As I sit here in my living room in my Plaid Mode t-shirt, I have been perusing some of the highlights from yesterday’s Tesla Day of Rage around the nation.
For those of you who are not aware, Elon Musk haters took to Tesla dealerships nationwide to protest Musk’s involvement with Trump and DOGE. In fact, there were over 200 of these “Tesla Takedowns” across America, Canada and Europe.
I know what you’re thinking: 1) These are the people with nothing better to do on a Saturday and 2) Where the hell did they bus them all in from?
For the most part, the usual suspects:
That was in Boston. They were doing their own version of The Electric Slide in Seattle:
Oh hell, that’s how you know they mean business. That electric slide protest be real……
— PhtevenC (@420_Iroh) March 30, 2025
They all drive Subarus with Co-Exist stickers on the bumpers. Yeah, but Burn a Tesla!
I’d like to know who the idiot was that thought dancing with a gigantic, homemade swastika sign was a great idea. On to the Washington, D.C. Metro:
There’s a very serious and strategic component in what we’re doing. This is a way to say we’re not afraid.”-Melissa Knutson, Georgetown Protestor
Oooo. They’re not afraid of Big, Bad Orange and, “visionary”, “hero” (we have the receipts, Dems) Elon. You cannot be taken seriously if you’re doing the Electric Slide in protest of electric cars (that y’all once-upon-a-time lurrrrvvved). There’s nothing strategic about someone yelling at you to “sell your car” because they have collectively decided that they do not like the owner of the company after years of praising him. So, no. The Tesla Takedowns are not serious nor are they strategic, Melissa.
In Arlington, Virginia:
We have the jewel of the education system and they’re destroying it…It’s a long-term problem. I may be long gone but my grandchildren may suffer.”- Ed Grass
All due respect to Mr. Grass but, our kids have long been suffering by the gross mismanagement of the education system long before Trump, Musk and DOGE decided to slash at it. Remember when they were out of school for almost two years?
Touchdown in Ann Arbor, Michigan:
I noticed that the crowd in Ann Arbor and Troy were primarily people over the age of 65, white, and retired from jobs that depended on public funding as teachers, professors at local universities, and social workers.”-Lakshmi Varanasi, Yahoo! News Observer
Of course they were. They’re white and retired and living out their golden years where they get to see their grandchildren (if they have any). They have retirement savings and Social Security. They did their public service in their jobs as “educators”, some have a nice pension and now they’re done. They don’t give a sh*t about anyone else and their future, to include their very own grandchildren. In their defense, they were brainwashed. They supported the craven propaganda that was pushed because they were captive to MSNBC during COVID and convinced they were going to die-and that’s all they watched. It became their religion to worship at the alter of the media under lords of the Democratic Party. They may have even hung an “In this house” sign to signal that they may also be better than their other white neighbors. Unfortunately, you’re not telling any of these older folks anything different. They are stuck in the Kennedy era and swear up and down that they are true, blue Democrats and will not see or admit this party has changed for the absolute worse.
The Tesla Takedown Warriors Even had a printed out list of chants at some locations:
Elon Musk, got to Mars
We don’t want your swastikars
You know, I might just have to wear my “Occupy Mars” shirt today. But wait, there’s more!
Elon Musk is not elected
Democracy must be protected
Here comes another:
We will not cooperate
With your techno-fascist state
What in the fresh hell is a techno-fascist state? Are they referring to the techno-fascist state where the news was manipulated in the Biden era? That techno-facist state? Or when Facebook users would say something about lockdowns during COVID that was deemed “misleading” by their “fact checkers” and were exiled to Facebook jail? That techno-fascist state? No. But we’re now part of a techno-fascist state because Musk has aligned himself with Trump to cut the extra waste they were more than happy to pay for? They wanted their hard-earned dollars going to transgender operas overseas. I’m confused. Scratch that. Some of them don’t know the concept of a hard-earned dollar or a day’s work.
Of course, the one, “once in a generation leader“, Elon Musk responded, in typical Elon fashion:
Interesting https://t.co/8B6ATDMyZz
— Elon Musk (@elonmusk) March 29, 2025
Tesla Takedown organizers condemn the vandalism. One group said, “We are a non-violent grassroots protest movement. We oppose violence and destruction of property. Peaceful protest on public property is not domestic terrorism.”
Another group had a banner that read, “Burn a Tesla, save our Democracy”. Here we go again. They are condoning rioting in the streets. Democrats gonna Democrat. But, Heavens No! They don’t promote vandalism, violence or destruction at all! These were peaceful (paid) protests. They’re lovers, not fighters.
Also interesting. On the clock protesters https://t.co/HzsOUIivf0

How much were they paid and were other larger groups behind these so-called “grassroots” movements? From The Seattle Times:
The Lynnwood demonstration was one of five in the Greater Seattle area on Saturday. All of them were grassroots movements that have caught the eyes of progressive organizations like the Democratic Socialists of America, Indivisible and Troublemakers, which sent members to the various protests and advertised them in emails and news releases.”-The Seattle Times
Oh, the joy. The Democratic Socialists of America. Were they the ones who put out the Craigslist ads for Tesla protestors at $40 bucks an hour? They are, after all, flushed with Soros money.
In all honesty, all of this makes me want to go out and buy another Tesla. I feel a lightshow to Electric Slide in the next update coming on. Of course, Tesla owners can unite and attend the next protest at dealerships around the nation. I suggest we show up, throw our cars in Park and turn on Fart Mode to loudly drown out the pathetic, canned chants. It can be the electric car fart heard around the world.

Fart Mode? I like that, can’t wait to see how it works!
These were peaceful (paid) protests.
Probably not (paid) this time. Why do you think it was all retired hipsters? Heh.
On the clock protesters
Well, their protest permit might have expired at noon. When the gov’t gives you that, there is a time limit.
The one thing you left out were the counter-protesters (supporting Musk/Tesla) and the sometimes violent reactions they got. One crazy dude tried to run down a counter-protester. (He got caught and arrested.)
BTW, Lisa, your video is gone, and the post to which Musk responded has evidently been deleted.
“They all immediately left the minute it was 12:00 pm.”
Union protesters. Overtime was not approved.
You could stop any ten of these bozos and ask them to define what a fascist is and you’d get ten different answers, mostly of the word salad variety. They are mostly ignorant of history and have no idea; it boils down to anyone they disagree with.
