While Philadelphia tries to recover from the Super Bowl riots and people debate which commercials were winners and losers, the Senate Judiciary Committee quietly released a memo regarding a SECOND dossier that Christopher Steele wrote.
It contains some VERY interesting information.
According to the referral, Steele wrote the additional memo based on anti-Trump information that originated with a foreign source. In a convoluted scheme outlined in the referral, the foreign source gave the information to an unnamed associate of Hillary and Bill Clinton, who then gave the information to an unnamed official in the Obama State Department, who then gave the information to Steele. Steele wrote a report based on the information, but the redacted version of the referral does not say what Steele did with the report after that.
Certainly portions of the memo the Senate Judiciary released are redacted.
However, what isn’t redacted makes for quite the read. The memo, which you can read in full here, was sent to Deputy Attorney General Rod Rosenstein and Christopher Wray, Director of the FBI.
Quite an interesting rundown of the memo and the work done by Steele and Fusion GPS isn’t it?
Oh but wait, here’s the kicker.
Did you catch that? Steele received information on October 19, 2016 from someone IN THE OBAMA STATE DEPARTMENT. In fact, that was the second report that came from the State Department via a ‘foreign sub-source.’ That source? Someone who got information from a friend of Hillary and Bill Clinton.
In other words, the Clintons were definitely involved in some, part, or even all of the dossier.
So we now know that Christopher Steele (author of the phony Russian dossier) wrote another anti-Trump memo and was given his information by a Clinton ally AND the Obama State Department! The level of corruption going on in the Obama WH was astounding – it was a crime spree!

Yes, the level of corruption is beyond astounding. Interestingly Victoria Nuland, former Assistant Secretary of State said this on Sunday’s Face The Nation.
Wait what? Christopher Steele had numerous clients in the Ukraine during the crisis of 2014-2105? He offered this information to the State Department for FREE? Really? Who were those clients and what was in it for him by offering up this freebie? Who was running State Department at that time? John Kerry. And who was running the FBI at that time? Some guy named James Comey.
“It is troubling enough that the Clinton Campaign funded Mr. Steele’s work, but that these Clinton associates were contemporaneously feeding Mr. Steele allegations raises additional concerns about his credibility,” the senators wrote to Deputy Attorney General Rod Rosenstein, who oversees the Russia probe, and FBI Director Christopher Wray.
Exactly. The Senate Judiciary referred Christopher Steele to the DOJ for investigation involving possible violations of 18 U.S.C 1001. If Steele is found to have concealed major information or lied about it, he could face a prison term of at least 5 and possibly 8 years.
The memo also points us to who the Clinton ally and State Department sources are.

Per Byron York, the foreign source had some interesting ties.
Published accounts in the Guardian and the Washington Post have indicated that Clinton associate Cody Shearer was in contact with Steele about anti-Trump research, and Obama State Department official Jonathan Winer was a connection between Steele and the State Department during the 2016 campaign.
Suffice it to say, this makes the Clintons, James Comey, John Kerry and others look very swampy.
There is more to the referral than what was revealed today and the Senate is hoping to have the remainder declassified soon. Stay tuned and buckle up, the bus ride is about to get bumpy!
Sheesh. If this little peek behind the shroud of government obfuscation looks this bad, can you imagine what the full-blown reality is like? Across all the agencies, not just the intelligence & justice orgs? The IRS….. EPA….. HHS….. DOE…. CFPB. The leadership levels of this behemoth administrative state are predominantly staffed across the board by politically-savvy leftist activists — just like the academic faculty of the liberal arts colleges. They hide beneath civil service wrongful termination regulations in the government, and behind tenure policies at the universities. What a cesspool.
Remember when Obama said, “Not even a smidgen of corruption,” in answer to O’Reilly’s queries about Lois Lerner and the IRS during an interview?

I’m sure you noticed today that the House Intel Committee voted to release the Democrat response memo, with none of the ridiculous histrionics from the Republicans that we saw during January from the Democrats trying to stop the release of the Nunes memo? The GOP isn’t trying to hide anything, but the Dems sure are.
Two final thoughts: It’s amazing how the first image of redacted text in your article had little more than the page number “7” showing. And the second image would actually be pretty entertaining to use as a Mad-lib game.
Cheers, Nina!

Notice the timing. Oct 19, the application for the warrant was Oct 21.
Steele also delivered memo that week with a different source confirming the Carter Page meeting and describing specific details, and including Michael Cohen.
This is what fundamental transformation looks like.
