Twitter Files: The FBI Protected Hunter Biden

In this seventh installment of the Twitter Files, presented in this round by Michael Shellenberger, we learn just how deep the state is that has decided to protect one campaign from negative news stemming from the follies and failures of one particular family member.

I don’t know how the detail is going to get any more explicit than what we’re seeing here, and it can be essentially summed up in this tweet:

But in order to get the fuller scope of what the FBI did, through their former co-workers positioned at Twitter – especially Jim Baker, whom Elon Musk later fired – we have to look at the entirety of Shellenberger’s thread. After recalling what Matt Taibbi revealed about the ties between Twitter and the FBI in part six, followed by a supplementary thread yesterday, which continued to tell the story of how the FBI, along with other federal agencies, used Twitter as their warrantless eyes and ears to snoop on the American people. Shellenberger now picks up the story of how the FBI, after grooming Twitter management over the course of months and years to jump when they say jump, uses Jim Baker as their mole within the company to suppress the Hunter Biden laptop story under the guise of it being a Russian disinformation campaign against then-candidate Joe Biden’s son, even though the FBI knew that the laptop was real.

(On an idle side note, does anyone think the FBI would have been hopping to protect the adult son of Donald Trump from a “disinformation campaign” in 2016? I think we all know the answer to that. The Deep State plays its favorites, and their favorites are the ones who let the Deep State’s control run unchecked.)

Shellenberger kicks off the thread by reminding us where this all began. Hunter Biden, who, if nothing else, is a careless and irresponsible adult male over the age of 50 who likes to record himself doing excessively stupid things, left a laptop at a computer repair shop in Delaware and never bothered to pick it back up. The owner of the repair shop, John Paul Mac Isaac, contacted the FBI about the laptop, and the FBI picked up that laptop in December 2019. Joe Biden had declared his candidacy for president in April 2019, so at this point, the laptop directly concerned a presidential candidate’s family. Because Mac Isaac didn’t hear back from the FBI (who clearly wanted to bury the laptop), he turned over the copy of the hard drive files that he had made to Rudy Giuliani, who then passed them to the New York Post. We already know how Twitter deliberately suppressed the Post’s story from Matt Taibbi under the pretense of “hacked materials.” Now we get to why Yoel Roth, Vijaya Gadde, and other company management were so eager to keep the story from spreading. And it all traces back to former G-man Jim Baker, who, along with other former FBI agents, were now working at Twitter in positions to flex their influence to both smear and suppress the Hunter Biden laptop story, and Agent Elvis Chan, who was apparently Yoel Roth’s “handler” at the FBI. Agent Chan, according to what Shellenberger has found, got top executives SECURITY CLEARANCE in order to groom them into thinking that they were in the informational loop when it came to what the FBI wanted them to know.

Yoel Roth later tells Kara Swisher during an interview that this “primed” him to be on alert when the Hunter Biden laptop story appeared, as Shellenberger points out. Roth also participates in September 2020 in a “tabletop exercise” at the Aspen Institute covering what to do if, say, a leak of Burisma documents just HAPPENED to be released in October. WOW THIS ISN’T SUSPICIOUS AT ALL IS IT.

And then Agent Chan “remembers” that Jim Baker is at Twitter. Sure.

We now know that Jim Baker got a private classified briefing from the FBI with no other Twitter employees present. And when the Hunter Biden laptop story broke, it was Jim Baker who insisted to Roth and Gadde that this had to fall under the “hacked materials” category – even though the FBI knew it wasn’t hacked or disinformation, and Baker got a classified briefing.

So, to review, Baker insists that the laptop story should be banned, even though the documents show that the FBI took receipt of the laptop in December 2019, and Twitter caves under this pressure from the FBI via Baker’s mouth, because Roth had been repeatedly groomed and the psychological groundwork laid to believe that there would be a leak of Hunter Biden documents before the election to embarrass or expose Joe Biden.

Again, IF EVERYTHING HUNTER DID WAS ON THE LEVEL, THEN WHY WAS THE RELEASE OF THESE DOCUMENTS A PROBLEM?

Shellenberger accurately calls this a “political dirty trick” by the FBI. This entire scheme had only one end goal: protect Hunter Biden long enough to get through election day. If the laptop story is discredited immediately as “hacked material” or “Russian disinformation,” as an entire list of “intelligence experts” claimed, then the lapdog media would happily run with it, and anyone who insists that the laptop is real can be dismissed as some kind of wacky conspiracy theorist. And we know THAT from how Lesley Stahl treated President Trump when he brought the laptop up during an interview.

The entirety of Shellenberger’s thread is damning, but only for those who want the truth. How much do you want to bet the media covers it? HAHAHAHAHA. The Deep State protects its own. Twitter got PAID with taxpayer dollars for their “time” in “helping” the FBI out with all those pesky requests. And Jim Baker was pleased.

Of course, Jim Baker is no longer at Twitter, having been fired by Elon Musk, but again I ask, how many of these former FBI employees are still at Twitter? And where is Agent Elvis Chan now, and what is he currently working on?

Elon Musk did everyone a favor by cleaning house at Twitter, but it might not be enough. The FBI needs a housecleaning as well, but no one is willing to do that, especially not while Joe Biden is still president. The stench of the Deep State will continue to spread.
