The ACLU, in its infinite wisdom, decided to give Christine Blasey Ford an award for courage lying. It seems that her lies and smears of Justice Brett Kavanaugh were deemed worthy enough for the Roger Baldwin Courage Award.
“Ford, a professor and researcher at Stanford University, was thrust into the public spotlight when she testified before the Senate Judiciary Committee last year ahead of Supreme Court Justice Brett Kavanaugh’s confirmation, alleging that the then-Supreme Court nominee had attempted to rape her at a party when they were teenagers.”
What exactly did she do that could be defined as courageous?
If that’s today’s definition of courage by the ACLU, then we have yet another word with its meaning distorted in order to fit a desired narrative.
What Christine Blasey Ford did, with the tacit approval of the Left and encouragement from the likes of Diane Feinstein, is the very opposite of courage. It is spiteful cowardice.
Not even thirty seconds in and she claims she was stepping up for other women. How does that work? For women who truly have been assaulted or raped, baseless accusations such as Ford’s do not help gain them the support they truly need! Due process is in place for a reason. It is a process that helps those who actually were assaulted or raped.
Yet, last fall, we watched as due process was willingly thrown into the ditch and stomped on because Trump and Kavanaugh were going to overturn Roe v. Wade.
Then, throughout the following months, we found out that, not only was due process abandoned, witnesses that Ford named were harassed and bullied by those who desperately wanted Ford’s whiny assertions to be true. If I were Leland Keyser, I would want to drop-kick Ford off a cliff for what she did.
Christine Blasey Ford whining about how hard this was is deemed courageous and award worthy by the ACLU?
“”I understood that not everyone would welcome my information, and I was prepared for a variety of outcomes, including being dismissed,” she said. “I was not prepared for the venom, the persistent attacks, the vilification, the loss of personal privacy, and the collateral damage to my friends and family. I was not prepared to be physically threatened or be forced out of our home for three months.””
Well toots, what the hell did you expect? You know, I still wonder why not a single family member spoke up in support of her. I still wonder why none of her friends, and I’m not including the ones she named, ever spoke up for her.
Guess what Chrissy? People are STILL vilifying Brett Kavanaugh because of your lies!

Never mind. It’s ok to continue to smear Brett Kavanaugh because we must ‘believe all women!’ We must use our voices to speak up and lie our asses off in order to get the outcome we feel we deserve!

You say you are thankful that you started a “national conversation about sexual assault.” Lying should not be considered a conversation starter, yet here we are. By the way, quoting Colin Kaepernick is quite laughable given his antics this weekend.
Near the beginning of her acceptance speech to the ACLU, Ford said it was “hard to feel worthy of this award.”
Yeah, being handed an award for LYING is nothing to cheer about. I’m sure that and your million dollars from the GoFundMe campaign will keep you warm at night.

Neither is the fact that the left has no problem whatsoever lying through their teeth to advance their agenda. As this and the Partisan Hacks post both point out, the left does not, even for a second believe the the untermensh that are conservatives deserve the presumption of innocence, due process, or any of the other protections of law.
