Here comes the media. All in for Kamala. You see, after a series of flubs and missteps, she’s got her groove on!

After a history-making ascent to the vice presidency and a humbling descent into mockery and disdain following her rocky start, Harris finally seems to have found her footing in a role to which she is accustomed and adept: prosecuting attorney.

I love how the LA Times completely ignores the fact that her presidential campaign was an abject failure due to A. her own incompetence, B. her campaign’s incompetence, and C. the fact that the primary voters absolutely abhorred her. 

Her tenure as Vice President has been a disaster, and that’s a tame description. As we’ve written on multiple occasions, Kamala is unable to address serious topics without uttering nervous cackling laughs. Furthermore, it’s been highly evident on multiple occasions that she is woefully unprepared. If it was a one-time thing, we could consider that her staff fell down on the job. But this is multiple times across multiple issues and topics. Her missteps and sheer ignorance of the matters at hand have been a feature with her, not a bug. 

Now the media is rushing into the breach one more to rehabilitate Kamala. Given how horrible the polling numbers are, the Democrat media complex is coming across as a little desperate at this point. 

So when Vice President Kamala Harris arrived on Friday in Orangeburg, S.C., for her ninth visit to South Carolina since taking office, she came as a known quantity. While she and Mr. Biden are running for renomination without serious challengers, the relationships she has developed in the state are expected to play a part in lifting their ticket to a comfortable triumph on Saturday in the party’s first recognized primary election.

Ms. Harris’s trip, as well as her college tour last year and an ongoing circuit to defend abortion rights and promote the Democratic agenda, also served two larger purposes: working to shore up Mr. Biden’s lingering vulnerabilities with Black voters and young voters, and keeping the first woman and first woman of color to serve as vice president at the forefront for the next presidential contest in 2028.

Did you catch that? Joe Biden and crew supposedly would have an easy win in South Carolina due to his gaming of the system, yet they were still having to persuade Democrat voters to actually VOTE for the pair. 

Yet, instead of ensuring Kamala can and is able to speak coherently on a variety of issues that American voters are concerned about, she’s going to (evidently) conduct her campaign on a single issue. Abortion. 

Donald Trump expressed his great delight at choosing three of the Supreme Court justices who overturned the constitutional right to abortion and now the vice president was using his own word — proud — to whip up a labor hall packed with jeering, cheering Nevada Democrats.

“Proud,” she said. “Proud for taking the freedom of choice from millions of women and people in America.”

Her higher profile — as cheerleader, prosecutor, pugilist — is a reset of sorts after Harris’ many early missteps and a series of assignments, among them immigration reform and border control, that seemed destined to fail.

Her purpose, and utility, changed when the Supreme Court issued its abortion decision in the Dobbs case in June 2022, overturning Roe vs. Wade.

Somehow her reboot and singular focus on abortion isn’t completely resonating with all voters.

Yet, in between touting abortion as THE issue for the election, Kamala along with the Biden Administration as a whole is insisting that the economy is absolutely terrific! That’s ok though, Kamala’s campaign groove involves insisting that Republicans are the ones who pose a danger to the country.

I love the complete lack of self-awareness here. 

Darned near every issue she talks about, she could look right in the mirror to see exactly who is responsible for these problems. 

Hence, Kamala’s groove with the media’s assistance, involves ignoring all the major issues impacting our country and choosing instead to focus on abortion as if that is the sole issue keeping Americans up at night.
