Hunter Biden has to be the luckiest idiot to ever exist. Every time he screws up or screws around, someone is always there to clean up his mess.

In fact, there are very few instances where Hunter Biden has ever been held truly accountable for his actions (having to pay child support is one thing that Old Daddy Joe hasn’t managed to get him out of). He’s never faced real consequences for his rampant drug abuse, for his disgusting treatment of female employees, for his cashing in on the family name, for his tax evasion, or for his obvious gun felony. And the people who have been tasked with investigating him are now so fed up that a whistleblower is seeking legal protection and citing the Attorney General of the United States, Merrick Garland, as the official who is giving Hunter Biden “preferential treatment.” (May we all count our blessings and thank Mitch McConnell every day that Garland is not sitting on the Supreme Court right now.)

Even NBC News is reporting that federal prosecutors are sitting on potential charges against Hunter Biden, and that these investigations were concluded a long time ago. The stalling out of the case is what is likely causing the whistleblower to seek legal protection.

The possible charges are two misdemeanor counts for failure to file taxes, a single felony count of tax evasion related to a business expense for one year of taxes, and the gun charge, also a potential felony.”

Two senior law enforcement sources told NBC News about “growing frustration” inside the FBI because investigators finished the bulk of their work on the case about a year ago. A senior law enforcement source said the IRS finished its investigation more than a year ago.”

The Washington Post previously reported that federal investigators believed they had gathered enough evidence to charge Hunter Biden with tax crimes and a false statement related to a gun purchase.”

The decision on which charges to file, if any, will be made by U.S. Attorney David Weiss, who was appointed by President Donald Trump and retained by the Biden administration to continue the Hunter Biden investigation. There are no indications a final decision has been made, said the two sources familiar with the matter.”

The longer that Weiss waits to file any charges against Hunter Biden makes it more and more likely that it will never happen. Why? We are past the midterms and rapidly approaching the 2024 presidential primary season. There are reports that Biden will officially launch his re-election campaign next week. Is the Biden Justice Department actually going to file charges against the sitting president’s son right after his campaign announcement? If Garland is actively sitting on Weiss to keep charges from being filed, that’s obstruction, plain and simple. And the investigations into the Biden corruption just keep catching more Bidens in the net, as Jonathan Turley points out.

Just this week, Chairman Comer revealed that new financial documents show six additional Biden family members may have benefited from foreign payments. That brings the total to nine Biden family members who appear on suspicious transactions or bank records. The identity of these family members and the underlying payments remain unclear, but the past disclosures of alleged influence peddling by Hunter Biden and his uncle James warrant full investigation.”

Can you imagine any other political family where at least NINE members got money from foreign sources, and the media was decidedly uncurious about how that happened?

The Bidens have long counted on an enabling media to tamp down coverage of corruption allegations. The most remarkable effort was successful burying of the Hunter Biden laptop before the election. The Bidens were able to get the media to buy into the effort. For many reporters, even the acknowledgment of this corruption would be a self-indictment of their own lack of curiosity and integrity.”

Ah yes, the laptop. Funny that Turley should mention that, and mention how the entire leftist media apparatus swallowed the “Russian disinformation” excuse hook, line, and sinker. We’ve just learned who and how got that story planted in the media – and it involves YET ANOTHER Cabinet member of the Biden administration.

In private sworn testimony, (former acting CIA Director Mike) Morell told the House Judiciary Committee that Antony Blinken, now secretary of state, was the senior campaign official who reached out to him “on or before” Oct. 17, 2020, three days after The Post published an email from the laptop suggesting Hunter had introduced his Ukrainian business partner to his father, then-Vice President Biden.”

Morell, identified as a potential CIA director under Biden, said he organized the letter to “help Vice President Biden … because I wanted him to win the election.”

Until Blinken’s call, Morell told House investigators, he had no intention of writing any statement exonerating Biden.”

But he agreed that the conversation with Blinken “triggered … that intent” in him.”

Let’s get this timeline in order. The New York Post publishes the laptop story and is immediately locked down on social media. Biden campaign lackey Antony Blinken then reaches out to friendly CIA contacts days later, and a letter condemning the laptop as “Russian disinformation” is created in order to give Biden cover. Morell, encouraged by Blinken (who was aided by Andrew Bates, the rapid response director of the Biden campaign and now the current deputy press secretary), started the ball rolling and got his CIA friends to sign a letter, and then were told where to send it.

Over the next two days, Morell gathered signatures from 51 former intelligence officials, including himself and four other former CIA directors, including John Brennan and Leon Panetta.”

Morell testified that he sent an email telling Nick Shapiro, former deputy chief of staff to Brennan, that the Biden campaign wanted the statement to go to a particular reporter at the Washington Post and that he should send the statement to the campaign as well.”

Morell did not recall why he told Shapiro the campaign wanted the statement to go to this reporter first and admitted that he may have spoken to the campaign on another occasion.”

In the end, Shapiro took the letter to Politico, which published it on Oct. 19 under the headline: “Hunter Biden story is Russian disinfo, dozens of former officials say.”

The letter alleged that the New York Post story “has all the classic earmarks of a Russian information operation.”

Which then gave Joe Biden the ability to do this during the final debate with Donald Trump on October 22, 2020.

This means that, in two consecutive presidential elections, the Democratic candidate generated fake claims about Russia; spread them via intel officials and media stenographers; and did so to deflect from factual disclosures about their corruption.

And now we know that the letter was a planted product of the Biden campaign, engineered by Antony Blinken, shopped out to willing media syncophants, all to cover the fact that Hunter Biden is a drug-addled slimeball who abandoned his laptop at a repair shop. I tell you, this fool is one of the luckiest bastards to ever draw breath. Does anyone think that Hunter would be so protected if he WASN’T Joe Biden’s son?

So, Blinken is yet another political hack that got rewarded for covering Hunter’s ass (quite literally), the media (with rare exceptions that can be named on one hand) are tools who were desperate to provide Old Joe with cover and believe a story that fit their preconceived narrative, and now Garland is allegedly making sure that any charges against Hunter are slow-walked, if not buried. The only thing that the Biden team didn’t account for was the potential for witnesses to tell the truth, or for whistleblowers to seek legal protection. (The Clintons were never that careless. *cough*)

What happens now? Hunter is still pond scum. The signers of the “Russian disinformation” letter admit that that the laptop is legitimate. Social media is forced to admit that they censored the story. And we’re all supposed to just forgive and forget because Joe Biden definitely has, and the Deep State is still firmly in place.

We The People had better be raising our voices to those congresspeople addressed on the whistleblower’s letter and demanding that this person get the legal protection they need in order to testify, immediately.
