Today Peter Strzok testified before Congress regarding his text messages and emails with girlfriend Lisa Page about President Trump during the 2016 Presidential election. The entire hearing this morning was a chaotic farce with Peter Strzok’s arrogance on full display.
Peter Strzok’s texts and emails, which we covered on several occasions, were definitely NOT favorable to President Trump. Yet he appears before Congress and defiantly says that he remained impartial during the entire Russia collusion investigation.
But let me be clear, unequivocally and under oath: not once in my 26 years of defending my nation did my personal opinions impact any official action I took.
This is true for the Clinton email investigation, for the investigation into Russian interference, and for every other investigation I’ve worked on. It is not who I am, and it is not something I would ever do. Period.
Oh, really? OH, REALLY??!! You were able to remain impartial while sending text messages to your girlfriend discussing what Trump support SMELLS like? I. Don’t. Think. So.
Strzok’s entire opening statement lecture, which you can read in full here, is quite something.
Only one way to describe that lecture: obnoxious and arrogant.
It got worse from there. Watch this:
First of all, he’s yelling at members of Congress. Secondly, his choice of words such as “disgusting behavior by Trump” show a TON of bias! By the way, Peter, we are a REPUBLIC!
Additional bias was shown when freaking Democrats CLAPPED at the end of his lecture!

Just after noon, Peter Strzok actually denied that his text messages expressing disdain for Trump were “indicative of bias.” He actually said that.

Well, Peter, the fact is, no matter that you demand that we believe your texts have no meaning and weren’t biased at all, we aren’t buying what you are attempting to sell.

On the question of Strzok's bias and whether we should believe he didn't act on it. The question every American should ask is this: How would you feel if he'd expressed such disgust toward you, and was also investigating you?

Exactly. Peter Strzok did himself no favors today. His arrogance and bias towards Americans, towards this Republic, and towards Congress as a whole was one of the most obnoxious things I’ve ever seen. In fact, I’d say Toni’s Trump Derangement Sonnet fits him to a T.

And the “bad apples” excuse is BS. Every organization has its 10% bad apples, it’s the 90% who look the other way and do nothing who are the real problem.
There was a time I viewed the FBI as Boy Scouts with Laser Rifles. But now it should be obvious to all that FBI corruption is systemic. Page just flippantly ignored a subpoena. Remember that next time an FBI Agent tries to invoke the authority of the Rule of Law.
No confidence. Fire the FBI en mass, nuke the site from orbit and start over from scratch.
