Bah Humbug! Some Liberals Don’t Want to Coexist at Christmas, They Want Revenge [VIDEO]

On this night in 1914, during the opening months of World War I, British and German troops held an impromptu Christmas truce. They sang songs, exchanged rations and buttons, and participated in a soccer match. It was a brief moment of peace in a war that would rip Europe to shreds for the next four years.

So if the warring Germans and Brits could set aside brutality for one brief moment, what about liberals in 2016? Can they set aside their rage after the election and learn to “coexist” with conservative family members? Even if it’s just for Christmas?

Not on your life. Some are even plotting revenge.

They won’t be giving gifts. They’ll be donating to liberal causes in the names of their Trump-voting relatives.

“With my oldest brother, who I know voted for Trump, I’m going right for the jugular. I’m donating to the Democratic National Committee on his behalf,” said one man.

Going for the jugular. Nice sentiment, there.

He continued: “I’m still grappling with the result of the election and this is my small slice of revenge for the fact that their votes have just jeopardized me and the entire world for the next four years.”

Oh. Grow. Up.

I’ll be spending Christmas with my husband’s family, which includes a niece who is a women’s studies major, her liberal boyfriend who is a doctoral candidate in communications, and another niece’s new husband who supported Bernie Sanders. I won’t bring up politics. I don’t expect any of them to do so, either. If they do, I’ll just ask them to pass the cupcakes, and wow! I love this gift from Bath and Body! Thank you!

But if any of you have liberal relatives who want to give you the business about Trump, just play this video on your wide screen TV. Turn up the volume.

I promise you that you won’t be able to get the song out of your head. The best part? Neither will they.

A Merry Christmas to all our readers. God bless you, every one!

Kim is a pint-sized patriot who packs some big contradictions. She is a Baby Boomer who never became a hippie, an active Republican who first registered as a Democrat (okay, it was to help a sorority sister's father in his run for sheriff), and a devout Lutheran who practices yoga. Growing up in small-town Indiana, now living in the Kansas City metro, Kim is a conservative Midwestern gal whose heart is also in the Seattle area, where her eldest daughter, son-in-law, and grandson live. Kim is a working speech pathologist who left school system employment behind to subcontract to an agency, and has never looked back. She describes her conservatism as falling in the mold of Russell Kirk's Ten Conservative Principles. Don't know what they are? Google them!

Went to college with the hippies back in the day. All ‘n all, not a bad bunch…….they reasoned as children then, as all leftists do now.
It was admirable that they were proud to be communists……in that…..they were being honest about their politics…..even if their politics stunk.
Then came the 70s……they came to realize that communism wasn’t getting much traction throughout the nation. It was then that they began to camouflage their true political views.
They gained headway by “advocating for” numerous specific “agendas,” beyond the “civil rights movement” that won them so much acclaim.
They’ve been riding high since then, thanks to Alinsky’s play book.
Thank God, that America has been given another chance, to make them little more than a footnote in our history…….let us not frappe it!

I would suggest that the gifts of those with such a spirit of revenge in their hearts hardly qualify as Christmas gifts. Myself, if it was known that such a gift was given to me, I would politely decline the offering.

They ought to recall that through no worthiness of man God became man to save us from our sins. Yet, these begrudge and insult us because of an election.

    Pray for them.

Kim is correct. They need to GROW UP.

On another note… that video?? BWAHAHAHA!!

On a separate note, I wish ya’ll a Blessed Christmas as we at this time of the year, though not just at this time, rather especially at this time, contemplate The Nativity of Our Lord Jesus Christ.

As finite humans attempting to grasp something of the infinite, it’s not without it’s frustrations, doubts, and struggles. Yet, those who have faithfully continued the course attest that it is worth the trials. Admittedly, our time is one in which it is all the more demanding, as well as necessary, for Christians to be increasingly engaged in and challenged by their faith.

This may seem overwhelming, scary even to some, until we let our gaze fall upon the manger and the Christ Child. This is how HE comes to us, not as a demanding, domineering lord. Rather, He comes as one who entrusts Himself to our care. Would we allow an infant to be uncared for, neglected and not nourished?
Of course not! Then, ought we not care for the infancy of out faith as we would a child. To see that it is fed by Word and Sacrament. Ought we not see that our faith grows and matures, as does a child? Ought we ought not as adults have a mature faith which enables to contend in this world and withstands the slings and arrows of the Evil One? And, yet …

We are those weak and frail creatures, imperfect in our thoughts, words and deeds. So, another Christmas comes and we ask ourselves, “How is HE who was once born now be born anew to us that we might live in accordance with His Divine Will and Love?”

May you and yours have a most Blessed Christmas that He may fill your lives with joy, peace, and love!

It’s really the most wonderful time in 28 years, not eight! The last time we had a real Republican conservative in office was Jan. 19, 1989, and Reagan was the man. GHW Bush did everything he could to dump on Reagan’s legacy and policies, even to the point of having the vapors when the Berlin Wall came down and wanting to prop up the USSR. I hope and pray that Trump’s election will mark the end of the bushies and their influence.

P.S.—Merry Christmas to one and all! And a MAGA 2017 too!!
