Twitter Starts 2022 With Banning Spree

It’s a banning spree! For Twitter that is. Several high profile people have now found themselves suspended or permanently banned from the platform.

Twitter said on Sunday it permanently suspended the personal account of Rep. Marjorie Taylor Greene (R-Ga.) over the social media platform’s COVID-19 misinformation policy.

The social network said in a statement that it took the action after “repeated violations” of the policy.

“We permanently suspended the account you referenced (@mtgreenee) for repeated violations of our COVID-19 misinformation policy. We’ve been clear that, per our strike system for this policy, we will permanently suspend accounts for repeated violations of the policy,” a Twitter spokesperson told The Hill in a statement.

Of course, does Twitter explain which violations led to the permanent suspension? Nope. Not a peep. Many folks, however, believe it’s because of a tweet thread Congresswoman Marjorie Taylor Greene sent out over the weekend highlighting various issues of public policy response Before Covid and After Covid. Here’s a couple of screen shots of that tweet thread via the Thread Reader App.

Yes, the state of New York has new, VERY DISCRIMINATORY, guidelines regarding who is and isn’t eligible for monoclonal antibodies. Thus, that tweet is accurate. Yet is sure seems that Twitter has their narrative and accurate discussion of readily available information is…not allowed.

Congresswoman Marjorie Taylor Greene isn’t the only one who was hit with the Twitter banning spree over the last few days.

Indeed, Grabien Media was quoting an actual Congressman. Biggs stated something that is well known now. The CDC and Big Pharma have been actively engaged in discouraging the use of Ivermectin and HCQ (Hydroxychloroquine) for multiple reasons, economics being one such reason. Thus, it’s reasonable to inquire as to WHY the use is being discouraged for those in the early stages of Covid. Unless you are Twitter, then the narrative must be preserved and any questions that go against said narrative lead to permanent suspension.

“Obviously, in this case, quoting an elected leader on an issue that matters to everyone is important and newsworthy, regardless of whether you agree,” Elliott wrote. “And I can’t help but add that his basic point was once mainstream among progressives.”

He added, “I’ve appealed, making this point. However I have no confidence in Twitter doing the right thing and acknowledging this tweet did not violate its terms & conditions.”

Dr. Robert Malone was permanently suspended for supposedly tweeting major misinformation about the virus, vaccines, and more.

Twitter on Wednesday suspended the account operated by Dr. Robert Malone, a U.S.-based virologist, and immunologist credited for significantly contributing to the invention of the mRNA technology, the foundation of the Pfizer and Moderna vaccines against Covid-19.

The ban came just hours after the AP posted a controversial “fact check” report claiming Malone “misled” people by claiming the vaccines are failing against the Omicron variant.

Recent figures from Denmark and Germany refute AP’s fact-checker claim.

When one considers that well over 70% of the German population is fully vaccinated… OOPS. Furthermore, Dr. Malone is NOT an anti-vaxxer by any stretch of the imagination. What he has problems with, as do many including myself, is how the RESPONSE to the virus has caused more issues than solutions. He’s also against mandates that have absolutely NOTHING to do with science and he believes we SHOULD be asking questions and holding constructive dialogue.

Except that is the exact thing that all our Democrat betters, including those who run Twitter, don’t want.

We aren’t supposed to ask questions when the CDC and/or Fauci suddenly move the goal posts as they’ve done multiple times in the last two years, and as recently as this morning.

We aren’t supposed to ask questions when it becomes very apparent that this virus hits the elderly and those with underlying comorbidities the hardest.

We aren’t supposed to ask questions after it many realize that many of the mitigation efforts, especially lockdowns, are causing a major spike in mental health issues.

We certainly aren’t supposed to ask questions as to the origin of the virus, and definitely don’t ask why Twitter allows China to dictate how/when and who Twitter should censor.

Twitter’s hypocrisy has been highlighted many times. As we’ve noted, whether it’s banning or keeping illegal content up, Twitter seems to make those decisions depending upon the chosen narrative.

Twitter’s banning spree is accomplishing one thing. It is showing that the narrative must be preserved and uncomfortable questions should never be given the light of day.
