Comey Firing Led To FBI Trump Investigation

Comey Firing Led To FBI Trump Investigation

We’re going to file this one under “Beware The Deep State”. The New York Times posted an article with the title “F.B.I. Opened Inquiry Into Whether Trump Was Secretly Working on Behalf of Russia”. While I am sure that Leftwits are rubbing their claw-like little hands and practically wetting themselves with glee, the fact that the FBI opened this inquiry because of the Comey firing is Kafkaesque enough to make the late F.B.I. director J. Edgar Hoover proud.

From the article:

In the days after President Trump fired James B. Comey as F.B.I. director, law enforcement officials became so concerned by the president’s behavior that they began investigating whether he had been working on behalf of Russia against American interests, according to former law enforcement officials and others familiar with the investigation.

The inquiry carried explosive implications. Counterintelligence investigators had to consider whether the president’s own actions constituted a possible threat to national security. Agents also sought to determine whether Mr. Trump was knowingly working for Russia or had unwittingly fallen under Moscow’s influence.

The investigation the F.B.I. opened into Mr. Trump also had a criminal aspect, which has long been publicly known: whether his firing of Mr. Comey constituted obstruction of justice.

Agents and senior F.B.I. officials had grown suspicious of Mr. Trump’s ties to Russia during the 2016 campaign but held off on opening an …

My mind is blow reading that and your should be too. The credulousness of those paragraphs is frightening. There were many, many, many reasons for the Comey firing. Victory Girls’ Nina wrote an excellent wrap up on the Comey firing in May of 2017 and you can read it here. Any President would have and should have fired FBI Director Comey.

I didn’t understand why anyone would think that Donald Trump, son of a Scottish immigrant, would want to collude with anyone who wasn’t true to the red, white and blue. Forget the Dossier. Know one outside of the Hillary Clinton cabal could believe that whale excrement. At least that’s what I thought. Then, I inserted “Russian Mafia and Donald Trump” into a Google search box and 10,200,000 (ten million, two hundred thousand) results popped up in 0.57 seconds. Who knew the Leftwits have an even more active conspiracy theory coterie than the Right Wing Nut Jobs?

We know that Special Counsel Mueller took over the probe within days of it being opened. This investigation has become a Hydra with so many heads pointed in every possible direction. The Deep State is determined to get Trump on something, anything. Here is my favorite paragraph in this very long Times article:

No evidence has emerged publicly that Mr. Trump was secretly in contact with or took direction from Russian government officials. An F.B.I. spokeswoman and a spokesman for the special counsel’s office both declined to comment.

That paragraph is about a third of the way through the article. Much later the article says the FBI was troubled by a mention of the Russia investigation in a letter about firing Comey that Trump wrote to Comey but never sent. Wait, what? Why does this make me think of the dragon eating its own tail? Is this what this is all about: the FBI opened an investigation into Russian collusion because Trump wrote but never sent a letter about the investigation into Russian collusion. That ought to scare the bejeebers out of anyone with a firing brain synapse.

Watch the overwrought performance of Brian Williams (no relation, I hope) on MSNBC last night:

I smell collusion. Pardon my language but why dafuq is the FBI feeding the New York Times and other media outlet this boomwat. Oh yeah, I’ll take “What is the Deep State?” for $1000.00, Alex.

The final two paragraphs of the article certainly do convict President Donald Trump:

.B.I. officials viewed their decision to move quickly as validated when a comment the president made to visiting Russian officials in the Oval Office shortly after he fired Mr. Comey was revealed days later.

“I just fired the head of the F.B.I. He was crazy, a real nut job,” Mr. Trump said, according to a document summarizing the meeting. “I faced great pressure because of Russia. That’s taken off.”

Yes, because that’s how those sneaky Russian operative work, right out in the open. This was taken though not from a verbatim transcript but from a “document summarizing the meeting”.

Wake up America. I don’t give a fig how much you hate Donald Trump. This isn’t about Donald Trump. This is about the Rule of Law. We cannot let the Deep State win.

Because of something he wrote in a letter he did not send.
So, they got the contents of the letter how?

Why are the quotations in Faded Gray? Have pity on us poor readers. Black on white is best because easiest to read.

This is all positioning for the “Mueller Report” in which it will be revealed that although no direct and conclusive evidence has been found of Donld Trump criminally and traitorously plotting with the Russians against the USA, Mueller has found countless examples of Trump associates doing nefarious or at least ambiguous things before, during and after the 2016 election, and lots of very perturbing statements from Trump himself, that led the brave guys and gals at the FBI to have very very plausible suspicons that the USA’s security was in danger. Consequently their investigation was totally reasonable and on the level, and not even slightly comparable to a coup d’etat, which some Neanderthal knuckledraggers might otherwise imagine. Jonathon Turley’s recent article is a good illustration of how it’s all going to be presented.

The dark side have made it through successfully to the midterms, and the FBI and DoJ having spent two years smearing The Donald, they can pass the baton on to the House committees.

But most of all, there is NO CASE for any kind of investigation of an alleged attemted coup d’etat. The brave investigators of the FBI were only doing their job, and they always play it straight. They even leak to the NYT in the finest traditions of the service.

NO CASE I tell ya !

Had old Mrs. Clinton won the election, would she have fired FBI Director Comey? Yeah, in a New York minute!
Therefore, let’s see the FBI investigate old Mrs. Clinton and her connections to Russia. Fair is fair.*

    * yeah, I know you’re laughing after that remark–consistency of principles is not a virtue among Leftists

When candidate Trump suggested the Russians might have Hillary’s missing emails, that might have been tongue-in-cheek humor, and factual. She didn’t have security on her private server. Every foreign nation with a working IT department probably had copies of those emails. Why didn’t Hillary? They were incriminating. That was a joke guys. So instead of investigating felonious activities by Hillary, they are investigating Trump.

By the way, pity the foreign intel guys having to read thousand of emails by Hillary about wedding plans and yoga routines. Almost makes me pity them. Can you imagine the Chinese fellows reading about those wedding plans? Or the Russians having to think about Hillary in various yoga poses? Serves those Godless Communists right.
