Howard Schultz Is Whipping Liberals Into A Froth

Here comes Howard Schultz, and with him come the coffee puns. And trailing in his wake are some very lathered-up leftists.

You see, Howard Schultz is contemplating a run for president as an “independent centrist.” Most on the left are worried that if he jumps into the 2020 presidential race, it’s going to draw away votes from whomever gets the Democratic nomination.

Let’s be honest – Schultz is a typical Seattle progressive liberal. (Even though Seattle is in no mood to entertain the whims or apologies of Howard Schultz.) There isn’t a single social issue where he comes down on the conservative side. Running as a Ross Perot spoiler will hurt Democrats. Don’t tell Donald Trump, though.

Is this a chess move by Donald Trump, egging on Howard Schultz to run and divide Democrats? Ummm, no. This is more ego recognizing ego, and Trump not wanting Schultz to horn in on his territory.

Now, Schultz has just about as much personality as a drip coffee, so he’s not exactly going to draw crowds. What he IS managing to do, though, is point out that the Democrats are going to lose the center if they keep pushing the hard-left socialist agenda, as Kamala Harris has apparently decided to do:

Get in your single-payer line, everyone! Kamala is going to wipe out the private health insurance industry (and all the jobs that go with it) in one fell swoop!

Howard Schultz knows that’s just crazy talk.

Pass the Americano, please. This could get very entertaining.

So, while Schultz sounds less crazy than the far left, he is still on the left. For as much as conservatives may point out that Donald Trump has merely paid lip service to certain conservative principles, Howard Schultz won’t even do that. I will bet my next white chocolate mocha on that one.

But it sure is fun to watch him make the Democrats – who are watching every single major candidate go further and further left – squirm miserably as he points out a few honest truths.

Well, honestly, if it becomes a gov’t thing, the jobs will multiply – possibly exponentially. And gov’t jobs never go away because the gov’t seldom trims its force and never experiences leveraged buyouts. If there’s a hostile takeover, we’ve got bigger issues to worry about.

    RACIST!

I’m hoping all the hullabaloo keeps Americans focused on the dumpster fire that is progressivism and their totalitarian tendencies. It should keep Trump around for a few more years.
The real issue (presidentially speaking) is 2024 – who follows the Trumpster?
Can we ever go back to regular politicians (even ones that actually want smaller gov’t and such)?

Democrats that divide the country give encouragement to Putin and the Cubans who are establishing Socialist dictatorships in Latin America and running drugs and criminals into the US. The wall is cheaper than going to war with all the Marxist scum in the South. The democrats are leaving us with no alternative but war.
