South Park Might Get Sued By Publicity Hounds Harry And Meghan

South Park hilariously trolled Harry and Meghan on last week’s episode titled “The Worldwide Privacy Tour.”

“South Park” has mercilessly mocked Meghan Markle and Prince Harry in an episode based on the exiled royals.

The Duke and Duchess of Sussex’s decision to move across the pond in a desperate bid for privacy has been highlighted in the show’s latest episode, titled “The Worldwide Privacy Tour.”

The episode, which begins with a disclaimer saying all characters — even if they’re based on real people — are fictional, centers around the couple who move to a fictional town for privacy.

The entire episode, while using completely fictional characters, managed to cheekily capture Harry and Meghan at their publicity-mongering best and worst. From their abrupt announcement that they are leaving to Meghan’s trashing of the Royal Family during that hideous “look at MEEEEEE” interview with Oprah, to THE SPARE book which left nothing to the imagination regarding Harry, and their Netflix/Spotify whatever show… South Park covered nearly all of it in style. Even with a poke at their highfalutin mansion style of living, even though they supposedly couldn’t initially afford the price tag.

The pair bought the nine-bedroom, 16-bathroom estate for a cool $14.65 million in 2020 after quitting the royal family earlier that year — an estate with rose gardens, a tennis court, a tea house and a two-bedroom guest house. It’s reportedly the first home that both Prince Harry and Meghan had ever owned.

South Park has been running for 26 years now. No one, and I mean no one, has been safe from the shows creators. You do something that is newsworthy or something that lands you on the front pages consistently, South Park will find a way to skewer you.

Believe me, the entire episode is funnier than hell. As are all the South Park episodes. And when I say they skewer everyone, no one is left unscathed. As we’ve noted, they’ve taken on China and the NBA over censorship. Barbara Streisand was skewered for suing over her house showing up in photos. Whether you are a Christian, a Mormon, a politician, actor, actress, athlete, woke or not, politically correct, or follow some weird religion, South Park will find a way.

Evidently Harry and Meghan’s strategic charm offensive plus all the information Harry peddled in his book caught the attention of creators Trey Stone and Matt Parker. The end result was a hilarious skewering of the two publicity seekers. Well, now it seems they aren’t too happy with this.

Specifically, their attorneys are looking over the situation and will be watching South Park closely going forward.

Royal commentator Neil Sean has stated the couple’s legal team is now watching the series closely for any more attacks.
Sean said: “According to sources close to the ex-royals, it appears that, like so many things with Meghan and Harry, this may have legal ramifications attached.
“Their legal team are casting an eye over the episode to see what is wrong, and what could be turned into something more sinister.”

I can just picture it now. The couple’s attorneys being ordered to watch future South Park episodes in order to find out if Harry and Meghan are referenced in any way shape or form and use that as part of the basis for their lawsuit. Others, such as Tom Cruise have tried, and failed epically.

Furthermore, when I say that South Park goes after everyone, that means everyone. Including all members of the Royal Family.

Needless to say, if it is true that Harry and Meghan have gotten their attorneys on the case, it will essentially prove the South Park creators right. They want publicity that they like. Not publicity that makes a mockery of their virtue signaling lecture lifestyle. Furthermore, if they DO go after South Park, hence showing that they can’t take a joke, what will it do to Harry’s admittedly minuscule chances at attending his father’s Coronation in May?

Before agreeing to fly to the UK for the occasion, the Duke of Sussex, 38, reportedly wants to speak to dad Charles, 74, and brother William, 40, to go over the finer details and clear the air.

Harry is understood not to have had any contact with either since the release of his explosive memoir Spare last month.

A source told The Mirror: “Harry has been very clear and his position hasn’t wavered.

“He isn’t going to come if he feels the atmosphere will be as toxic as it was during the Queen’s Platinum Jubilee and funeral.

“He’s said he wants to reconcile with his family and it’s their call, but so far nothing has changed.”

It’s sad to say, but given how they both have been handling or mishandling issues like this, it seems the toxic ones are Harry and Meghan. If they DO end up suing, I’d be willing to bet a new episode will be titled “The Royals Who Couldn’t Take A Joke.”

If they do sue South Park et al it would be confirmation of their desire to be supreme attention-seeking and self-important victims of the century. If they lost such a case they would be ridiculed even more and if they won they would be seen as petty and humourless dweebs at best.

Granted, South Park won’t make fun of Islam any longer but they are otherwise consistent. And someone might want to remind those two that in America, we have protection of free speech and can make fun of anyone.

They stopped ridiculing the middle east pedophile and his violent followers? that’s a shame…

As for the clown prince of cuck and his skank, someone need to tell them that in this country, (at least for now), were CITIZENS, not subjects, and there’s this thing called the first amendment… ooh, and to paraphrase the bard, “may they both ingest a satchel of richards”…

      • Cameron says:

I think (Legal disclaimer) that the people who cut the checks for South Park made it clear that making fun of Muslims was not going to happen any longer.

And I am really looking forward to this attempt at a lawsuit.

That wouldn’t surprise me, they are the new favorite “untouchable” class… amazing how morons always seem to embrace that which looks to destroy them..

    Sweeeeeeeet.

Since when are these folks “the Sussexes”? Pretty sure Harry’s last name is Windsor, right? They aren’t royals here* and people shouldn’t really be using their title to refer to them.
(* I thought technically they weren’t royals anymore there, either.)

    • Deanna Fisher says:

Technically, it would be “Mountbatten-Windsor,” since the family name is now hyphenated for all royals not in the direct line of rule (we shall see if Charles actually renames the family house in order to honor his father). The American press is just following the British convention of continually using their title as a surname. We really should start calling them Harry Mountbatten-Windsor and Meghan Markle.
