Jimmy Kimmel doubled down on his remarks about Melania Trump last night. He claims it was all just a light-hearted friendly roast about the age difference between President Trump and Melania.

As I noted yesterday,  Jimmy Kimmel, at one point during his pretend WHCD monologue last Thursday, described Melania as having the “glow of an expectant widow.” That line got applause from the clapping idiots in the audience. Liberal media has been trying to cover for Jimmy ever since.

Please Jake, with big crayons, point out which Republicans are calling for deaths of politicians, celebrating assassination attempts, wear Nazi tattoos, or are calling political opponents fascists and Nazis? 

No one? That’s what I thought. Democrats however… 

But it was just a joke about the age difference! What’s the big deal??

The joke, seemingly intended as a simple reference to the 79-year-old president’s age, was interpreted by many in the MAGA world as an incitement of violence.

Obviously no one, including Jimmy himself, took a step back and thought… you know, maybe after three attempts on President Trump’s life, this joke won’t land well. He ran with it anyway. And now, in the wake of the fourth attempt on President Trump’s life and that of many Administration officials, Kimmel is digging a deeper hole for himself. 

It’s obvious he didn’t learn a damned thing from his atrocious remarks about Charlie Kirk. 

Given his remarks last Thursday and the attack at the WHCD on Saturday night, some of Jimmy Kimmel’s guests backed out. 

Mentalist Oz Pearlman will not appear on “Jimmy Kimmel Live!” Monday night, despite previously being scheduled as the embattled comedian’s guest.

Pearlman’s apparent decision to back out comes two days after the White House Correspondents’ Dinner shooting, where the entertainer was set to perform magic tricks for the commander-in-chief and attendees — and hours after President Trump and first lady Melania Trump both called for Kimmel’s firing over a “hateful” monologue.

Kimmel, 58, mocked the dinner during a sketch on his show last week, where he delivered a fake speech in which he said, “Our first lady, Melania, is here. Look at Melania, so beautiful. Mrs. Trump, you have a glow like an expectant widow.”

Pearlman, who was in the middle of a trick when shots rang out outside the Washington Hilton ballroom, described the incident as “the scariest moment of my life” in an Instagram post Sunday.

“Was in the middle of performing for the President and First Lady when I looked up to see a commotion, thought it was a bomb about to go off or shots fired,” he wrote. “We hit the deck fast and Secret Service acted decisively and professionally to protect us all.”

I have to think that Pearlman realized that it would seem that he approved of Kimmel’s comments if he appeared on the show. 

Kimmel, Democrats, and others across the media are now whining about free speech. 

Democrats had a meltdown over a rodeo clown wearing a mask and got him fired and banned. They gnashed teeth and got a staffer fired for commenting on an Obama daughter’s outfit.

No one wants Kimmel permanently canceled. He can leave ABC and take his schtick to podcasts or whatever. But it’s important to keep in mind that Melania is also equally free to call him out and ask ABC to reconsider keeping him on their payroll, even as he continues to damage the brand. Kimmel saying crap like this about Melania and then doubling down while an employee of ABC implies ABC has given its approval as a company for Kimmel to vomit up the trash he does. 

He still claims that, because it was a pretend roast, everything he said was fine. Just a teeny tiny little joke guys. Sure the dinner ended up being traumatic, but no one got killed so chill out man! 

Jimmy Kimmel’s self righteous arrogance is loathsome to behold. Especially when you realize that he would never and has never said anything similar about the Bidens, Obamas, or Clintons. 

Jimmy Kimmel is a corrosive coward hiding behind ABC microphones. ABC is just as cowardly because the news organization still hasn’t reported on any of this. 

Kimmel isn’t funny and he has zero class. His arrogance ensures he will never EVER be the same caliber as Johnny Carson.

I’d tell Jimmy Kimmel to “Be Best.” But he’d have to climb out of the gutter first.
