Donald Trump and Mike Pence spent three hours touring flood ravaged areas of Louisiana today. Meanwhile the apologists did their darnedest to excuse the deafening silence from Obama and Hillary.

Exactly, the media is STILL beating up President Bush for the flyover in 2005! Meanwhile Secretary Jeh Johnson from DHS gave THIS excuse while visiting the flooded region.

When asked by reporters during a press conference if President Barack Obama would take time from his vacation to visit the state, Johnson was unable to commit.

“As I said, the president can’t be everywhere, I know he has a very busy schedule this fall and in the coming days,” Johnson said.

At same time Johnson was saying that, President Duffer in Chief was playing on the golf course. Nice optics there Sparky. There’s one who DIDN’T offer up an excuse for Obama but praised Trump instead.

Wanna bet the powers that be aren’t too happy with her right now? Meanwhile Trump and Spence thanked the first responders they met.

They toured and slogged through flood soaked neighborhoods.

They met with many of those who’ve lost their homes or businesses and all their belongings.

And they helped unload a semi truck of supplies.

And he needs to get at least two more rounds of golf in before leaving the party zone. Oh, and lest you think he’s going to wait to give a lecture, the prelim has already been issued.

President Obama has refused so far to survey the Louisiana flood disaster, but he did let state and local officials know that he’s watching to make sure they don’t engage in racial discrimination.
In a 16-page guidance issued Tuesday, the Obama administration, led by the Justice Department, warned Louisiana recipients of federal disaster assistance against engaging in “unlawful discrimination on the basis of race, color, or national origin (including limited English proficiency).”

WOW. Currently 20 parishes are waist deep under water. Over 40,000 homes have been flooded beyond repair. 13 people have lost their lives. Any and all differences and hatred have been cast aside as the best of human nature shows itself and the President decides to issue a lecturing memo about discrimination??!!! Rightly so, the very existence and nature of that memo is ticking quite a few people off. President Putt Putt definitely showed his cluelessness and arrogance on this one.

Meanwhile guess who woke up? Hillary. Just long enough to make a call and write a Facebook post.

I just got off the phone with Governor John Bel Edwards in Louisiana.

The flooding there is bigger than anyone expected—more than 40,000 homes have been damaged and more than 100,000 people have been affected.

My heart breaks for Louisiana, and right now, the relief effort can’t afford any distractions. The very best way this team can help is to make sure Louisianans have the resources they need.

Keep in mind that the flooding has been going on for over a week and with new storms on the way, the flooding  may continue. Also keep in mind that the ONLY other comment she made was a pathetic little tweet 3 days ago. In light of her little snark at Trump, lets review this flashback shall we?

So why did she wake up? Why is Obama going to visit next Tuesday and likely offer up another lecture? Its simple really. They absolutely cannot stand that Donald Trump exhibited some pretty major Presidential chops today by showing up when they wouldn’t.
