Salon‘s Amanda Marcotte never ceases to disappoint with her uncontrollable TDS and theories. In this screed, Marcotte delves into the “dark truth” behind Trump’s hatred of presidential nominee, Kamala Harris’ laugh.
We LOL’ed. Loudly and vibrantly at this. But never mind that, because according to Marcotte, we are self-loathing women whose husbands tell us how to vote.
As we enter into the delusional mind of Amanda Marcotte, where she attempts to dissect the “dark truth” behind Kamala’s cackle, she states that Trump did not mince words about how he wishes Kamala Harris would behave.

Kamala and everyone who identifies as a Democrat, so it seems, have taken to name-calling. Shocker, I know. The GOP is weird, man. JD Vance is weird. Donald Trump is weird. He never laughs. Marcotte even dragged Melania Trump into this mess:

Deranged liberals like Amanda Marcotte flat out refuse to see the warmth and compassion of a woman who, in my opinion, has more caring, class and personality in her perfectly manicured pinkie than Jill Lady McBeth Biden, who threw her senile husband out on display for the entire world to see. I suggest Maroctte hit up Google to search for pictures of Melania Trump’s smile. She certainly never LAUGHED when asked about her visit to the U.S. Southern Border after being named “Border Czar” (a job the media is now saying was “never hers”). She never laughed about the crisis in Ukraine on national TV:

Yes, Mandy. We’re just “parroting” the “fixations” of our leader because we don’t have minds of our own to discern that laughing during a national and international crisis is flat-out inappropriate. Sure, they could make the argument that Kamala’s laugher is out of nervousness but, is it too much to expect the holder of the second-highest (and hopeful for the highest) seat in the nation have just a little bearing? Or, can we not expect this of someone who hides out in her office playing solitaire while the country burns? And, again, Marcotte goes out with Melania Trump who “rarely cracks a smile”. So much for Dems being “about women and for women”. Oh, great advocate of abused women, Amanda Marcotte, seems to laser in on Melania for some reason. Instead of offering her a branch of compassion and sympathy for being married to thee worst person on the planet and the subject of her ire, Amanda Marcotte throws more shade at Melania Trump. Obsessed much?
I suspect what sets off misogynists like Trump is the way a woman’s laughter reminds them that women are autonomous human beings, who have full interior lives. For such men, they prefer to imagine women as appendages of men, who have no motivations outside of pleasing and serving men. A woman who laughs at a man’s jokes is acceptable. You don’t see Trump getting mad at the MAGA women who laugh at the faux-stand-up routine that he does at his rallies. What is joyful about the increase of human trafficking (to include CHILDREN) and prostitution? What is joyful about innocent, hard-working Ukrainian families losing everything and fearing for their lives? There is NO joy in any of this, Ms. Marcotte.

I will offer a personal anecdote here about dancing. Once upon a time circa 1994, I dated a VERY misogynistic man-child who hated his mommy. I remember the one day I broke out in a dorky, Elaine-from-Seinfeld-esque in front of him to be told, (in all seriousness) to “never do that again”. This man set out to break my spirit and he DID sexually assault me. This man, to this day, is a LIBERAL DEMOCRAT. More Marcotte, unhinged:

It seems as thought Marcotte has a severe misunderstanding of who we are as Conservative women. We have “wine nights” (although they are more Tequila nights at my house) and sit-downs with our girlfriends. We laugh a lot, we talk about our kids, we talk about our lives and our workplaces. We do not think this is banal. Our husbands do not come “unglued” when the cackling starts but they may go into another room because the cackling has started. And, as far as the family pets go, Conservative men are more than happy to gaze into the eyes of their loving four-legged friends-dogs or cats along side us. Most men are mature enough to realize that this love is a different kind of love and admiration.

The “dark truth” here? There is a reason Trump hates Kamala’s laugh. We women hate it, too, because it clearly indicates that she is not ready or capable of the job for which she applies. It’s not that deep, philosophical or complex, as Amanda Marcotte indicates. The “dark truth” is that LIBERALS are the angry ones. Show them some love today and smile, Conservative ladies. I guarantee your spirit will irritate their demonic possession.

I worked at a College for 15 years. There was a woman there who you could literally hear across campus when she laughed. She had such robust laugh that it was contagious. It made those around her smile with joy and glee. She was awarded an honorary degree, was chosen as staff member of the year, and was beloved by all. When you Kamala in these settings where she is bursting out with laughter, others are drawn in and joyful as well.
What you should be talking about is why the Malignant Tumor is incapable if laughing; actually, he’s even incapable of smiling. Who doesn’t laugh? Who doesn’t smile? Who doesn’t revel in the joy of others? People avoid people who are incapable of joy. If you read any first hand report about the Malignant Tumor, his circle is small because people avoid and stay away from him because of the raging, selfishness and negativity. That’s a sign of narcissist who is only interested in himself and getting his needs met. Victory Girls follows after the Malignant Tumor; they are dour, negative, dismissive and unable to express joy.

A reader says: He hates her laugh because he hates being laughed at. Pure and simple. Just look at how he reacted after the White House Correspondent’s dinner when Obama made the joke about him. Or when others have laughed at him. It’s actually pretty simple.
I’m not sure why you ladies are so focused on it. Could it be hatred of black women showing joy and freedom? Because Trump doesn’t like it? Because a woman with joy and in her own power who doesn’t agree with you makes you bitter? Something else? Who knows. But the various blog posts the writers here have written on it show how little you actually have to complain about. Complaining incessantly about someone’s laugh makes you look petty and mean. It’s also childish. Just ignore her. Don’t write about it. Maybe write about Republican policies that you think are great that Trump would enact in his second term. Write about what you’re for, not what you’re against. Because right now, you just seem petty, small and yes, weird, for obsessing over her laugh, or her race or whatever other silly thing you focus on. People are noticing and they’re getting annoyed, you just may not be seeing it.

As to the cackle that Round heels uses, it has nothing to with real joy, as many here have pointed out, conservative women are FAR happier than leftists (and are generally not part of the 51% of young women with mental issues), the point is (since you’re obviously not bright enough to understand it)
1. Her laugh is forced and fake, when not being used to cover her complete incompetence on a subject
2. Her laugh is most often used at inappropriate times, like discussing the suffering of Ukrainian civilians, innocents murdered by illegal aliens, and similar circumstances
3. The other most common time it’s used is when she’s asked a question that she doesn’t have the slightest clue how to answer because she’s totally incompetent.
You’d also do well to remember that this ladder climbing cackling whore dropped out of a DEMOCRAT primary before getting a SINGLE delegate because she was both totally incompetent and totally unlikeable. I cringed reading Ms. Marcotte’s recent shabby diatribe against J.D. Vance. I don’t understand how she self-appointed herself to the role of a “feminist” spokeswomen. I guess like her candidate, she never actually had to run for the honor, did she?.
