is nothing there! Which Megan makes very clear last night on Jesse Watters Primetime.

Furthermore, the Ohio AG had this to say about the supposed case of the 10 yr old rape victim

Yost also agreed with my assessment of the Ohio law, which is a heartbeat bill and not based on a specific age of the unborn child, unlike Dr. Bernard falsely claimed. It also contains exceptions for serious situations like this. “Ohio has a medical emergency section, broader than just the life of the mother. This young girl, if she exists and if this horrible thing actually happened to her… she did not have to leave Ohio to find treatment.”

So, to recap, Ohio law enforcement and the medical establishment cannot find any information about this case. Nothing has been reported anywhere. The reporting abortionist has gone radio silent, and the Indianapolis Star is probably doing a mad scramble in order to figure out how to fix the hoax they and so-called Dr. Bernard created. Darleen was right, liars will lie, and will get caught every time.

The truth doesn’t matter, the narrative is out there, that’s what matters.

  • GWB says:

So, IOW, once again a progressive lied – over and over again – to try and get their desired (destructive) policies enacted. It’s almost like this is a theme or something.

BTW, the information about the law is “new” to the argument and very helpful.

  • Scott says:

Wait a minute! Are you saying that those who rejoice in the murder of babies would lie in order to allow them to continue the practice???

    Say it isn’t so!

  • Cameron says:

Well, it *could* have happened which is why she wanted to “open a dialogue.”

/s in case you missed it.

  • Jeff Alberter says:

If this hypothetical 10-year old wanted to become a boy and started taking puberty blockers? No controversy.

  • Update: This supposedly did happen, and they’ve made an arrest of the rapist. But this only opens up more questions.

Why was the girl sent to Indiana, when there was no bar to the abortion in Ohio? Either now, or before the overturn of Roe. Shielding the illegal alien who they now accuse of the crime, keeping that out of the news to support Biden’s open borders, perhaps?

Did any of the mandated reporters (there would be several – any licensed medical person, not just MDs) perform their legal duty?

The timing of this arrest is rather suspicious – and the alleged rapist was granted bond. Yes, a million dollars – but that can be argued down, and the trial may never happen if he gets out. It will be “Vaya, muchachos” as he heads back to the border.

It is sad that such questions must be asked these days.

    • GWB says:

Really? Have they given any locality information?
It still sounds particularly convenient. (BTW, 6 weeks is about the length of time from the leak of Dobbs to the release of the actual decision (I think closer to 8 weeks).)

      • Cameron says:

        From an article:
Gershon Fuentes, 27, whose last known address was an apartment on Columbus’ Northwest Side

      • GWB says:

And I see the news reports coming out now. It seems a little pat (an illegal alien? convenient for the right, eh?). DCS has a report dated… 2 days before the Dobbs announcement? But it wasn’t reported to cops until…? And he was only arrested after the story went viral? Then he confessed?

This really does sound like the setup for every single 24 and police procedural (and private investigator) setback moment ever. But I’ll wait to see how it works out before I let my cynicism have full rein.

        • Cameron says:

I don’t blame you. Personally, I’m holding off until the facts come out. But my opinion (Legal disclaimer) is that it’s a hoax and if it is not, the OH doctor has some explaining to do.

      • Gryunt Scarhide says:

“Why was the girl sent to Indiana”

Maybe because mom didn’t want it reported as rape?

  • Gryunt Scarhide says:

Turns out it’s not a hoax, it’s an utter fucking disgrace on many, many levels, and getting worse with every new detail: https://redstate.com/jenniferoo/2022/07/14/the-10-year-old-ohio-girl-rape-story-turns-even-more-horrific-n594714

    • GWB says:

Given the supposed mother’s reaction to an attempted interview, I’m still going for “Not what it was claimed to be.”
