Bret Baier somehow convinced Hillary Clinton to come onto Fox News and attend an hour-long town hall last evening, preceded by her rival, Bernie Sanders. It was announced last week, but Clinton declined the invitation to attend citing a schedule conflict. (Yeah, sure. Wink and a nod.) So something happened in the past few days that compelled her to get her pantsuited self over to Fox and answer Bret’s questions, as well as a handful of inquiries from the audience. So without further fanfare, here’s the lowdown on the issues covered. First, we had to sit through the Bern:

While Sanders supported bailing out the auto industry, Single-Issue Bernie reminded us that Cash Cow Clinton supported the Wall Street bailout:

And then Baier moved on to how, precisely, B.S. plans to pay for all the shiny free stuff?

Social media answered for him:

Taxes, taxes, and more taxes. That should stimulate the lethargic economy!

Then it was Crazy Bernie on unlimited abortion:

Never mind that a baby is a separate human being with his or her own distinct DNA. I thought you guys embraced science? Or is that only relevant when you’re trying to hock the climate change hoax?

Just to break up the tedium, there was a bit of an odd fixation on Bret’s hair:

Then it was Hillary’s turn.

Baier wasted no time jumping into Clinton’s failed foreign policy as SecState, specifically in Libya, and the resulting rise of ISIS and mass Christian genocide:

Baier also asked Hillary about her support of Bill Clinton’s 1994 crime bill that resulted in soaring incarceration rates, even for low-level offenders. But no biggie. She’s prepared to fix it now. Just like she’ll repair the mess she helped create in Libya, along with ISIS, or something.

Then Hillary laid out her own extremist position on abortion:

Semantics. I think what you mean, Hillary, is “infanticide prohibition.” Funny how that regulation-free stance doesn’t also pertain to the Second Amendment with you Leftists.

And midway through, Baier finally broached the ongoing FBI investigation of Hillary’s private server, arguably THEE reason those of us who routinely snub Hillary Clinton tuned in to this town hall. (Fun Fact: Sunday’s Democrat Debate waited until the debate’s waning moments to even raise the subject, which Hillary summarily ignored). Yet again, she doubled quadrupled down on her “nothing marked classified” mantra:

And just for kicks, some viewers honed in on how to tell when Hillary’s being dishonest:

No. Next question?

Some on social media were apoplectic about—drum roll—the radical idea of working to pay for college and reducing student debt:

Hillary’s proposing, by the way, more “free” bennies within health insurance policies while at the same time reducing premium costs. How will more freebies result in lower costs? No clue. Because she says so. The words “if you like your healthcare policy…” come to mind.

And on her chilly, Stepford Wife demeanor:

Now that I’d pay to see!

It was a quick half-hour full of few audience questions and long-winded answers, with at least one of the attendees expressing outward disdainful for Hillary. Behold, Striped Sweater Lady:

I think it’s safe to say, at least on social media, that most viewers were pro-Bern, and anti- lying Wall Street shill.

If you’re willing to stomach it, here’s the entire one-hour Bernie/Hillary job interview:

The nutshell takeaway from Monday’s town hall is this: Hillary Clinton has definitely lost the lion’s share of the millennial vote to Captain Free Crap. We’re doomed.

Nevertheless…Bravo to Brett for asking substantive questions the other networks typically avoid, as well as questions that the Democrats in attendance and watching on TV and social media wanted asked. Always the professional, Baier managed to do what everyone else on Fox has failed to do for the past two years: Interview Hillary Clinton. It was far too short, but just getting her on the record fibbing once again about the ongoing email scandal and accompanying FBI investigation was well worth the few minutes devoted to the issue.

Once again, we watched, so you don’t have to. You’re welcome.
