Susan Rice Still Covering For Obama
Susan Rice Still Covering For Obama
The former Obama administration officials that have worked themselves into a frenzy over the death of Qasem Soleimani can now add one Susan Rice to their number.
It seems the former National Security Advisor and UN ambassador doesn’t remember that she’s really Susan Rice. Perhaps she should actually just sit down and not talk about things like appropriate responses after an embassy is attacked. Ever.
But never fear, she made the rounds on television in order to keep massaging Obama’s legacy. It’s all the same with these former Obama sycophants – without Their Precious and his Legacy, they have no meaning in life or reason to be on TV or radio. And they NEED to keep those calls from CNN and MSNBC coming in. After all, Susan Rice has a book to push and has to sell tickets for her book tour. If she doesn’t have an Obama legacy to save, what exactly does she have to live off of for the rest of her life?
So Rice talked to both Wolf Blitzer and Rachel Maddow yesterday in an attempt to salvage her status and her former boss’s ego.
"I am doubtful that ultimately it will prove to be the right thing," says former national security adviser Susan Rice about President Trump's decision to order a US airstrike that killed Iranian general Qasem Soleimani. https://t.co/47nkJMu14i pic.twitter.com/LLSdDNASzL

Rice told CNN’s Wolf Blitzer Friday that she couldn’t trust the Trump administration to tell the truth.”
“This administration sadly, tragically, has a record of almost-daily misrepresenting the facts — telling falsehoods about issues big and very small. So, it’s hard to have confidence on the face at their representation,” she said.”
*cough cough* BENGHAZI *cough cough*
But Susan Rice is apparently determined to make sure that everyone watching her does a proper spit-take.
Rice questioned whether Trump made the right decision.”
“So, if in fact the administration can be believed that there was indeed strong intelligence of an imminent threat against the United States that’s being carried out by Soleimani and related militia then the question becomes [was] there more than one way to address that threat?” she told Maddow. “Was the only way to deal with it to kill Soleimani? Certainly, given his history and track record, he deserves his just rewards but the question is does that serve our interests? Does that make us more secure?”
This is rich, coming from Ms. YouTube Video herself. The Trump administration can’t be trusted, and it wasn’t “in our interests” to take out Soleimani, but, y’know, OBAMA WOULD HAVE TOTALLY TAKEN HIM OUT IF ONLY HE HAD BEEN GIVEN THE CHANCE, but Obama is so cool and devoid of emotion, and he never shoots first, so he went with the Neville Chamberlain foreign policy instead because CASH is the only way Iran takes you seriously.
“The report says Israel was "on the verge" of assassinating Soleimani three years ago, near Damascus, but the United States warned the Iranian leadership of the plan, revealing that Israel was closely tracking the Iranian general.”

This is now the M.O. from all former Obama officials. They really thought that they had won all the prizes in the carnival by working for The Chosen One. Losing to Trump and watching the “Obama legacy” get shredded up into tiny little pieces and then scattered to the winds (much like Soleimani) has them absolutely going crazy. And the media, who loathes Trump as well (without acknowledging that they had a hand in choosing the form of their destructor), is more than willing to coddle people like Susan Rice and her wild spin because they love Obama almost as much as they despise Trump.
Susan Rice will spend the rest of her public life defending Obama’s policies. I can’t imagine a worse purgatory to be trapped within. But remember, she does this willingly, in order to give her life relevance and to sell books. Still, how she manages to avoid the Ghosts of Benghazi Past with a straight face speaks to the lack of self-awareness within.
