Boy, they are really desperate for votes! Felons and 16 yr olds should have the right to vote says Squad member Ayanna Pressley.

Democrat Massachusetts Rep. Ayanna Pressley, a far-left ‘Squad’ member, called for allowing “incarcerated citizens” to vote in federal elections while referencing her support for permitting individuals as young as 16 years of age to cast a ballot.

Pressley made the comments during a Wednesday press conference while introducing legislation alongside Democrat Vermont Sen. Peter Welch that would restore felons’ voting rights.

Pressley, who is a big fan of rioters, is serious about this. 

You see, people in prison are “disenfranchised” because their voting rights have been taken away. And the convicts who suffer the most are Blacks and Hispanics.

In late 2022, approximately 4.6 million people were unable to vote due to a felony conviction, according to a study by the Sentencing Project, a nonpartisan research group. The same study found that Black and Hispanic citizens are disproportionately likely to be disenfranchised due to felony convictions.

You see, this would give those felons a stronger tie to their community. Yes, really. 

“As someone whose family has been personally impacted by mass incarceration, I know how important it is for people to maintain ties to their community, including by voting,” Pressley said.

In other words, if that right is reinstated, you can darned well bet she’ll be front and center demanding those felons vote for her! 

I’m of the mind set and always will be, that anyone who commits murder should have his or her voting rights taken away. Period.

In a word, YES. They are desperate to keep Democrats in power. They are gleeful at the fact that Kevin McCarthy is stepping down and salivating at the thought that they could flip his seat from R to D at the next election. They love the fact that there will be over 23 million immigrants voting in the 2024 Presidential election. 

Based on 2021 figures, there are more than 23 million immigrants in the U.S. who are eligible to vote ahead of next year’s election. Nearly 24 million immigrants have naturalized American citizenship.

The analysis indicates that foreign-born eligible voters will again account for about 1-in-10 of all eligible voters in 2024 — likely an unprecedented level of foreign-born eligible voters in the American electorate, giving enormous voting power to those who were not born in the U.S.

Keep in mind, the 2020 election was decided by a narrow margin of seven million votes. So now, the Democrats want to add another four million criminals to the voting roster in hopes that all of them will cast their votes for Democrats. And hey! They can vote by mail …from prison! What could possibly go wrong in this scenario? 

They also want the voting age lowered to 16. Which is incredibly laughable for a number of reasons. Specifically education or the lack thereof. 

Let’s not forget all the activist teachers around the country who are more interested in leftist causes than educating students on actual American history and government. 

Some public school educators in Oakland, Calif., presented pro-Palestinian lessons on Wednesday as part of an unauthorized teach-in.

The event’s anonymous organizers created a lengthy list of suggested curriculum materials for all grade levels, from pre-K through high school. The document calls Israel an “apartheid state” and refers to “the historic and unfolding oppression and genocide of Palestinians.”

Nate Landry, 40, a parent in the district who is acting as a spokesman for the organizers, said teachers saw the proposed curriculum as “a corrective” to mainstream education materials that take a pro-Israel view.

As Kim wrote yesterday while blasting Randi Weingarten, the profound learning loss in mathematics is going to be a serious problem for this country down the road. I shudder to think of the statistics that will be showing up concerning the depth of learning loss of reading, history, civics, and more. 

And yet, Squad Member Ayanna Pressley wants 16 year olds to vote. Has she MET today’s 16 year olds? 

Something else to keep in mind concerning Pressley wanting 16 year olds to vote. Many of these 16-yr olds are GIRLS. The Democrats are either staying silent or are endorsing transgender males entering into girls sports. This is happening all across the country, and yet Pressley likely believes that they’ll lockstep vote for any Democrat on the ballot. 

Furthermore, this is blatant pandering to Blacks and Hispanics. Two demographics that have been slowly moving away from the Democrat Party on several fronts. The polling continues to show that. 

But while white Americans have been lukewarm about Biden for a majority of his administration, the president is losing support at a faster clip among people of color. That’s consistent with what other sources have found: The latest New York Times/Siena College polling found signs that Biden was losing ground among Black voters. And Democrats have been warning about signs of Latino voters turning toward the GOP for years.

Thus, while we can point and laugh at Ayanna Pressley’s desire to have felons and 16-yr olds be handed the right to vote in the 2024 Presidential Election, we need to recognize that they are both serious and desperate for votes in order to keep Democrats in power.
