Big Budget Security For The Big Beautiful Ballroom

Democrats have got their frilly knickers in a knot over the Big Beautiful Ballroom that President Donald Trump is constructing to replace the East Wing at the White House. Let us add to that the security budget for the military and defense systems of about $1 billion. The Democrat’s media scribes are echoing their angry howls from the incurable TDS (Trump Derangement Syndrome).

In case you haven’t figured it out, I am a big, yuge fan of President Donald Trump. He exhausts me, true. On the other hand, he is so great that it will be decades before we see his like again. The ballroom idea is long needed and the renderings displayed are stunning. All of the argle-bargle of the media scribes and the mentally tiny Democrats is infuriating:

I am willing to bet that Senator Schumer has been to a fancy party.

We citizens of the USA were sold that this Big Beautiful Ballroom would not cost the taxpayers a dime. Yes, and even as the price tag went from $250 million to $400 million it was all going to come from DONATIONS. Still is. That’s not going to stop the Democrat Media Industrial Complex from whining about the $1 billion price tag for the four floor security complex underneath the building. From ABC:

Senate Republicans are aiming to secure $1 billion in funding for security-related aspects of the White House ballroom project as part of a broader, roughly $70 billion funding package for immigration enforcement, which they aim to pass with little-to-no support from Democrats.

Republicans began unveiling aspects of their reconciliation package late Monday night. Included within the bill is a $1 billion allocation to the Secret Service for “the purposes of security adjustments and upgrades … relating to the East Wing Modernization Project, including above-ground and below-ground security features.”

The funding can only be used for security-related aspects of the project, according to the bill text.

The Trump administration has previously said it aims to raise $400 million in private donations to pay for the ballroom, and has said it will cost the taxpayer nothing.

The ballroom shouldn’t cost the taxpayers a dime. The security complex should have the latest Inspector Gadget tools for keeping the White House Complex safe.

Okay, Captain Obvious, we can’t randomly enter the Oval Office or Chuck Schumer’s office either. Duh.

Is Forbes Magazine lying about the Big Beautiful Ballroom costs, gaslighting us or unable to comprehend the difference between the ballroom project and the security complex:

I am going to pick “all of the above”. Speaking of gaslighting and unable to comprehend, here is double dip of NPR and Senator Liawatha Warren:

The bill also contains one billion dollars for the Secret Service, part of the DHS, for security infrastructure related to President Trump’s White House ballroom project. According to the bill text, the funds may not be used for any non-security elements of the project, which the administration says is being funded through private donations.

“The White House applauds Congress’s latest proposal in its reconciliation package which includes additional funding for security infrastructure upgrades in relation to the long overdue East Wing Modernization Project,” White House spokesman Davis Ingle said in a statement to NPR. “Due in part to the recent assassination attempt on President Trump at the White House Correspondents’ Dinner, the proposal would provide the United States Secret Service with the resources they need to fully and completely harden the White House complex.”

Democrats say the ballroom security funding is an example of frivolous spending by the Trump administration as the U.S. war on Iran continues to drive up the cost of living.

“This is hypocrisy at its finest,” Sen. Elizabeth Warren, D-Mass., wrote on X. “Trump’s gold-encrusted ballroom has gone from costing $200 million funded by shady donors to $1 BILLION from TAXPAYERS — snuck into the ICE bill by Senate Republicans.”

These people are mean and ugly in their souls. They don’t want President Trump and his guests to be safe. They will be happy as pigs in muck with the next Democrat President (Please, God, no.) to use the ballroom and the whole complex. They won’t kvetch about the price of the room or security.

The TDS is off the charts.
