Kamala Harris loves her Venn diagrams, yellow school busses and abstract, inspirational pep talks. This past weekend, members of the WNBA were lucky enough to receive one of them.
On Sunday, Harris was in attendance for a showdown between the Los Angeles Sparks and the Chicago Sky. After the game, she had the opportunity to speak to the Sparks in the locker room. The players, who have not visited The White House since Trump took the presidency, were in sheer awe when the former Veep showed up.
Keep doing what you’re doing. You guys are impacting people. People who you may never meet. People who may never know your names or mine. But they are aware of what you are doing and it is giving them a sense of their value and their dignity and they have a right to expect from this world. So, congratulations on this game, but congratulations as much as anything else, for the path you guys are charting. It is extraordinary to watch. That’s it.” (insert cackles here)-Kamala Harris
Kamala Harris has been spotted serving the WNBA a full serving of word salad.
I still thank God every single day that this woman lost the election. https://t.co/amMasqkxxa pic.twitter.com/YZetOFUoQ3

Toss it up, Kammie. Pass me the Ranch dressing. In all honesty, we can give the one-minute locker room pep talk a listen again, but, why? Is there more meaning in those words?
"You see basketball is a game played with a basket and a ball so in essence there's a basket and you have a ball and you try to put the ball in the basket the real determination is the basket and the ball go together so if you put the ball in the basket that's called a basket the…

How are people impacted if they don’t know their names or hers? And, no one has a right to expect from this world, Kamala. This world is a cruel place. This world is temporary. No one, and I mean, not a single person on this Earth owes you anything. Period. Expecting from this world yields a bunch of entitled, disrespectful half-wit twits. But, yeah. This is the WNBA we are talking about so, I guess this tracks. Let’s go, girls.
I don’t want anyone ever again to tell me how hard the bar exam is, if Kamala and Crockett passed, it can’t possibly be that difficult. And if I’m president I’d be just fine if the WNBA didn’t want to come visit me.

Furthermore, if you are pulling your value and your dignity from this world, who apparently owes you, then, you are again, looking for your value and dignity in the wrong place. Now, the WNBA clearly loves Kamala. You only need to glance at their star-struck faces as the woman who stands up in front of them and throws out childish platitudes that make absolutely no sense. Trust me when I say that most people don’t know the names of all of the women in the WNBA. And, because of their performative politics, most don’t care to. Value and dignity for some is derived from something or Someone higher than a woman who can dribble a ball across a court, complaining about wearing an America 250th patch. I venture to say, if one’s value and dignity doesn’t come from Higher, then, maybe some of Kamala’s wine-induced ramblings might make sense. But, really. Who is taking advice on value and dignity from this woman?
That’s right. The WNBA is. The same group of people who endorsed Kamala Harris and Tim Walz after Caitlin Clark was assaulted on the court. Clearly, someone (Alyssa Thomas) thought someone else owed her something (a win in this case). So, spare us on the value and dignity BS.
The story of Kamala Harris, her early career escapades, her sheer lack of ability to get a job done as a Vice President of The United States of America and her VP pick, Tim Walz, should be a cautionary tale on value and dignity and how low the bar can go. Neither one has much of either. If they did, they would go quietly into the night. We understand Timmy is trying to stay out of the crosshairs of Minnesota fraud, so he is keeping a low profile, mostly. But, Kamala? It’s almost as if she (perish the thought) is entertaining running again in 2028.
So to Kamala, we say this: keep doing what you’re doing. And if you expect the world to treat you with dignity and respect, honey, you may need to start with a legit, truthful inventory of yourself. Keep dribbling.
